Yes, that is totally the way things go with every single arc. Great setup, promising at the beginning, then it starts to fall apart in the middle and the climax sucks. They say they plan out the season at the beginning, but I wonder how detailed that is. It's probably just broad strokes, or they know they want to get from Point A to Point D, but they don't exactly figure out the route, so they have to half-ass it. Plus, I think they have no concept of pacing, so they end up rushing at the end.

Ugh, stuff like that is part of why I almost never go into the tags on Tumblr and stick to my dash. There's always something that pops up that I don't want to see, even if it's just hatred. Real-people fanfic is SO SQUICKY AND DISTURBING!

She has TONS of tattoos, so to me it's just one in a string and probably not that big a deal to her to add one more. She's celebrating something that made her happy. About the only thing that would EVER make me even THINK about getting a tattoo would be if Colin drew me a hook, LOL. Eccentric musicians? They're about as rare as eccentric artists. (I know a few.) ;)

Hey, I said, don't quote me on that! ;) It's just an impression I've gotten, but I don't pay too much attention to what goes on within OUAT fandoms other than CS and what I stumble across on general OUAT social media. There's a lot of conflict among ALL ships, which is unfortunate, but SQ definitely seems the most contentious, as they're the one that conflicts with two other, canon ships. I didn't really step into the fandom until after Neal was dead, but there are certainly still some contentious, hardcore SF fans around, but it doesn't seem a big fandom now (for obvious reasons).

It was this poll. I think you can tell by the number of votes that perhaps something ever-so-slightly hinky may have happened with the top two couples. ;) I think the fans of every other couple saw what was happening and cleared the field. I think SQ fans and RB fans may get along, because there's no ship overlap and they bond in their hatred of Hook, but don't quote me on that. As for the size of the SQ fandom, I have no clue. It's really impossible to gauge. Certainly they think (and many of them constantly say) they're the biggest Once fandom -- which I think is utter and complete bollocks. IMO they're much louder than their size. I think they're much more an Internet fandom than a general-viewer fandom. I also had no clue that people shipped Emma and Regina before joining the fandom. Which was pretty silly on my part, as there are people who will ship any combination of two things on the planet; I'm sure there are people who ship a whisk with a wiffle ball.

Ugh, I hate the Bad Apples in this fandom! Deluded and rude is a bad combination. I guess the other big fandom kerfuffle right now involves SQ fans accusing OQ fans of robo-voting on that favorite couples poll that OQ finished second in, saying that it shouldn't count and that SQ fans vote only in IP-protected polls. Yeah, right. LOL. As if every fandom with more than 12 fans doesn't cheat on Internet polls. Everybody with any sense knows that Internet polls are cheated on all the time, so they're not even remotely scientific or legit. They can be fun, but all they show is which fandom has the most people willing to 1) robo-vote and 2) spend hours clicking away. That said, I always want my fandom to "win" them, just because I'm competitive. ;)

Thought the Galavant ratings might be of interest since it was in Once's slot: Galavant (8-8:30pm – 7.9 million and 2.1/6 in AD18-49): At 8pm, ABC’s Galavant jumped over its Adult 18-49 lead-in (+62% – 2.1/6 vs. 1.3/4) to beat its non-NFL-driven competition on NBC by 17% (1.8/5 for Dateline) and CBS by 40% (1.5/4 for Madam Secretary). Excluding only NBC’s Marry Me coming out of The Voice, Galavant is TV’s top-rated comedy debut since black-ish in September – since 9/24/14. In addition, it was the highest-rated Sunday series debut since March – since 3/9/14. Galavant was also up over Once Upon a Time’s most recent airing in the half hour in Total Viewers (+44%) and Adults 18-49 (+24%). It did drop a bit for the second half-hour.

I'm more "confident" of the spell on Fetus!Emma to give her magic -- or perhaps Snowing got Maleficent to write Emma in as the Savior, since Regina got the spell from Maleficent, right? But I would not be surprised in the least if Emma lost her magic for good, because it would be a total A&E move.
