I have a premonition that something bad is gonna happen on this epic hell trip. What did this poor guy ever do in life that he deserves this torture?

I have to give a lot of credit to the step-parents who "inherit" their spouse's super morbidly obese child (or drug addicted kids) & has to go hell trying to get them well. And Stephanie doesn't seem overly grateful to the guy that inherited her.

Favorite line of the episode: "if my family wants to have a relationship with me, they're going to have to listen to me".

No he isn't. Let's not forget that Tammy lived with him & Amy, and my god we've seen the horrible nasty bitch she can be. And after working all day he probably would come home & then had to drive to pick them up meals & snacks. Yes I pushed my small mother up a grassy slope once & it was nearly impossible, I can't believe the strength it must take to push 600+ lbs.

I'm only watching to see Meghan & Jon get kicked out of Tina's house & to see her reaction when her 3 "friends" vastly outdo her in weight loss. Renaissance wedding 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just imagine. Five siblings & four have already had gastric bypass surgery.

Oh I'll bet that TLC is blowing this leaked divorce story all out of proportion so people tune in. I'm guessing what happened is that the spoiled & lazy Amy has a fight with Michael (say what you will but he has a job & seems to give her whatever she wants) & in a snit she leaves & stays with Tammy & hubby (who likely have an aide) for a few days. He probably had to drive her over to their house too LOL. With the creative editing I could see it coming in the episode last night when they set the tone that Michael was lazy because the house wasn't cleaned when she got home, and apparently ignored his crying children & crying wife at the BBQ. It's all a set-up. At least that's my theory 😜

We all were thinking it, weren't we.

Well things are seemingly going great for Wess & it's not even 9:30 yet. Can't help but be very suspicious..... we've been burned so many times.

OMG the never-ending angst, I don't watch the show but even the commercials are exhausting.

Dad such a non-enabler that when he tells Dr. Now that he needs to step up & help Wess more, Dr Now tells him that Wess has to figure out how to do it himself. That's an unusual family dynamic for this show! And looks like Wess did figure it out. Nice.

Glad Tammy made weight & was able to go further with cardiology & pulmonary testing. She doesn't like the therapist but lacks the self control to just talk her way nicely through a weekly session even though she knows that therapist must approve her & reports back to the surgeon after every session. Either just suck it up, grit your teeth & do what you need to, or request another therapist. She's got such a volatile temper I don't know anyone could cohabitate with her, and we know she's been kicked out of every sibling's home. So of course she'll get her surgery. But let's be realistic. Yes Tammy will lose some weight, gastric bypass malabsorption will insure that. Amy basically eats whatever she wants & she's maybe a tad under 300 lbs, down from her top weight of 400. Maybe she'll lose another 50 lbs max if she really tries. I'm guessing Tammy may get down to between 400-450. Could lose more early but she'll go back up a little. Realistic expectations. Look no further than Amanda, years after her bypass & she's up to 300. Even Dr Now's poster girl from the very first episode Melissa Morris got down to 150 but gained over 100 lbs eventually.

Meghan is spoiled & likes to be taken care of, like a child, no responsibilities. Tina treats her like a child, taking her by the hand when she goes into hysterics because the Dr. called her out, really Tina? Never had a job from what I can tell. Also like a child, she blows all her extra money on crap.

I'm sure we all had initial doubts when we heard BF Daune (oh sorry, her "fiancee" as she was quick to correct those who called him her BF) was a grateful ex-con she sprung from the pokey & a chubby chaser to boot. But his look of disappointment, frustration & disgust every time the scale went up was just precious. I especially enjoyed his repeated "I told you's". Guy was trying.

Meghan wants BF to be more driven, like she is????? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 As in driven to shop, driven to hoard, driven to be content to live in your friend's basement?

Yeah but it will be easy to lop that flap off & she's probably gonna look great, assuming she keeps up the great work.
