  1. I wish on each of the episodes the realtor or friend would be required to say "maybe you should just stay in the States"
  2. And if she wanted it as a feature, why did she surround it in a busy off-white "marble" countertop? It made the sink & countertop both look dull & dingy. The fancy bathroom with different tiles on the floor, walls and shower pan weren't impressive - white and two shades of beige next to each other made them all look dingy, especially with the mix of different sized squares and rectangles and a 4th set of rectangles on the shower door. Unfortunately Jeff must not have had enough tiles to use only two types, like he did in a previous episode with tiles that didn't look good together. I also don't get the attraction of painting all the interior doors black (or tan, in a previous house) unless you have someone with limited vision who has a hard time finding doors in the hallway. I don't see how the cost of labour, time and paint adds value.
  3. I actually LOLed when they were standing in the backyard and the blonde one was giving one of her clipped yet huffy & puffy declarative speeches and the brunette one goes - "who are you talking to?" Blondie says "I was talking directly to you". Yes, she was 2 'foot' away, but projecting her voice loud enough to be heard in the next county. I agree about the "farmhouse" sink and the B&W tub. Plain white would have been more clean-looking and spa-like. And buyers can choose their favourite colour schemes with towels and accessories.
  4. I think Coyote must have a bad translation app on her phone, starting with "I feel Love" may have been too strong in English and Ed got excited but she was probably saying "like". Her second translated sentence made no sense. Why hasn't Ed bothered to learn Spanish? He'll have to watch the show with her words translated, especially the part about relationships need to be built, over days, weeks, months & years.
  5. Probably a badly aimed botox injection. Lauren had one a few years ago and wore her hair over half her face for several months, around the time there were two Phyllises. Hillary Farr (HGTV Love It or List It) admitted this happened to her and she had to stand sideways and wear her hair over half her face for six months.
  6. I found that Salonpas patches worked for 12 hrs, as advertised, even for an inflamed broken toe, which had been aching so much that I couldn't sleep. With Salonpas I didn't feel a thing, even when walking.
  7. And since nobody has read the book, we don't know what the title "Bad Republican" is supposed to mean. The juxtaposition implies that John McCain was a Bad Republican. Not a good look.
  8. Exactly. And ideally the peninsula is a couple of steps from the door to the garage, a perfect place to set down all the groceries.
  9. And HGTV won't be there to rake the leaves and shovel snow off each of the squares of grass & concrete at different levels. I suspect the grass squares will be gone this winter, or earlier if someone trips & cracks their head open.
  10. Often they put a giant island in the middle of the triangle, destroying the efficiency and people have to walk around the island to get some fruit from the fridge and take it back around the island to wash it.

Growing into her weight is the only way to do it healthfully ... and eating strawberries instead of cookies, donuts & cupcakes helps. And strawberries are cuter since they can cause both sweet and sour reactions.
  12. or maybe she'll seek a 3 or 4 days a week contract
  13. Though Lindsay was the one who pointed out that she was not married to her daughter's father. I wasn't expecting that from a staunch Republican and Joy probably was surprised too, so the joke popped out. Joy wouldn't have "outed" Lindsay; that would have been rude.
  14. I particularly liked his comment about her during John McCain's campaign (that she got booted off of): "She was a 24 year old 2 year old." Now she's proving she is a 37.5 year old 2 year old. Soon Libs will be more mature than her mother.
  15. My half-aunt found out that her father wasn't her father but was pleased to find out that my grandfather was her father, since she knew and adored him as a child. She was 78 when she got her DNA results back and anyone who would have known anything was long gone, so we had to reconstruct everything from DNA and proximity. She literally lived on the other side of the tracks from my father & grandparents. Grandpa was apparently the life of the party, but died when I was an infant. He & her mother knew they were her parents, but never told her and we don't know if my grandmother, father or uncle ever knew.
  16. And why does she feel she "owes" them to her customers? Because they are overpaying for crappy clothing? On a hot day in a delivery truck the marshmallow in the treats probably melts and fuses into the polyester.
  17. No true "biker" would be caught dead in those things!
  18. And it is always the same matching toothy grins and squinty eyes over >4 years of selfies, which adds to the artificiality.
  19. I wondered if it was because Sharon was so honoured when Tessa asked Sharon to walk her down the aisle since Crystal couldn't be there, but now she can.
  20. Adam should have put up a portrait of himself in the two days he had the chance, and secured it to the wall with so many long screws that it would not be easy to remove. Personally, I don't think I could stand having a greater-than-life-size portrait of myself or anybody staring at me while I work.
  21. The Hollywood hat lady should have called Brett Waterman to fix her Spanish home, instead of Alison with her ENGLISH iron circular staircase, MOROCCAN tiles on a non-Spanish fireplace and FRENCH something or other as well as other random non-Spanish stuff.
  22. Though part of her would like being mentioned so she could feel relevant (even for the wrong reason).
  23. That is exactly what she looked like, overplaying the pathetic (and incorrect) use of a cane.
  24. I suspect they did it more than twice. Janelle said they had moved ~30 times during their marriage, that is about once a year. Their time in Vegas was probably the most stable of the fambly's lives.
