  1. I'm sure that Tim isn't being genuine, but that is a great idea. Maybe for an All-Stars season or something, because some of the designers on the regular season have a tough time with the size -2's.
  2. What he forgets is that Rose, while not very bright, was a vicious competitor, who would stop at almost nothing to win. I remember that episode of her in the bowling competition, she is not joke. But yeah, its a way to be patronizing, which sucks because Rose was very sweet natured, so it really shouldn't be a put down.
  3. I had thought that he may have just "remembered" his sister cutting the piano wires because she was generally such a bitch, but I guess I totally missed the techs saying the wires had been cut well before the murder. But it is much more interesting to think that he was playing the piano in his head.
  4. I could see a situation where the others may not understand/know what the Golden Girls is. With the exception of Donny they may have missed it. Even in Lifetime reruns. How did Derrick's family eat before Big Brother? Are they eating now? If he spends any part of that 500k on anything other than food specifically for his daughter I will be disappointed.
  5. I feel like it must be a Golden Girls reference. Rose was the dumb, but sweet natured blonde and Victoria may have some of those characteristics.
  6. That is the first thing I thought when he said it, because his response was right at the line of bragging, IMO. And I think that almost works against you because I think presented with two things they like equally well, they may give it to the designer who actually had a struggle with the challenge, or they at least don't want to give it to the person who breezed through. I didn't think they were going to give it to Alexander, and while I liked Alexanders dress, I thought it pretty much was in the top three because of the redemption story....so even if he didn't have the highest score, I thought they would put Alexander in the top three just to sort of talk about how much better he did. I liked Alexander's dress, but I certainly didn't think it was better than Fade's. So in terms of the win, I really could see it being between Amanda and Kini. And if the judges liked them both equally, I could see them giving the win to Amanda because they may have perceived her as "working harder" for it.
  7. Street smart turkeys? Now I have visions of cartoon turkeys wearing leather motorcycle jackets and shades
  8. Question: is there an actual Prince Matchabelli, or is he just totally made up for purposes of dotting perfume onto women's toes (which seemed very pervy to me, but whatever, I mean, who am I to judge a prince?)
  9. I was under the impression he had cut the wires out of self rage for killing his little sister. It looked like she showed up as he was playing the piano, and thats when the whole "I'm a monster" thing happened.
  10. Oh goodness, I just had visions of a leather cuff bracelet with fringe hanging off of it....oh no. I draw the line at the Payless Shoe Wall and the Walmart Accessory Wall. I don't care how Tim tries to sell it. I can't think of a reason for some of Amanda's wins other than that they want to highlight her THs and her somewhat smug disposition. That means, to me right now at least, its still a game based a lot on personality, and giving the wins to certain designers can stir up the drama that they want. So, I am really hoping you're right. Although I wouldn't put it past them to force TG to use his save on Fade (I hope they don't do that!!!!)
  11. I agree, and for me at least, I have never needed subtitles to understand Luca. I would have definitely needed subtitles for Pah Stahl.
  12. Hey, if they keep doing design challenges at food joints you might be able to guest judge both. Just let the word sensation speak for itself :)
  13. If its the precious princess with the demands, she ought to be locked in a closet. Then maybe she can deign to accept a babysitter who serves her vegetables.
  14. Just call yourself a sensation and I think you can be a guest judge. I mean they don't have to know what medium you're a sensation in, right?
  15. Apparently if you have the ability to talk and know anything about social media you just might be a guest judge!
  16. Zac was saying that he had seen Amanda's look before, on the Cavalli runway, in vintage thirftstores. It was in response to Nina suggesting that Amanda should win because Kini's look had "already been seen" So Zac said "well I've seen Amanda's look before too!" I think the drinking game should be every time Char uses the term "classic and sleek" I agree with you about Hernan's intention, but if Sandiya doesn't like being spoken to that way, I think its okay for her to voice that too. Especially he was chastising her mid-whine about the fucking suit....again..... I like how Sean was trying to explain "deconstructed" to Zac Posen and Nina Garcia. Zac looked like he was about to blow!
  17. Director of Brand Transformation. I wonder if they are trying to attract a more upscale client, or what exactly they want their brand to transform into that includes a sponsorship on PR. Well, I know they have bottomless fries Well here is the thing......someone is going to get the shitty suit. So even if Sandaya gave you the shitty suit, it was going to go to someone, you're not so special buttercup. And maybe she did purposefully give you the shit suit, but maybe if you were nicer you wouldn't have gotten the shit suit, so its on you, and besides that, if she purposefully gave you the shit suit, the best revenge would be to behave as though you just LOVE the suit. I thought for sure the Mitchell was headed for the bottom, it looked very jetsons. ^^^Yes, yes, and hells yes to this. I was thinking - didn't think show used to have guest judges who were successful designers? I vaguely remember Vera Wang, Anna Sui, and Elie Tahari. Now we have a "fashion blogger" who pretty much says things that I would say. And yes, pretty much saying what someone else said in a more general way?
  18. ITA about Kini and Fade being robbed. Those were my two favorite dresses. Amanda's wasn't bad, but I thought Fade's was so interesting and beautiful. Goodbye Hernan, don't let the door hit 'ya where the good lord split 'ya!
  19. So...just so we're clear, Tim said "this is a high fashion challenge, so make sure to use the Aldo accessory wall very, very thoughtfully." and then the camera zoomed in on some multicolored, glitter, velcro tennis shoes. Now you're just rubbing it in our faces.
  20. I remember reading that in a civil case, a jury can construe a failure to respond against the person who refuses to testify. Because a plaintiff has the burden of proof, I think it would be tough going for Phaedra as a plaintiff, but I think AS also has a lawsuit against her, and her failure to respond can be construed against her to find her liable for civil harm to AS. When she started to try to say that she wasn't a public figure you could tell that she does think she is too clever and too slick. I hope the Feds go after her. Apollo called it a "diposition" you can't tell me that was the brains behind the operation, not even in all juviality. She is the one that filed suit and appears to have no evidence of how exactly her reputation has suffered.
  21. I think criminals rarely think about the repercussions of their actions. She was straight up lying in that deposition, I remember one about AS not being in her office or her kids not being in her office and BOOM! there is a picture. If you can't tell the truth about little things that don't even matter, then it stands to reason that you're perfectly willing to lie about the big things that can get you into trouble.
  22. Not getting all the sweet snark would be a great loss to me because I enjoy it so much.
  23. I'm gonna read it just cause you're the Deep Throat of the article :)
