Basic advertising 101, create some problem you didn't know existed and then sell the "solution". -

But they reran three more MST3000 episodes. They only started showing MST3000 in Jan and they are already rerunning episodes. ????? Did they only buy the rights to a dozen episodes? -

When I was little I got chased by a swan. My father was like, "What do you think a swan's going to do to you?" I said I didn't want to find out. -

Although apparently people were harmed using it, I always thought talcum powder was probably the most harmless thing in the world. Who knew? I have a theory that phlegm causes cancer, but only if swallowed in small amounts over a long period of time. I'm still waiting for the lawyer ad for that. -

This is what used to happen to kids who got into Harvard (or other elite schools), they went from being the smartest kid in school to being just a kid in school. I knew a number of kids who never got over this. -

Along with Col. Sanders and Elizabeth Taylor. Maybe an idea for the next "Walking Dead" series? -
I remember his TV shows and seeing him on late night talk shows , and I never thought he had an unusually large proboscis. I think they could have done without it.

In a sense Cereal for any meal other than breakfast is like "Bachelor Chow" from Futurama. I always thought you could market that product. https://futurama.fandom.com/wiki/Bachelor_Chow -

Back in the early 2000s (I believe) cereal restaurants sprang up all over. So when it was too much effort to pour cereal and milk in a bowl, you could go to one of those. Not sure if they are still around. -

The cable guide shows that "Route 66" is still on the schedule. It's typical of Z Living that their guide is wrong. Tomorrow's episode should be "The Beryllium Eater" with Edgar Buchanan as a grizzled old prospector who finds his fortune but the local mine owner wants to grab it anyway he can. Buz and Todd have to save the day. Inger Stevens plays the mine owners wife. -

If the schedule isn't lying Z Living has dropped MST3000 (late Saturday they already reran episodes they showed earlier in Jan. And also dropped "Route 66". Typical Z Living move. -
It was remade in 1974 with Lucille Ball and Bea Arthur.

Our local public TV channel ran the documentary "Happy Birthday, Mr Bean." Nice to see all them today.

Of course almost everyone has heard the word "dummkopf." Apparently the first recorded use of the word was in 1809 by Washington Irving, so its actually an Americanism. -

That wasn't the girl's character's name (it was Mei-Tung), but it would have been a great joke if she was Joyce Kim. -

Possibly because it's (I believe) a special international program and English is a universal language. I assume the class is made up of students from many countries. I liked that finally someone turned the tables on Sheldon and put him down for East Texas Tech, like he has done for Princeton and MIT. It's about time. -
