  1. Kailyn worked at Wal-Mart. That's where she met that one white boyfriend she had. I can't muster up any type of feeling for Amber even when she says she is suicidal. As someone who has had to have facility stays for depression and suicidal ideation it makes me feel bad that I don't feel bad. Maybe I'm just a horrible person or maybe I'm suspicious that it's not a genuine cry for help. Like Pete Davidson over the weekend. It was so dramatic. But then we have so many people that take their own lives that surprise us (in the media and in real life). It's really hard to take seriously when there are so many crying wolf stories. Cheyenne is the definition of "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free". I think that term was originally used to refer to sleeping with someone before marriage so he wouldn't marry you but in this case it's Cheyenne giving Cory the family and the pats on the back he gets for just doing what a father should yet he will not commit to her. There are too many girls out there for him to have, he basically told her that they shouldn't go clubbing together. Of course she's at another elaborate party. I've started to notice Ryder is often the only child around??? Tyler looking at his phone while Cate was talking about her therapist and then walking away on the porch. It's because it never ends!!! Cate: "I'm learning in therapy...." shouldn't you have learned that by now? At first I was going to make fun of her for finding another excuse to leave to leave Nova but she took her with. But as someone stated above it was to go to a place with more crying and talk of suicide. MacDog didn't mind ragging on Maci last season but now she doesn't have an in with the show she sure doesn't mind buddying up to her!! Maci is boring but continues to forgive people who trash her on tv. Remember all of Larry's drunken threats that he was going to expose her? That being said I think their talk this episode was pretty touching. She, like Chelsea, doesn't have a story line and that's probably how it should be. The show really needs to take a break right now. Come back in 8-10 years. We would be excited to see a reunion. Come back to us when the kids are graduating.
  2. I'm glad I was not the only one who noticed Schwartzy refer to Katie as his GF. And, yes, their apartment is a mess and I hate their decor. Maybe they are like Tom and Ariana though and saving to buy a house? He is so awkward asking James to repeat what he said about Katie like a middle schooler. This episode was boring to me because it is so scripted. Katie barely works at SUR and does not need the job. Like Lisa didn't know she was filming with her that day "oh? you wanted to talk to me?" And the girls night out just to give them some drama of talking about Racquel and James. Snooze. Just do it in your pajamas. The beer cheese just reminds me of what Austen on Southern Charm is doing. It's just a company that will take your ingredients and process them for you in their factory. It's not like you are starting a business from the ground up. At least it's better than a clothing or makeup line?? Tom's dad looks so much like him!!! Remember in Goonies when Brand tells Mikey to watch himself so he won't slip and then he slips? Totally Tom with the shaker. HA!
  3. I just finished this season. I like it but the fat shaming came on very strong during the first few episodes. Thought it was funny they recast the daughter after the Pilot. I like all the characters and mainly came for Katy Mixon who I loved on Mike and Molly. I can see why they think the son is a pain in the ass but the older daughter doesn't seem mean or difficult, just doesn't enjoy school very much, but is a sweet person. Oliver kind of bugs me, they make him too swarmy. I would like to see the kid laugh or smile at a silly joke with friends and act his age. Sitcoms go over the top with kid personalities sometimes. The writing was a little inconsistent by insisting that Ann-Kat was just like her mom but in the beginning she seemed to be picking up on her dad's quirks and then when she was acting like her mom they had to spell it out for us.
  4. Does anyone else feel compelled to serve a charcuterie board during a holiday celebration next week?
  5. I also didn't realize that an in unit washer and dryer would be a big deal. I'm from Seattle and have lived in both types but mostly they have been in unit.
  6. One thing I didn't understand was when CT and Lili were talking by the pool about his sister being invited. And then it cuts to a talking head saying "is she invited?" and Lili says "I don't know". That is literally the same thing we were just watching. Okay it's not one thing I didn't understand, it's a few. Like it's 5-8 days until the wedding and they still don't know how they are going to use the venue? Shouldn't this have been planned out months ago? Also, why the last minute ask of CT's sister to be a bridesmaid? Would they have time to get a dress ready at the last minute that fit her and matched the rest of the bridesmaids? Does she want an equal amount of bridesmaids and groomsmen? Also Lili complaining about how it is her dream day - then why plan it on a date during hurricane season? If the date has significance then why not find an inside venue? Seriously I couldn't be a part of this last minute planning. Lili annoys me and she looks like a mouse. I kept trying to find a pretty side to her and I couldn't. they are! ha
  7. At least some of the other girls have some outside business ventures. I don't follow any of them on any social media. Does Kristen do anything else? She's so awkward asking what James was doing there when he works there and she snuck in. Kristin should have dressed up as a black kettle with her cheating allegations. Who looks more desperate for fame - Hope or Faith? Faith did get on to some MTV shows so her dirty business worked out well for her. I loved the 80's sitcom segment. So funny and cute. It works for this show. I wish I had not deleted it so I could see it again. Lala's hair with her floral dress in her TH clashes so badly. The jacket she was wearing at the engagement party worked better.
  8. You could tell right away that was Gary's dad. They even talked very similar (tone in voice). Amber brought in the comic relief. She needs to relax!! AHAHAHAHHAHAH I've been working 50 hours a week with ongoing vertigo for 2 weeks now and I do this having bipolar disorder and two kids I actually parent. I don't understand NuMatt's outfit. Was that just for sitting around? Do they have sex because I just can't picture it. That was quite an extravagant birthday Cheyenne had. We always laugh about how the girls will have no money after the show but Cheyenne is really going to be in a hard spot. She's already blowing all of it and it's her first season, she's not popular or well known enough by the show to have the endorsement deals or "businesses" the other girls do. He said giggley juice. I don't know why that was bad in Maci's eyes.
  9. I do remember Jake being on that show but totally forgot Annaleigh was on it! And at the time I would have watched for her because he was new to me then.
  10. Andy was dumber than usual with the Dua Lipa/Kenan Thompson episode. Asked if they had ever met before when a week prior they were on SNL together. It's so recent someone should have provided him that tidbit. The admitted he doesn't know guests names sometimes. We totally believe that.
  11. I'm sure Gabby knew Christian had a girlfriend. While they were chatting on the pontoon boat (really cool BTW) 5 seconds before Davie said he wasn't on board I told my husband "why do they think he's on board?" I've never seen Mike or Angelina even talk to him. The real reason I came to chat was ANGELINA OH MY STARS SHUT UP GIRL. I have never heard someone give such a pumped up speech about themselves. We see you, Angelina. Blabbing on about how she was the woman she is because of her mom. That doesn't always mean that you're wonderful. I was embarrassed for her bragging about the rice because she did that for votes, not out of the goodness of just loving everyone. Plus, her mom will see that later. She doesn't need to tell that story right then and there. I don't get the cast shock and awe about Christian using his idol. Davie told him. It wasn't the blindside they thought. The real move was Nick/Mike/Angelina voting for Gabby. I get why they are emotional about their loved ones. Can you imagine being on an island just waiting for people to stab you in the back, to constantly be trying to get someone out and not fully trusting anyone? A loved one is a safe harbor in these situations. They are the only ones purely rooting for YOU. Christian really had a great point about remembering what it is like to take someone for granted. My husband and I did a long distance relationship for some time. The times we had to part I've never cried so hard in my life. Sometimes when I get so mad and frustrated with him I remember how I felt then. This is a good season. There have been some good season recently of people wanting to play. I look back to Heidi and Jenna in Amazon and it was just like the earlier days people wanted to hang out and have some fun.
  12. Annaleigh was on an episode of Murphy Brown not to long ago. Tyra is more strange and crazy than Myriah to me. Like she's really excited about Life Size 2. Everything she does she thinks is incredible and ground breaking. I kind of expect Myriah to be a little off or self centered as she is constantly pampered.
  13. The way these people walk off the stage in protest and sit backstage like they are standing up for something really grinds my gears. They need to put this fiery passion and energy into some human rights projects or some sort of actual activism. What a waste for it to be all over Johnny Bananas. I don't understand why any of them were laughing and cheering Brittni on. She was not funny, cute or interesting. It just goes to show how completely trashy and crazy every single one of these people are. I'm sure her parents loved her saying Brad "fucked the fuck" out of her. And I agree with you @smores the brag about Brad not being the only guy who has ghosted her after sex was really strange. I wouldn't want people to know that. During the show I thought Zach was tough on Amanda. During the reunion I could finally see how awful she is. Nothing in particular stands out, just her overall vibe.
  14. I feel you. I have a hardish job in the sense that I work at overnight position at a shelter. The sleep deprivation and strange hours take a toll and I'm alone - sometimes with some creepy kids. My husband gets worried about my health and safety. Today he said he would be willing to work a second job so I didn't need to work. I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I like working, working for this type of organization, having something to myself outside of my family. Being at home with my kids too much is so numbing. My brain felt like it was melting and I was desperate for any adult interaction. It actually made me a little depressed and I just wanted to sleep all day and want them to go to sleep. Staying at home might be for some people, but not for this lady.
  15. That's what I thought as well @Scarlett45
  16. She seems to have deep set eyes which can look a little dark. Most of the ladies are really pretty without makeup. I think only last year Raquel stood out as someone who needed it.
  17. I have not been able to watch up with WWHL so I'm glad to hear they explain the proposal location and the gloves because I thought those things were really strange. Did they move into ANOTHER apartment? All the girls looked different, some slightly and some dramatic and it's not a good thing for all of them. Kristen looks the same but she has aged since last season. I think her drinking and smoking is catching up to her. I'm just so happy we don't have to talk about Ariana's fake relationship issues and vagina. Let's party!!!
  18. I love Jay R Ferguson and am glad he is on the show for at least more than one episode. It seems like the show has a lot of support from name actors but then again a lot of the revivals have the same thing. I hate the beginning when Dan puts the whole sausage in his mouth and takes it out. It's gross and I have to look away. This show is consistent in making me laugh and I just love the humor.
  19. AHAHAHAHHA!!!! Nice one. This show needs to slow the fuck down. They should not have him meeting his sister's heart until Season 3 let alone episode 9 in Season 1. I say it every episode "how will the some up with more ridiculous story lines at this pace". I also found the writing in this episode incredibly stupid. When Helen tells Max about the heart patient she says "The donor is Luna Goodwin. Your sister". Did he forget his sister's name? (I mean he forgot her funeral so maybe) We as viewers have not forgotten her name nor his last name. We can put two and two together, writers, no need to dumb it down for us. And then if the coffee shop lady is NOT scamming doctor Vijay then that is also poor writing. He mentions he has money........then she needs money. *sticks lips out and then wiggles pointer finger back and forth on them while making cartoony sounds* I think we should band together and remember we need to keep track of this particular story line to see if it goes anywhere and if it doesn't remember how the writers think we are idiots. Not only do they try and serve us with nonsense medical drama but they feed us this shit. The Shay story line struck a personal nerve. I work with at-risk youth. The nonprofit I work for is extremely progressive and we welcome everyone and really try and follow trauma informed care. That being said I am an older person who sometimes gets a little irritated with the shit some of the youth get away with. Many of these kids are addicted to electronics/social media/drama and I don't even want to know what they probably say about me and my coworkers online. Most of the kids we work with really need us but then there are the kids who are just brats. We work with the families if they let us and the parents in this episode reminded me of some of the parents that are willing to work with us. Really understanding but their kids are just stinkers. I had no sympathy for Shay's bullshit. One a side note we have an employee who identifies with certain pronouns and in a company e-mail this person was being praised with an award and they were referred to with the wrong pronouns. I totally understand how hurtful that is but during a company training this person called out the administrative person who made the mistake. Like I said I'm older and I have a different vision of people 15-20 years younger than me even though I really try and see it from their perspective. I thought calling this person out in front of 100 employees was in really poor taste. But being the organization we work for, it was an okay setting to do this in. Any other corporation probably would have reprimanded the person. I was excited to see Sendhil Ramamurthy. I always thought he was so handsome in 'Heroes' and 'The Office'.
  20. The name Tezlee! How did they even come up with it? There is a white trash reason and I want to know why. And stop with the ly/lee stuff. Totally obnoxious says a person who is named Amber Lee and gave her first child an "ly" ending name on purpose. But I stopped there. Tyler thinking everyone will be mad at him for leaving a pregnant Cate goes to show the forums he is constantly searching for himself on do not ever lead him to previouslytv.com. If he did he would know we all get he's at the end of his rope. He is so done he doesn't care if he is shown saying he regrets not being with more partners and acknowledging his time to get away is when a baby is on the way. Did Tyler say she was only 3 months along? And she already had the gender reveal party and is getting an ultrasound. I've never, ever seen these ultrasound places they have at these strip mall locations that are in the show. I went to practices adjacent to a hospital or a designated medical building. Are these places more likely to let cameras in? Just in general I am not sure they are around where I live. The fast pace of Catelynn doing these things matches her putting a Big Sister t-shirt on Nova a week after she found out she was pregnant and was only 3 weeks along last time. All of the girls are so desperate to have these big moments on tv. The beginning of Amber's segment "I'm starting to feel depressed again but I still want to spend time with Leah". She can spend time with Leah and be depressed. Does she know that? And why NuMatt had to come along to the leg shaving thing I have no idea. I get he has to drive her there for some reason but he could have come back. Gary thought all of it was stupid. Every single moment Bristol has in front of the cameras is purely to set up her own narrative and it is soooo boring to watch. Totally laying blame on Dakota for not having a relationship with Tripp. "He goes after what he wants". You know who should have a relationship with Tripp? His dad and every other family member he has back in Alaska. But now you've stuck him in Austin where I am not even sure if he has any stability considering the amount of times you've moved and are going to L.A. She is not going to have that perfect family she wants because absolutely no one will ever be able to put up with her shit. I kind of liked the sign Taylor made that said "I Like Her Butt". It was childish and funny. They've been making signs for the past few years so I don't blame him for wandering into silly territory. Maci seemed strange on the phone with Jen. She was smiling and seemed "happy". Even when she is drinking she is still really somber and slow. I wish MTV still did 'Cribs' and would do one of Maci's new house. I am desperate to see what the rest of it looks like and if they kept the same paint and designs. The M's were revolting but each girl has her own style. Kailyn - basic bitch chevron stripes. Jenelle - pill bottles and punched out walls. Catelynn - dog poop and piles of laundry. You know. Cheyenne wore a full outfit at a party with her relatives. Progress.
  21. Was that girlfriend planning the birthday just standing there in the hallway? She was there every time Bloom went to take a nap. It was really strange.
  22. I finished the rest of the series. I have no idea why but things got better when Peyton and Lucas left. The stories are still ridiculous but I think Peyton and Lucas were such boring sad sacks?? Per my last post Brooke had a baby named Davis. Surprise! Why they focused a few seasons on her wanting to have a family so desperately and then they showed about 35 minutes of her being pregnant during one episode? And then she stupidly falls after trying to lift a huge bag of flour while on a ladder? No shame in working mom's and dad's but for someone who wanted kids so bad these kids stayed with a babysitter A LOT! I'm talking about Brooke doing other things after her shift at work and Julian doesn't have an actual daily job. Also, the way Brooke lived was strange to me. She's this successful business woman with shops in New York and Tree Hill and she continues to live in a small townhouse for the last 4 seasons. There is no living space. Yet at the beginning of season 6 jobless and wheelchair bound Nathan who must have a million medical bills and teacher Haley have a huge house with a pool. Then they randomly stick us with some filler scenes of people we don't even give a shit about like the record label exec Miranda and the bartender who is a singer in real life. All of the recording artist they feature as actors are so terrible and wooden and painful to watch. We are also stuck with Stephen Colletti (spell?) and once I finally started to like Jamie he starts having less screen time and I am then forced to watch this kid CHUCK. Not only that but then we are introduced to another kid Logan. What is with this show and little boys?? Also, I would like to look up a map of where the locations of Tree Hill are. Because for someone who has been kidnapped twice and almost drowned twice, all the murderers and psychos running around first grader Jamie seems to be off on his own a lot. Going to the park or the river court. Very nonchalant parenting. The writers are mean. Very mean. The make an already very awkward looking Mouth wear a fat suit. Season 8 Episode 6 the face mask they have him wear actually is coming off on the neck and they don't even give a shit about editing and redoing the scene. It's fully ripped and bouncing around. And the fat shaming has no fucking bounds!!! The piled Clay on with the most outrageous story lines. He meets a girl one time and she gets that obsessed with him? And then he and Quinn are in some limbo where they get to go to the beach and have sex all day? Perfect! Why come back? I didn't understand why he was in a facility where he would have interaction with a child. No actual facility would allow this. Strangers just walking into a 6-year-olds bedroom to chat. I knew something was up, I thought maybe he was a figment of Clay's imagination. Why they felt the need to dye that poor kids hair I have no clue. Clay has brown hair, it would have been reasonable for the kid to have brown hair. I liked some stuff. They made Quinn goofy and fun. I liked the episode where Jamie found a frog or the cracker eating contest. Jana Kramer was a nice addition. Clearly the show wasn't that bad because I watched it all. But the slut shaming and the way they treated the female cast was really gross. This ended only 6 years ago. We've come far. These people need to learn how to fucking drive.
  23. Oh you need to watch more Real Housewives. Why was Kam orange? Was she sitting in a weird lighting? It was the oddest color I have ever seen a person and I do not think it was her. Paulie did the same thing in the Redemption house. He was all talk and did nothing when Brad and Kyle got there. We see you, Paulie. Does anyone know if CT's wedding special will be under The Challenge for recording purposes? I don't want to actually go and hunt it down, just hoping it will automatically record off my Challenge title already set up.
