  1. It could be a continuity fail.
  2. One thing that bugged was that Kelly got naked to kill herself in the tub. Who does that? You know you are going to be found dead, so keep it modest, okay? I knew Kelly was thinking of giving Cas her baby. I just wish there wasn't so much hesitation about taking Kelly and son to heaven. Plotonium.
  3. Yeah, things in this show about the supernatural have gotten less and less believable, although I can't tell if these OTT scenes and scenarios are hints that all is not what it seems, or if we are just experiencing the results of poor writing. Oh, one more thing: Oz being a real place. That HAS to mean someone is in a coma, doesn't it?
  4. I will check it out Catrox. and Pondlass said Going the "It was all a dream" route is crap writing, the only exception being the finale of the second Bob Newhart show. HOWEVER, the previous comment about the boys finding themselves in another world, or somesuch, made me wonder whether Dean has been in a coma since Cas and Sam cured him of his demon-ness. The next ep was the musical. Was Dean dreaming that there was a musical about their lives, that he killed Death, that his mom came back, that Lucifer is loose again, that he met god and god's SISTER? Is the other world that he finds himself in is one in which his mother and the BMOL, especially Lady PleaseDieNow, were never really there? We could play this rewind scenario all kinds of ways, too. Did they really survive the fifth season finale? Has he been in the empty since the end of season ten? I normally don't wish for such lazy writing, but my scenario would go a long way toward toward redeeming this show for me.
  5. The invisible monster stalking patients was done on Buffy in season two I think. It was Death coming for the children in a hospital ward, and you couldn't see "him" unless you were really sick, so Buffy had to get infected with something to fight it. I would just like to see Dean get written as the "old Dean" with his smarts intact, and a fair amount of joy and levity.
  6. Since we are all about Dean's hair, let me say the front of it looks good. Can they please stop shaving the rest of his head, though? I don't like the crew cut or Ceasar look, or whatever that is supposed to be. Bring on Season one hair, at least!
  7. It also doesn't make any sense for the BMOL to want the hunters dead. Are they planning for monsters to rule the USA? They better not kill Jessie and Ceasar, or Eileen. Do we know any other hunters, besides the nameless mob that was mourning Asa Fox? To be honest I don't care about Krissy, or Claire, so they CAN kill those obnoxious ladies.
  8. I left after the second ep of season 7 when they killed Cas. I had six more on the DVR and just erased them unwatched, because for me, killing Cas was a deal-breaker. I came back for season 10 and bought the DVDs so I could catch up, but last season and this one are very difficult to watch. The writing is at fault here. I will stay until the end of this season, but I probably won't be back next year. What I will miss most of all is coming to read these forums and gain insight from all of you. I am a Dean Girl, always have been. How I miss the clever boy.
  9. Luci could kill Cas out of retribution for taking Kelly and Spawn to Heaven. I hope not. I like the little tree topper.
  10. To add to the above, writers, you have got to bring the OriginalRecipeRavi back! He was the reason I kept tuning in. I like neither Blaine's nor Major's storylines, and Liv doesn't space out on brains as much as she should, so Ravi was MY REASON for tuning in! Peyton is indeed, both right and wrong in this. I didn't like Clive at all the first two seasons, but he is more interesting now that he knows, and Major is more likable without too much angst. Please let's keep Justin! That is all. You hear me, writers?
  11. This is way out there, but after reading the theory that Dean is "only dreaming" this season, I wondered if the renewal for S13 is a foiler. What if JA IS going to direct but the two Js will no longer be in the show? What if Claire and others will be the next generation of hunters taking over for the boys next season? I don't want that - of course - but wondered if that is why the character of Dean got a goodbye and Sam is getting a lot of time in the spotlight in this half of the season. I kind of like the idea that Dean is in the Empty and this season Sam and Cas have been trying to get him back. Perhaps Crowley is helping them. I need a fic, stat!
  12. DOES Sam know how the BMOL got the Colt? I can't stomach a re-watch, but I don't seem to remember Mary admitting to him that she stole it from Ramiel. I don't think JA is bringing it this season, which may be a reflection of him being torn by wanting to do well at work and wanting to be with his wife and children. If I fanwank Dean's lassitude, I might think he is walking on eggshells and/or depressed because he worried not that he will lose Mary, but that he will lose SAM. After all the things they have been through together, Sam ought to feel like "where Dean goes, so goes my nation." If Sam doesn't feel loyalty to Dean above those feelings that he is trying to nurture with Mary, I will think a lot less of Sam.
  13. Think hearing Mary's sudden and ooc ode to her sons was put in to quell the complaints about her. Made me roll my eyes. Doubt if the writers intended that. Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series featured female assassin's/soldiers who were so warped by their training, which included rape and other torture, that their final test was to kill their parents to prove they could follow orders. The school was a ridiculous paeon to that mentality. I continue to feel that Dean and Sam are guest stars. Are we meant to infer that Eileen spent some ... Quality time ... With Sam?
  14. It is probably wildly unpopular to blame JA but I do. He is supposed to know Dean better than anyone. As an actor (not a young boy) he should have course-corrected.
  15. When the character, whose last name I pronounce True-bell (that's what it would be sounded out) said, "They call me Trouble," I was out. That was just too much awfulness, especially after Adalind and Renard and the Russian mafia ate the show. I peeked in this season to see how it ended. Really ticked off at Nick smashing up the spice shop. I bet he blames it on Skull Guy.
  16. Forgot to mention that I really disliked the Mick-propping in the hospital. The boys know how to talk to people. And Claire reminds me so much of Jo. Haven't we seen the boys protect a young idiot girl before? Jo was better though. Not quite so determined to do things the hard way.
  17. Didn't like Dean and Sam not being able to handle 1.5 werewolves, nor did I like Mick saving Dean. That felt so unearned and so insulting to my baby, I mean, uh Dean. Never liked Claire and while I understand the boys not wanting to get between Claire and Jodi, I really don't want Jodi to feel she has a reason to be pissed off at them. To the boys, Jodi should be ranked higher than Claire, especially since they had seen Claire botch a werewolf takedown after she stalked away from Sam in an immature huff. I did like Dean making it clear that he was not onboard with hurting ALL monsters. I loved it when he figured out that Mick had killed the girl. That's my boy! I hope we don't have any more disappointing eps between now and the finale. This has been my least favorite season, and I wasn't a fan of either ten or eleven.
  18. Ok. Watched it all. Was disappointed they didn't use Otto as villain-y as they could have. They could have stretched it out.
  19. My sister loved this show during its recent stint on Hulu. I am three eps in and I like it. I really like Otto and had the show been a success, I would have liked to have seen the authors address the pseudo-incestuous vibes that are coming from Otto. He would then turn against Mary and whats-his-name, Jimmy. Otto would have made a great villain. I will get tired of the assistant and her intrusiveness very quickly.
  20. Am I the only one here not enjoying "George"? He is too much of a wimp to root for. Also call foul on both of them adapting too quickly to modern times. They should have had HG chase someone obscure who just wanted to have fun while travelling through time. The stakes are too high to NOT use deadly force. Also, H G Wells was a woman.
  21. Since it is printed in the TV Guide, double issue March 6-19th, I don't think I am spoiling it. There is a photo of Damon, and only Damon, on page 38. The article Used spoiler tag in case.
  22. Just received the new TV Guide (March 6-19 in the mail. I was stunned to see a very hot guy on page 30 opposite a full page article entitled "Agent of Change." When I saw the "NCIS" wordmark at the top I wondered which new agent this gorgeous guy is. I had watched seasons 1-8 or -9 and then couldn't take it (it being Tony made into a buffoon and Ziva being such a Sue) any more. I looked at this TV Guide photo more closely. OMFG! It is Sean Murray/McGee with a bit of beard growth, fractionally longer hair, and ... oh my word. I have never in my life found McGee attractive. Rather the opposite for his entire tenure. I wonder if they will let him look like this from now on in the show? Or does he already have the title McHottie and this is the first I have heard of it? Yowsa.
  23. Imaneassi, you have some good points above, but these two are wrong. Elena is not "sacrificing" her life. She is in suspended animation and will exit the coffin the same age as she entered it. The sacrifice she made is not seeing Bonnie again. I enjoyed the bro-hug. It was longer than expected.
  24. Yes Catrox. It felt sloppy. When the men in Coupling did the slow walk, it worked because while it was silly the show was a comedy, they were heading for a funeral, and the women in the cast pointed out they were doing it.
