  1. Sam sounds like she's had just enough therapy to spit psychobabble into her victims' faces. What a horrible, delusional woman. She will never get it.
  2. They've put this up on the fb page: We appreciate the opportunity given to 240sweet to be featured on television. We understand that everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion, however, we would like to remind everyone that television is meant to entertain first and foremost. In order to gratify viewers and increase ratings, portrayals of those featured can be misleading. We truly value our co-workers and are grateful for the work they do. Our customers are our livelihood and we appreciate those that have shown loyalty since the show aired. We look forward to the opportunities that we currently have and coming up. -240sweet Owners
  3. I really did not like Joan and her crude humor in the later years of Fashion Police. Just the fashion, please. I'll get my dildo jokes elsewhere. So I'm really hoping that's not where they're trying to steer Cho, but it's seeming more and more like that's what they're aiming for.
  4. It will be interesting to see what the results are of Robert the II's DNA. Plenty of sketchy "persons of interest" though.
  5. And they plant a tree with every purchase. How wonderful. That kind of schtick just annoys the fuck out of me.
  6. pasdetrois, he did say "houses." I rewound because the detective watching from the other room jumped on it, and I was like, "Hold the phone." Sounded to me like the guy was making a general statement, not particular to Eugenie's house. Maybe his old boss is lying about how often the other guy had been there and his statement about Eugenie peeking at him to put the focus elsewhere. Who knows.
  7. Unfortunately, I have to agree with y'all. I really wanted to like this, but there's just so much wtf. Like the Robert guy. So apparently good friends helped Eugenie get ready for this mystery date, after the fact they felt like they got her ready for her murder, and they never told the cops during the original investigation? The dog thing was just annoying. I was thinking the whole time, "It's a dog. We all know it's a dog."
  8. "Yes, Jaxson, you use all of that fabric. All of it!" Zach made me lol with that comment. When the designers ask each other their opinions, I always wonder how tempted they are to just say, "Yes, it's fabulous," even if it's hideous. But these designers all seem so sweet and supportive, they may try to be honest but diplomatic about it.
  9. Maybe that's it, itainttippithebird. But why make such a point of it? Doesn't seem like such a big deal to me.
  10. Ditto, too many people commenting. I love when Brad gives a little bit of insight into the fashion, like the Alexander McQueen "shipwreck" dress that Runi Moro (whatever the hell, sorry) was wearing. More of that, please, and less housewives and comedians.
  11. They keep saying it's shot in real time, whatever the hell that means. I thought real time was, well, real time. This seems to cover a span of time, not one hour in the life of. Anyway, I'm definitely interested, even though it feels very scripted (shots of conversations in front of burning cane fields, etc.). But I'm in for a while.
  12. Texas teens in the '90s maybe? Anyway...
  13. Did anyone see Shadow of Doubt? I really think the narrator is the same one from Disappeared. I liked it just for that alone. And it made me miss Disappeared so much. I kept waiting for the little gong sound. Anyway, I thought it was well done, not cheesy at all, but I know it's been covered on another series because I remembered the story.
  14. I really enjoyed the show, except for the sob stories. I didn't even hate Kanye. I figured the tie-in was KK and Ryan. Doesn't he produce her show? Maybe they just happened to be in town at the same time. I thought pink guitar lady is probably hot poop in the worship leader circuit and that that song was a big hit when she performed it in church, especially with the teens. She mentioned something about never being good enough. Not sure what that was about, but she's probably overshadowed by the hubs a lot. And maybe it's just me, but when he was gushing over Celine Dion ... I don't know. Maybe wife has bigger issues on the horizon than not making American Idol.
  15. I didn't notice that, but geez, how many times can you have a show about a crime committed 20, 30 years ago that goes unsolved until the cold case unit tests the DNA and gets a match? I guess this was a little more interesting because the guy they were sure did it was exonerated. Thank God that prosecutor wouldn't charge him because I bet he would have been convicted on the eyewitness testimony.
  16. I've caught up on the last couple episodes of A Crime to Remember. I haven't really been enjoying it this season like I did last season. The one about the woman who killed her husband seemed so draggy and slow. The only thing that caught my eye was her husband and the prostitute in a 69 position in bed. Sweet baby Jesus! I've never even seen that on any of ID's most ridiculously sex-soaked series. I was so scandalized that I had to rewind and watch a couple of times to make sure of what I was seeing - lol. Anyway, the one about the Texas teens was a lot more engrossing. That girl was ahead of her time. I think the thing this series has taught me is that there's nothing new under the sun. I always think of the first half of the 20th century as being so innocent and pristine, but I guess that's because I've mostly seen it in a sanitized TV version. Humans have been struggling with the same things since the dawn of time.
  17. Found this on the whole Gadarine Swine thing, but it still doesn't make much sense to me.
  18. I'm enjoying it too, applecrisp. I was so glad the sisters reunited. The other one about Kevin, I haven't finished, but I remember seeing that story on another one of the shows, and I didn't know that he had a new trial and had been found not guilty. I'd like to see a show just about that. ETA, I finished the one about Kevin, and can I say how much I love Aunt Joanie? He needs to hang with her if he wants to move forward in his life. You can sit on your pity pot for a bit, but then you've got to move on.
  19. I'm thinking Wesley is such a mess at his station because he has low-wage underlings to clean up after him, which makes me dislike him even more.
  20. I thought it was horrible that Regina and her lawyer insisted on calling Kimberly "Arlena." The lawyer even said Kimberly was dead and that she was Arlena. So incredibly insensitive to Kimberly, not to mention the memory of the daughter that died and that she loved as her own for nine years. Very odd. I wonder if it was a way to cope with the loss.
  21. I don't really know a lot of "behind the scenes" stuff that goes on with TWD, but with the lack of focus on the main characters this season, I had to wonder if everyone is off making movies or something? I can't figure out why they hardly got any screen time.
  22. I get "first looks" on other shows I watch, and they seem to just be the first segment of the show until the commercial, and then they cut to the next scheduled show. I was glad Grayson made the cut. I was feeling premature second-hand embarrassment for her.
  23. Last night was the first time I watched The Voice this season. I've been kind of burned out on it. I actually enjoyed most of the singers. The only thing that would have made it better is to have DVR'd it and fast-forward through the commercials and judges' comments, because those judges still have absolutely nothing new or constructive to say. The one person that really stood out to me as far inferior to everyone else was Braiden. I'd really be surprised if he survives to sing another week. Korin (?) didn't hold my attention at all. She may have a good voice, but nothing about it interested me enough to listen long enough to find out. Went and worked on the Xmas tree instead.
  24. In a way I do agree with Jean in that I really feel for the person who made a big mistake when they were young, is very unlikely to murder again, and gets life without parole. It just seems like such a waste. Of course, I've never had a loved one murdered, so there's that. But I don't think this is the case with Biro. He seems like a psychopath who needs to be separated from society.
