I hate to admit it, but I've done the same thing. It has nothing to do with me wanting to sound upper crust, but more with I think naturally talking like all the people around you. I find if I go to the south, I slip into some crazy Southern accent, almost subconsciously. Maybe its my subconscious need to fit in. I think I did the same thing when I visited London.

I was all over the internet trying to find out what happened. I know I read one site that said that Erica threw the drink and Scrappy hit her. I certainly don't think anyone should hit anyone else, but I think most people know that its just different when a grown man hits a woman, than it is when a woman hits a man. And if he hit her over a drink she threw on him, thats just wrong. I'm not sure if the production company went to black to protect Scrappy or what, but they normally have no problem showing two grown woman slapping each other all day every day. And I think if Momma Dee had any leg to stand on to not blame Scrappy she would take it and run, but Scrappy must be dead wrong if she can't defend him. Juliet is annoying, and Caroline wastes her breath even trying to explain simple concepts like tact to Juliet. She might as well be trying to explain the mechanics of astrophysics to a 5 year old. Actually the 5 year might at least pay attention. Juliet is just a negative, angry person, and thats fine, it takes all types to make the world go around, but why be angry at someone who dares to have sympathy and compassion and not be a mean girl with you? Caroline is right, Juliet is probably starting to get the reputation as a person who always starts a fight, causes a scene or loudly takes issue with something, and people are going to start to want to avoid her. In fact, I hope that happens, because she never, ever, ever wants to admit that she is wrong, oh she may say sorry, but I don't think she means it. I was also annoyed at Noelle, I mean I'm happy that the charity she is fundraising for is getting money in any way they can, but she seemed so much more concerned about a charity helping her to "shape a public image" rather than helping the charity. I mean, she didn't even pretend to want to really help the children of Africa.

I mean you no offense, but I believe the Navy is the one military branch that seems to have a disproportionate amount of gay men, or at least has the perception of being that way. And, there is nothing wrong with that, but I'm not entirely sure one man in another man's lap is ever a nonsexual thing. And thats for 2 women, 2 men, or a man and a woman, I just think thats a pretty sexual thing. I also think there is a mid-ground between men being terrified to touch each other (a la King of the Hill) and asking another man to caress you as you are sleeping in the same bed. Myself, I prefer men a little more on the traditional side of things because I don't want a man to be soft like me. I feel like as a woman, I should be a beautiful mystery to a man, but if he is doing the same stuff I'm doing where is the mystery in that? I might as well just date myself. I once dated a guy who would cry all the time when we argued, it got real old, real fast because I don't want to be tougher than the man that I'm dating.

Okay - I hope someone else was watching 1. Did Scrappy hit Erica P? I feel like Momma D feels like Scrappy can do no wrong, so for her to be apologizing for Scrappy must mean he did something really bad to Erica P, and hitting her would be just about the thing. Oh wow, he actually did hit her. He needs to be off the show, period. They can keep him for the rest of this season, but if he is back next season I'm not watching. I can't support a man hitting a woman, no matter if she threw a drink on him or not. All he had to do was walk away, at any point before hitting her. He always has excuses for why he does things, and its never his fault, and its always someone else, and he is going to rehab or whatever, but no, I'm sorry, I just can't. Everyone has a line, and allowing him to continue on the show after that behavior is basically Mona Scott-Young co-signing and rewarding his behavior, and I just can't. 2. I don't think there is any problem with being proud of your home country, but at the same time you should respect other cultures when you go to visit their country. IMO at least.

Yeah, that milk in the beard shot was unfortunate. The integrity of this season can be summed up in four words Pancake in a Cup. In fact, I almost feel like that should be a Top Chef challenge, because I think those chefs would be so creative and use such interesting techniques to make it look beautiful and taste delicious. BTW, I could understand Emma just fine. I thought it was sorta cute that she put on a French accent because she was in France. Nicole should have delivered that first joke better, it was a good joke, but geez. Lenny maybe could have said that you could take his sauce anywhere, even to the great wall to add a kick of spice to your food (I don't know if it would have been racist to make a chinese food comment at that point)

I feel like its more a situation of Brandy has TOLD us she has only lied about two things. I think over two years, she and Jeff have discussed a lot of things, there is no telling how many things she may have lied or fudged about. I can't blame Jeff for not wanting to go full steam ahead with someone who has at least lied to him about two pretty big things. A lot of Catfish will say things like "well, I only lied about how I look, everything else is true" "I only lied about being a man, everything else is true" If he were my brother, I would tell him to take it VERY slow and to approach anything she said with a jaundiced eye. Sad thing is, I think if she had just been honest with him, he would have still liked her and probably would be in a full relationship with her by now. He seems like a shy, lonely guy who isn't hung up on looks. My ex-boyfriend was like that, he truly, truly didn't care about looks, and in fact preferred someone less attractive so he could be sure that they weren't cheating on him.

From all we knew of Stahma on her planet she was a subservient woman with no backbone. She certainly knows how to play the role well. It could have been her experiences and struggles that shaped her into the ruthless criminal mastermind that she is today. Similar to Christie...when this baby comes, she will likely have to go through a lot. Alak is their only son, both Datak and Stahma have every reason to want Rafe and Christie as marginally involved as possible with determining how that child should grow up. That means that both are going to try to push each other, and Rafe and Christie out of the way so they can claim control of the child. There seems to be nothing as important to Datak than continuing the traditions and the family name, and Stahma as well. They certainly both seem to think that humans, and the human way is somewhat inferior to the Castithan ways. In short, I think Christie is going to go through a lot, especially if she gets alienated from her father. And if she does become alienated from her father and starts to think more like a Castithan to survive in that household she may learn to become more like Stahma in order to get what she wants. I'll agree that we haven't seen much from her, but why keep her around? Why make her so pivotal? Maybe its because in the future she will have to develop the strength to survive. Or maybe they kill her off as she is giving birth. Or maybe she just continues being somewhat useless - but I know....

I don't know. I can't ding him for that. I don't even know if it was all about her looks, because he didn't seem like a shallow guy in any way. In fact, he had said it was her love of dogs that first attracted him, and while that is generally a big fat lie, she accidentally added him, its not like he was on the lookout for a girl online. And I know that guys in the service generally aren't dating hotties, for a girl dating a guy in the service, she is at least a 7, when she is done up, and 8. And he was lonely, so I don't think he was necessarily looking for a hottie. However, like he said, he opened up to her about everything, and she clearly lied about a lot of things. Even if she is nice, thats a betrayal of trust. He may be someday forgive that, but I would have been shocked if he had decided to move to another state, or give up his job for a girl who had betrayed him, even if she looked exactly like the picture. I mean as far as she has said, she hasn't lied about anything else. But I think it would be hard to know if thats the truth. So I don't think its so much that she wasn't pretty, I think its more that he had completely opened up to her, and she lied to him. If he had been my friend or brother I would have told him to re-enlist. I wouldn't want my brother or friend to be in that situation, because while she is a nice girl, whats going to happen when times get tough again? Will she resort to lying or creating other profiles when her relationship gets stressful?

Interesting, Helen's gameplay seemed to intelligent to me, she always seemed to be straight up with people, and make them think they had a chance even if she had every intention of putting them on the block. She never seemed to make a move with a personal motive. Even though she was HOH, she put up two hated players, and let Elissa put up the stronger player, so he would be gunning for Elissa. That trope of players was so invested in "righting wrongs" and some such nonsense. I feel like she basically orchestrated Nick being booted,which seemed like a smart move. This show depresses me, in that people, in this day and age are still rampant racists, they just manage to hide it better in public. But when being taped 24 hours a day, they just can't help themselves but let racist comments fly. I'm not sure what Pao is doing in the live feeds, but she seems like a weak link to me. If I were anyone, I would focus on getting Devin and Caleb out of the house ASAP. They are in the middle of all these alliances, are super pushy and seem to be able to control some of the weaker players. No bueno.
