  1. I'm temporarily back again! Hurray? I figured I may as well see Jane's exit storyline, and being as I just got my tonsils out on Monday, the timing is good to watch again, at least for now. But I have questions: Alexis just fell on Julian's dick right away? I didn't even know Julian was supposed to be dead, but I did know they've had a hella messed up relationship over the last year involving various murder attempts and some alcoholism and who knows what else. So...that was a weird scene. Tracy and her painting look fun, and I missed out on a Tracy/Laura buddy caper?! Worth going back to watch those scenes? And this actor isn't the real Lord Ashton, right? He doesn't seem the same from what I remember from his last stint. Is Duke's kid still around? I always call him Finn in my head, but that's Michael Easton's millionth character, right? Is Anna done being sniveling and pathetic yet? It was getting annoying, and she's my current fave. What is a Lucas? For me, Carly is at her best when she is off the canvas. At least I'm not returning to her and Sonny happy again. *gag*
  2. Ah, after reading that last paragraph, I fully welcome you into our droves. Wentworth, dude. That man is so hot. I yelled, "Noooo, not his face!" when he took a beating. Clearly, the writers don't know that they need to preserve the eye candy for our viewing pleasure. Somehow, I assumed Michael had the pills in like a shred of plastic in his mouth? Because I just assumed he found a shred of plastic somewhere, because he's Michael, and I didn't even have to see it to imagine its existence. Ideal viewer, right here. And I laughed when Linc basically decided to take on an ISIL contigent singlehandedly to save the Sheik of Lights' daughter and a few bonus girls. Also, Sheik of Light? Not one of Michael's brightest codes, but he was trying to communicate it to Linc, so...
  3. That's my guess. He didn't act very guilty and/or on top of things during that scene, but I found it super odd she didn't kill him.
  4. #truth And would it be Prison Break still if it did break a hundred? Ha, a very good point! I look forward to nine weeks of unexplainable insanity, plotholes, and so many pretty men. I have always watched for the latter. I will watch again for the latter. Plus, Sara is proving pretty badass already.
  5. I am rooting for Leith going to find Greer because the Claude relationship is still assuredly not working for me. Luc seems like a winner! Stay with him. Also, I am hoping for an ending that doesn't go with the historically tragic execution of Mary. Maybe a Mary seeing the future of Britain united under her child with the help of Nostradamus?
  6. Catching up this evening, and I loved the silliness of vampire Charles. Guess they felt they needed an emo king. Glad Leith did survive and glad it's too late for him and Claude, because that was a pointless courtship. Surprised the Crown Matrimonial came up already! I am at a loss to guess how they will end the series, how fast it will fly down Mary's timeline. James is the hottest man on this show for sure. Also, I can't even remember if Bash died along the way...I may not be the most fervent viewer.
  7. Definitely jokey. It's silly, but it's not like I won't click if they release more...
  8. I haven't watched since at least September...and just watched the last 3 episodes today and was pleasantly surprised as well! A Q meeting to save the hospital? Count me in! I don't feel like I need to know anything that preceded it -- Qs to the rescue! Laura gave a good pep talk, by which I mean Tracy-shaming talk, too. No one should ever mourn Connie Falconeri. Cakes nationwide are still rejoicing that they no longer need to live in fear. We can always mourn the loss of Kate Howard's hair, however. For my sanity, I am back to calling Franco "Frahnco" in my mind so I can stomach him as an actual character I could ever root for. Liz seems into Frahnco, and he into her, though probably to the extent that he cares about nothing else, right? That's how Frahnco rolls. I tuned in just in time for Dillon and Kiki to do the deed? My timing is fantastic! Honestly surprised it took this long post-Morgan's death. My inability to watch these characters mourn Moregun is why I just stopped pressing play on my Hulu watchlist for this show. I did not want to subject myself to that. So Nina's married to Valentin, who is father to the kid Nathan's ex was trying to pass off as his? Alright, cool. Valentin seems like a good actor. I feel caught up and ready to watch again! But I'm not making promises.
  9. Things I did not need: Rayna in another car accident. And yeah, I have no feels for Scarlet at all. She's being a spiteful little bitch - I can only read this as Scarlet thinking she's found her wild side and that means being vindictive to Gunnar. She's living out the character Damien was trying to get on film. Yuck.
  10. I think it's amazing that their talking head scenes keep featuring them explaining why they didn't believe the crazy things happening to each other while crazy things are also happening to them. Like, what? Once you've seen a man scalped by witches in the woods, you should not have a hard time believing your sister in law DIDN'T throw all the knives at the ceiling. I think I can confidently say that's similarities enough to claim inspiration! No way it's not related to the real-life story you shared.
  11. Now this is worth celebrating!!!!! The actress is sweet, but Sabrina has always been a waste of space.
  12. Mine are great at bugs...and mice...and rodents of all shapes and sizes and yes they bring them inside. It's, um, a mixed blessing. What continues to confound me is that ants crawling in ears has just plain ceased to be a concern. Did I miss something about that no longer being a threat? Loved Laurel and Gareth this episode. I still want way more of the alien research team. And I'm still hella creeped out by Luke's wife now.
  13. Ah, this forum exists! Caught up from 1 to here in the past day! I had no idea this show was on the air, but I am loving it and making converts. The bug sex....AHHH! And the cast is fantastic. Glad to see more of the dude from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. How on earth did this end up on CBS? Oh yeah, the pedigree. How did the Kings end up making this show?!? It's like a present just for me.
  14. I legit lol'd at this because I legit thought it was a joke about how often Julian is shirtless. ....figured it out a few minutes later.
  15. Wow, I did not expect Ernestine to kill Pearly Mae. Obviously, Pearly Mae didn't either. Zeke went out like a complete badass, though I feel robbed that he didn't get to make it farther than that. I agree that Rosalie's just kind of there so far, but the characters that surround her are great.
  16. Just caught up, and dost my eyes deceive me, or is that SUNLIGHT on General Hospital?! Did someone kidnap the show and send it to the coast of Bolivia? Other than the inexplicable return of Nina's baby rabies (why couldn't she just be happy and horny about making Crimson hers?) and the completely boring reveal of Plywood's Claudette backstory (his shedded bark?), I'm enjoying the show. Haydelee and Nikolas have the same MacBeth qualities to them I was enjoying in Liz and Nik about this time last year. Sam and Jason are kind of cute though I wish Jason had slammed the door on Carly's face for insisting Jason talk to Sonny (NULOCH LIVES). I kind of like the awkward scheming Sonny and Anna dynamic. The Quartermaines are A+ everything. I think the Bi Katrina story is being handled well. I'm intrigued by whatever crazy ass experiment Dr. Michael Easton is running on himself. Really, I'm only concerned that there's probably no way we will see Carlos without seeing Sabrina too. I'd like to be spared that if I can. /optimist out
  17. Saw Race yesterday and Carice van Houten's acting as Leni Riefenstahl was great. But man, those filmmakers made some incredibly strange choices, such as essentially using Darth Vader -type cartoonish villain music whenever Joseph Goebbels was onscreen and having Riefenstahl be portrayed merely as a filmmaker annoyed that Goebbels kept trying to call the shots over her work. All this...in a film about Jessie Owens. O-o
  18. The idea of Dr. Michael Easton being either Stavros or Stefan is ridiculous to me. I know he's no spring chicken, but he's way too young for either role. The idea of Dr. Michael Easton being either Stavros or Stefan is ridiculous to me. I was going to say he's way too young for the role, but whoa, Robert Kelker-Kelly is only 51? I guess he's not too young for unfrozen Stavros, but I still think a newer Cassadine would be far more successful.
  19. It is creepy. But honestly I'm not actually against student/teacher relationships on tv, but this one just didn't work on any level. I think it was probably mostly because it was obvious from day one that the writers had no idea whatsoever what they were gonna do with them. First Kristina was acting all fearful and mad over Parker and then she was getting all googly eyed and smiley over her; first Parker was acting like a straight-up predator and then she was acting all mother-like. Such a mess from the start. I actually found those Th/Fri scenes pretty nuanced. No, there was no good lead up and I bet there won't be great follow-up, either, but I thought they did a good job of showing how complicated it can be when you feel something for someone but know that acting on it would be 100% wrong. That doesn't make the feelings go away, and I liked that Parker was so conflicted. Kristina seems more conflicted over the very idea of being bi, and I like that too. She's in the oftimes traumatic stage of coming to terms with having a queer identity and never having realized it before. I think Lexi captured that intense confusion quite well.
  20. Thanks, guys. If such a thing is actually possible, I now have a firmer grasp of Hadychlee Budig's supposed mental state.
