I could watch T’Challa fly at Wendy and her reaction to it on a loop. And the editors, after Wendy left Monique’s bedroom before dinner, put in T’Challa’s squawk with closed captioning, “She crazy.” Hilarious!

I was impressed by Malia’s handling of Pete. Sandy should have had her there when she was having her discussion with him since Malia is his direct supervisor. While I think it’s ridiculous to have someone else unpack your suitcase (especially for a 1?2? night charter), Jess pouting about it made me roll my eyes.

Dana Sue is incredibly unlikeable. I like Helen, though, while Maddie is just...meh.

Later in the series (I think it may have been in season 4, but I marathoned the episodes so cannot recall), Zoe returned to NYC and stayed with her mother. The mom threw a party in her home and had a few of Zoe’s old friends, but mostly people to try to woo her back to NYC during and after her pregnancy. A plastic surgeon who specialized in lady parts, a pre-school director who encouraged her to get the baby’s name on the list for his school pre-birth due to the waiting list. Wade does come to NYC, too. It was just the one episode.

So even in his dreams he’s an ashhole!

What did tanner wake up screaming/dreaming about? At first, I thought he was saying a mouse, but the editors put in “mi....” Anybody know what he was saying or if it was just unintelligible jibber jabber?

I, too, got sucked into the first season today. Kat was a mess*, but Sam was truly awful. What an entitled, spoiled, smug brat she was. Adrienne did seem like a total dud as the chief stew, but Aleks was truly horrible. He lied during that tip meeting and said docking CJ and Sam’s tips was Lee’s opinion, when he was the one that pushed for it! And then, when Adrienne was talking to Sam about her attitude, he went back on that and gave her the full tip! Horrible leadership. *The disgusting treatment of Kat by Adrienne’s “friends” was beyond the pale. Adrienne should have listened to Ben who told her it was completely inappropriate.

I couldn’t figure out why João didn’t call Jack on his radio for help. Not that it would’ve really mattered since Jack would have either been MIA or made up some excuse.

Hear me out... Josiah totally looked liked Emily (Ben’s flame a couple of seasons ago and maybe they’re still together?) in the face...with short brown hair...beginning when he asked Kate if he should bring out Chambord in the gold suit. I know it sounds crazy, but now I can’t unsee it! And also? DAYUM Josiah!

And there was kissing in the middle of the movie! Loved this one.

Yes! She first lied about it with Ross and then with Lee. I do think the music was ridiculous and made Kate and Josiah look petty, but Caroline is delusional.

LOL Also...yes! He sounded awful (and this is from someone whose own mother laughed at her when singing “Happy Birthday” so I know of whence I speak!) Whatever Gregg was singing when going into commercial break got me right in the feels. Awful that he’s going through this.

What job hasn’t Delores had? Realtor, corrections officer, surgical assistant, house flipper, gym owner...good Lord.

I am not sure how to share a Twitter post, but this is what Kate wrote last night:

Caroline and Chandler are a match made in heaven. They both enjoy sharing desserts, smoking, and skulking in hallways while eavesdropping on co-workers.

What a shame that OPRF lost such a dedicated and passionate educator. I would love to know what Podolner said/did at that meeting. How frustrating it must have been for Jessica Stovall to be lumped in with him when her ideas had merit all on their own; it was her program! It kind of came across to me that he was too aggressive and forceful and, let’s face it, probably didn’t let Jessica get a word in edgewise when she should have been the one to lead the discussion.

Can’t they use Ridgeland Commons or Rehm (maybe Rehm only...it’s been 30+ years since I’ve been there [my goodness I’ve gotten old!], but they have high diving platforms.) I have no idea the intricacies of what all it would entail from insurance to transportation to whatever else, but seems they could use this money elsewhere. 100% am saying that with zero skin in the game, of course...and, btw, my local HS has no pool. I’ve been watching this with my high schooler and we’re both in awe of all the programs and clubs that are available. It’s wonderful!

I’m surprised Kate didn’t appreciate Caroline’s note more. It was dripping with one of Kate’s favorite things: passive-aggression.

I lived in Oak Park when I was a kid; had NO idea that was a thing. Interesting what the social worker (?) said about the 1:1 aide for Terrence and, if he was white, he would have already had one. I have heard from friends that getting schools to abide by IEPs is an exercise in futility, despite it being the law that accommodations must be made. Then to have racial disparity, as well, ... disheartening and eye opening.
