  1. There was always a side of lightheartedness to this show, along with the dysfunction. Amy & Michael were cute together, we watched them realize their dream of a family & a home of their own. Chris & Britney - solid good people. Tammy being Tammy. Amanda - large & in charge. So Amanda gets divorced. Then out of the blue (& immediately after the birth of their youngest) Amy wants a divorce. And boom after a quickie marriage, Tammy wants a divorce. The fame & money from the TV show came at a very high price, especially for those little kids. There was a rumor that Michael wanted his boys' on camera time to be limited but of course Amy did not agree.
  2. Don't know about you, but I wouldn't be wanting to meet up with a pissed off Amanda in a dark alley.......
  3. This show has run it's course - even if it does come back I'm out.
  4. Just saw in the news that Tammy's ex (or soon to be ex??) Caleb has died in the nursing facility in Ohio. https://nypost.com/2023/07/01/1000-lb-sisters-star-tammy-slatons-husband-caleb-willingham-dead-at-40/
  5. That ending was totally BOGUS. Clearly all along, Clement & Christian were far superior in their execution of every challenge. I don't give a damn about anyone's personal life and/or sob story. Total BS.
  6. Geez what a coincidence..... Amanda divorces a Halterman & then Amy son divorces his brother! Amanda holds a lot of sway in the family hierarchy. Just sayin'. But it's ok because I guess Amy got what she wanted out of Michael - two children.
  7. LOL I was marveling at the filters too. I've heard that on TikTok it's as easy as a click. I heard a rumour that the last season & upcoming one were filmed one right after the other, so looks like regardless of the time they air the next season, it will likely feature Tammy setting up her new home, her weight loss, and of course Amy's marital woes. If it's a real life storyline there has to be some discretion for legal reasons. For the kids' sake I hope it's manufactured show drama. Like Tammy's wedding......
  8. Hot damn, nothing better than spending Easter Sunday at Walmart & McDonald's! I feel sorry for those poor kids, growing up without a live-in dad with Amy & Tammy. They'll both need gastric bypasses by the time they're 18. Not to mention that vaping produces toxic smoke & does Amy still smoke cigarettes? Absolute abuse. I truly truly hope Michael & Amy can reconcile their differences so these kids have a better shot. Sad sad sad.
  9. I'm not casting aspersions on either side here, we don't know the truth, but as they say - there's one side, there's the other side - and there's the truth.
  10. If Michael had "words" with a sister, you can bet it was Amanda, who just divorced Michael's brother. More children from a broken home....what a shame.
  11. Amy apparently got what she wanted out of Michael....KIDS. Maybe Michael is also upset that the show set him up as a uninvolved dad by their (possibly intentionally deceptive) editing.
  12. Amanda & Misty did let Caleb know they wouldn't advise any BS, Amanda asked him if he would sign a prenup. Betcha he didn't though. I was curious as to why Brittany was an attendant, what's up with that? A far as the nice suoersized outfit that Amy got for him to wear, seems Caleb is so large that it didn't fit. I wish one of the sisters had asked him when the last time he walked was. I agree with Amy when she says he hasn't seen his dick in years. Many many years......
  13. I'm sure Caleb watched all the episodes & knew full well that Tammy was so desperate for love that all he'd have to do is ply her with a little sweet talk & she'd fall in days. Which she did. Why the rush? What if he never loses weight, qualifies for surgery or gets the trach removed? Weird.....
  14. I truly hope this is manufactured drama, but maybe Michael's just had enough of doing the show & doesn't want his kids to be growing up in front of millions. If so, I totally get it. He never seemed really comfortable with all the cameras. And in addition to bitching about caring for the 2 kids (she intentionally conceived), she's bitching about the stress of filming too? Then don't do it! Put your family first if it's a problem! In the event this divorce story is real & sticks, then it's a terrible shame. By the looks of it, none of the 5 siblings grew up with a father, so not that Michael couldn't still be a great dad, but it would be a damn tragedy if those boys won't have a happily married mom & dad.
  15. So IF the separation story is true, and that's a big IF, because I'm thinking more in terms of martial spat (and who hasn't had some of those) for upcoming season drama, then did disabled legally blind morbidly obese Amy maybe bamboozle her sister's brother-in-law into marrying her so she could have the children she always desperately wanted? Who's gonna drive her ass around anywhere she wants to go? All we've ever seen is a very doting husband. She had both those kids against medical advice, she actually tried like hell to get pregnant. So now every damn time I hear her bitch & moan & cry about how is she gonna do it, it's so stressful, she doesn't want to be a bad mother, wah, wah, wah, it pisses me off. She's damn lazy & always has been. Look at the condition of her house before she had any kids. Michael worked, sorry but that was HER job to keep her home clean. And I'm bet that every time she asked him to do something, he always did it. Hell, I want to give him an award just for pushing 650+ lbs around. Anyway, enough ranting from me, I feel better now. LOL 🤣
  16. Is Kentucky a community property state? Because I definitely think Caleb's looking to cash in on Tammy somehow. He's seen the show, he certainly knew her history & that with a little sweet talk she was in the bag. I don't like the smirk. She & Amy get $$ from YouTube, $$ from the show, and that married pimp from Vegas (Phil?) was looking to make bank on her, maybe personal appearances or feeder porn? Caleb may never qualify for weight loss surgery, may never get the trach out. What then? Face it, Tammy will never be self sufficient, ever. Not only can she not care for him, she can't care for herself. She's got nothing to do all day, she sure knows how to get around a computer, yet she can't be bothered to even look at wedding dresses or decorations online? Makes her sister with 2 babies do it. She thinks her family has an obligation to take orders from her, that's between them & her. We know damn well that a lot of the burden will probably fall on Michael, as usual. But I do hope Tammy & Caleb are happy & good company for each other. There are always going to be many major medical bumps in the road for both of them ahead, a lifetime of them.
  17. It's all in how they choose to edit the footage they take....they can make anything appear to be what they want it to be. I think they're setting up some future season's drama situation.
  18. Filthy house full of kids with no obvious involved fathers all developing weight issues of their own. Nice. Enabler obese mom. A stepdad who is going way way above & beyond trying to help the situation. Perhaps he's trying to keep Stephanie around so he & his wife don't have to raise the kids, and I don't blame him). A whiney sad sack bad attitude b*tch who won't do jack sh*t to help herself but somehow blames Dr Now for not recognizing how she (didn't) make changes. Sad he wasn't inspiring enough for her LOL. As someone mentioned, when they start filming, the show doesn't know who will be successful & who won't be. But it almost seems as though Dr Now is showing us that there are some folks who cannot be helped no matter how dire the consequences, how sick they are, how painful life is, or who else has to suffer.....their desire to eat is more important than anything else in their lives. Insidious mental disorder. (And YES I too have wondered often why these folks just can't get motel rooms where they're not in elevators or struggling down long hallways, it's not as though most are accustomed to the finer things in life LOL. So I assume it's about the film crew, since they need to be in same hotel to be readily available to get those breaking the bed or falling on the floor scenes).
  19. Ask what do we think is up with the whirlwind courtship? Is Tammy going to be Caleb's road to fame & fortune? A way out of his nursing home captivity? 🤔
  20. Did I mishear something, because I believe I heard Ashley confirm with Dr Proctor just before being sedated that he was doing a duodenal switch. Maybe this is what a revision surgery is technically called? 🤷‍♀️ If they're zoning allows for it how much you wanna bet that Tina & Jon put a trailer on their property for those 2 last loads to live in & she'll STILL be hanging out with Tina all day eating & getting rides everywhere she wants. 🤣🤣.
  21. Heaven forbid mom expects help with something that could take away from gaming time!! Seriously I'll bet living with those 2 could be really aggravating & frustrating. Meghan is a hoarder & John is L.A.Z.Y. Well they both are, actually.
  22. Wasn't this the final episode of the season or did I misunderstand something?
  23. Meghan is a child living in a fantasy world of zero responsibility. Tina is a frigging LOSER & a doormat & she & Meghan deserve each other. She probably was never going to ask her to leave anyway. Yeah I agree, why can't they just do Vanessa's arms for now.
