Never mind. Already covered.

I'm choosing to remain positive. Many times present-day Oliver makes the opposite choice that flashback Oliver did. If flashback Oliver sees a happy Laurel with Tommy, maybe the anger pushes him to embrace the darker parts of himself. When present-day Oliver comes back to Felicity, who's been utterly destroyed by his death, maybe that finally pushes him to embrace the "light" (cheesy, I know). I don't see the writers/EPs wanting Felicity to look bad, so I don't think she's going to be moving on with Ray in the 8-10 weeks where Oliver is "dead." Now I suppose we could time jump ahead (and skip the time jump over the break between seasons) to put Felicity with Ray and Laurel in the BC costume, but that would unnecessarily complicate the timeline, so I'm not sure they would do that.

USD POLL : Best CW Couple? (You can vote for one option) http://www.spoilertv.com/2014/12/usd-poll-best-cw-couple.html -
Yeah, I'm not watching 10 until I read comments because it's going to be sad and heartbreaking and awful. Then Guggenheim used the word "Canary" to describe 11, so that's a big nope. Not sure about 12 but 13 is literally named Canaries, so that's another big nope. By the time the show gets to the point where I want to watch again, it'll be March and I won't even be home on Wednesday nights, so boo!

Yes, it was probably a combination of many things. Tragic. He's in peak physical shape now, and I would be expecting to see him shirtless a lot for the next couple of episodes if, you know, what just happened last episode hadn't happened. Oh well.
-
I thought apinknightmare said something about SA requesting to be shirtless less because of the time that it takes to apply everything, but with a bajillion threads in here, I'll never ever find that comment again, so I could be completely wrong.
-
Well, the writers do like their parallels, so maybe flashback Oliver pining for Laurel will be offset with present-day Oliver hooking up with Felicity.
-
From the Spoilers Only thread, "we're hearing the trio might go more than a few episodes without their hooded leader." Look, I realize that from spoilers and such, but do they really think that the best way to get people to watch is to advertise that Oliver will be missing for several episodes? I honestly see this backfiring on them, but that's just me.
-
I'm surprised that the tattoos and scars only take 90 minutes to put on. I was expecting something much worse since apparently they have limited the shirtless SA scenes because of the time it takes to apply everything. I'm hoping that we get plenty of shirtless scenes in the new year and that Felicity is present (and up close and personal) for many of them :)

I'm just going to prepare myself that Oliver in episode 13 is actually a Vertigo-induced hallucination. I'm just going to assume that right now but I'm expecting some rage-posts from people who don't have a clue this is coming, if that's what actually happens.

Since episode 14 is featuring flashbacks of HK Oliver in Starling City, it would make sense story-wise for this to be the episode where present-day Oliver returns to Starling City, but man I don't really want to wait that long for him to come back. Ugh.
-
I have to imagine that it would be ratings suicide to keep Oliver away during episodes 10-13, and then have 14 be a flashback heavy episode. I imagine we'll see Oliver in episode 12, Uprising (which can mean "rising from the grave", or "resurrection." It can also mean "rising from bed" so I'm still holding onto hope of comatose Oliver). I think that will be a brief scene at the end of the episode, and then he'll return full-time in episode 13.
-
Ugh, I totally forgot about our yearly flashback episode. I'm screaming obscenities in my head right now. Is this my reward for tolerating four Laurel/Roy episodes in a row? Why do you hate me Guggenheim?

The scene with a Jeep full of multiple assassins and various weaponry making its way up the mountain must have ended up on the cutting room floor.
-
And you know, that pesky fact that Oliver is a male and Thea is a female. But whatever, show. Hahaha.

Heartaches, Bromances, True Love and Team Arrow: the Relationships Thread

So, for both Oliver/Felicity kisses, Oliver had on a black shirt with a grey V-neck underneath, and Felicity wore fuchsia (probably just a coincidence since those are colors that they both frequently wear). But the next time I see that color combo on the two of them, I'll be sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for kiss # 3. -
If Oliver has other superheroes helping him, that could give him some time off, but would Felicity really get a break? She provides all sorts of technical support for the team, so she's pretty crucial to their missions. I mean, with Laurel asking Felicity to "Google his phone" and Roy checking facebook on Felicity's computers (OK, that didn't happen), those two are doomed on their own. They need Felicity. Ray would have all of that covered though, as he's a genius. But basically, I'm just thinking what's the point of Oliver having time off if he can't spend it with Felicity :)

Hart of Dixie returns tonight, for anyone who's interested. I'm actually kind of happy that the annoying love triangle stuff is probably finally over because Also, Grimm begins airing on TNT on January 7th. They will be showing three episodes in a row every Wednesday. So I guess if you're giving up on Arrow, there's something to try (I gave up on Grimm after like season 2, so I'm not sure how things are going now).
-
Well, if Oliver is going to accept help from other superheroes, he can just send BC Laurel to defeat Ra's. "Who's next? Oh, it looks like you're up Laurel. Good luck. Felicity and I are going out to dinner. Talk to you after to see how things went."
-
The whole point of Oliver "dying" should be that this is the final push he needs to fully embrace his humanity. He should come back, start fighting to regain his company, fight to free Thea from Malcolm's clutches, and finally jump headfirst into a romantic relationship with Felicity. But you know, with magical brainwashing herbs and shit, who knows.

I think that if Oliver comes back and pushes people away because he's determined to be only the Arrow, I will chuck my TV out the window. FFS, how many times can they keep going back to that one? You get a second chance at life, and instead of embracing that, taking advantage of every single moment you have, and being happy, you'd rather continue to be miserable and wallow in your manpain. No. Just no. I think that the EPs must be hoping that episodes 10-13 go well because the plan for the rest of their season seems to hinge on people accepting other heroes besides The Arrow. I mean, I guess they have some flexibility to change which heroes will be helping Arrow out if the audience reacts badly to certain ones. Personally, I'm not sure how this works because Oliver is a control freak, and people with that sort of personality trait don't just wake up one day and decide to relinquish control. So I have a hard time imagining Oliver chilling at home with Felicity while Laurel is out saving the city (hahahaha).
