  1. There is never a good time to tell someone a loved one is dead. If you keep waiting for the perfect moment it will never come. So Laurel needs to tell Quentin now that Sara died. Let the poor man grieve (and hopefully give her the funeral she deserves). Laurel's keeping the secret because it will somehow hurt her to tell him Sara's dead. She made Sara's death about her. Which is not OOC of her. She's dragging everyone down with her with a stupid lie that doesn't benefit anyone. How does she think Quentin's going to feel when he does find out that Sara's been dead for months and no one thought he should know? She barely knew Sara, so she can't honor the memory of someone she knows nothing about. I don't really see grieving so much as, how she can use this opportunity to become a super hero like everyone else. Which is exactly what's she's doing. She using the goodwill Sara built up and taking it for herself. I know eventually she'll add the color of the outfit to her name (which changes nothing, imo) but she'll still have Sara's glory to prop her up.
  2. Peggy took that guy out with a briefcase when he wasn't looking at her. That is not the same thing as kicking a guy's ass.
  3. I was wondering if he'd actually do it. Good for him. I do feel bad for Stephen, he did seem to like him and his aftershow. It must've been hard to hear Campea saying he'd quit if Laurel became insta Canary knowing exactly that was coming up.
  4. To be fair Quentin could've been seeing Laurel's stunt double who may look a bit more like Sara.
  5. That's what my earlier post was about. It seems the EP's know their audience better then we think. All they needed to do was have Laurel be nice to Felicity and wear a costume and kick ass and people will start to like her. Why it took them over 2.5 seasons to put that play into motion is another thing though. Felicity and Laurel teaming up to trick Quentin and use Sara is a huge factor in me not ever watching this episode.
  6. In my mind Sara never died, she never came back to Starling City and instead sent a lab created clone that she knew would be killed by Malcolm all so she could leave the LOA for good.
  7. Of course they are going to have Laurel be nice to Felicity, the EP's think that a character is nice to Felicity people will suddenly like that character or that scene. From some comments on here it seems they weren't wrong. Same goes for Laurel putting on the costume. Unless the ratings are really bad for this ep. The EP's got what they wanted.
  8. Tommy died because Laurel was an idiot, Sara died so Laurel could take her costume, Oliver "died" so Laurel could take his place and Felicity thinks it's okay to trick a friend of hers into thinking a loved one is still alive so Laurel can continue to wear Sara's costume. Is this show called Laurel or Arrow?
  9. I loved Bev at the Gift Bag extravaganza. I would've been all over that place too, who doesn't love free stuff. It was nice of Matt to bring her along. I agree with others they have done a good job of building the relationship between Matt and his ex-wife. Most shows struggle with that. So I wasn't surprised they hooked up, I was waiting for them to that for awhile. This new guy is going to take their show isn't he? I also think that Matt's not giving a fuck about Pucks is going to making the ratings soar, making Sean and Bev have to continue writing for it. Good call on Carol and Helen. I really hope Carol starts talking about Helen on their walk and Bev just goes "you slept with her didn't you".
  10. It's strange for me too. I usually agree with the hated characters. But I like Skye and am interested in her upcoming storyline. And it does look like the team is afraid of what she can do now. Which should also be interesting.
  11. I would love it if Thompson went to introduce himself and the Howling Commandos ignored him and went straight to Peggy, saluted her and said they were reporting for duty.
  12. I said it before, I'll say it again. Laurel is a robot, that's why she can download skills like fighting and tech into her programming. Someone put heart into her system so she thinks she has one, but can't quite grasp feelings and emotions.
  13. We all saw how happy she was that CL was getting fired. Her manic grinning in what was supposed to be a somber scene was jarring. What happened to her "method acting" in that scene. We're we supposed to think that Laurel was so happy to get her sister's old sweaty jacket that she didn't care that her sister was going back to the life of a killer? Is that what kind of person Laurel is supposed to be. I won't be surprised if in the Canaries episode, they have Sara say everything KC has been saying about Laurel in interviews, where she has such a big heart and wants to help people, how she fell into it and Laurel is choosing it and that's what makes her a better hero.
  14. I guess I'd accept the Journalist thing more if they had a line about Iris looking for work as a reporter. Not just being handed a job out of the blue. I'm more excited for Malese Jow next week, mostly because I'm still mad they killed Anna so stupidly on TVD. I hope she has a good storyline with both Barry and Iris. Iris needs a friend, since she already has two love interests. I wonder if they'll be introducing a 18 year old Wally (so he would legal) Or maybe people will start shipping Iris/Linda.
  15. KC is really bad at giving interviews is the only thing I can come up with. She needs to fire her PR person, they are not doing a good job coaching her. CL got that Olicity question all the time and was able to answer it well. She mostly said she knows they are popular and Stephen and Emily are great people. That's how you answer that question without giving your opinion and not pissing off a huge fanbase.
  16. It was nice of Howard to leave his bag so Peggy's laundry excuse looked legit. Whatisherface was surprised. I also hope that Agent Douchebag sees Peggy kicking all kinds of ass and stands there with a shocked look on his face.
  17. The fact that Arrow was becoming way to depressing for my tastes, where I wondered why Oliver even bothers to get up in the morning is the main reason I stopped watching. Now that I know they are writing Arrow depressing on purpose I won't be coming back.
  18. Obviously Dottie's watching her for some nefarious purpose but she has been keeping Peggy's identity a secret and taking out people sent to kill her. Peggy's kind of got a guardian ninja ballerina and she doesn't even know it.
  19. I don't know if they are going that way with Natasha, she called Steve a fossil. If she was close to the same age that wouldn't make much sense. Unless her memory was wiped and altered to make her think she's younger then she is. Which could be an interesting story to pursue if they ever around to giving her own movie. Nicole Perlman who co-wrote Guardians of the Galaxy was writing a script for a Black Widow movie (I met her at wedding). I guess they didn't pick it up. She would've done a good job with it.
  20. Caitlin doesn't become a villain until her accident. In the comics she does have a power similar to the electricity guy from earlier, they are almost like vampires. She craves warmth and feeds off the heat energy of others. The difference for showCaitlin is she has friends that would do anything to help her and I can see them going that route. They may lose her for awhile, then get her back on their side because Cisco built something that she can wear that gives her the heat she needs. I'd consider white male Watson from Sherlock a bigger iconic character then a comic book character. On Elementary Watson is being played by Asian female. They changed the race and the gender of a huge iconic character. I also don't ship characters. So Abbie and Ichabod from SH have nothing do with shipping for me. They have a black female lead and replaced her with a white female. On Arrow they had a bi-sexual super hero and tossed her in the garbage for the straight female. My point had nothing to do with their importance or whether or not they are iconic character. The writers will do whatever they want and rarely think about the consequences. They go with whatever they think is cool. I'm not saying that Barry/Iris is not the endgame. I'm just saying that is not something that is absolutely 100% certain to happen, just because Iris is a black female lead. Also for me Iris should be more than part of ship in the end. I'd be fine with Iris standing on her own in the series finale being a fully realized character alongside Barry. Since they are barely putting that much focus onto her story, I kind of hope they go with Iris West's comic story. That would make her a ton more interesting.
  21. It is annoying but I like that Barry is still learning and making stupid mistakes and is not a insta amazing super hero. Now he has to learn from his mistakes to make this work. I hope that what they are leading up too. With Iris and her sudden turn to Journalism and it is sudden IMO. Writing a blog for a few months where her best friend (not known to her of course) is the Flash so he will find any excuse to talk to her and getting tips from others does not make her a journalist. That's the same thing they are doing with Laurel. A few months of boxing lessons means she's all ready to be a super hero like Oliver and Sara who trained for years. They are leaning on the in the comics Iris was a reporter and Laurel was the BC, so that is what they are on the show without writing any logical reason for them to be there. Because comics doesn't work for me. Iris was getting her PhD in Psychology or something. Nothing to do with reporting crimes. They should've started the show with Iris trying to get a job as a reporter and was struggling because they weren't hiring or they didn't think she was good enough. Then she heard/saw the Flash and decided to start a blog and report on him, while also showing up at the strange strange crime scenes and investigating those then reporting on them in her blog. Look, I just wrote a logical reason for Iris to be a reporter in 2 minutes.
  22. The promo looked good. I think it's going to be really interesting now that Skye has super powers. The not being able to control them is cliche but understandable, especially with her powers.
  23. Cisco's "he was a jerk. But sometimes...he could be a dick." was hilarious. Iris' abrupt change to journalism is weird. Especially when they act like it's all she wanted to do (like with Barry calling her a great journalist and her saying she idolized jerk reporter), when all she did was start a blog. I'm all for her getting more of a storyline but at least have it make sense. Before the Iris supporters jump all over this. I like Iris, I just don't want her to be like Laurel where she just gets put in storylines because comics. Pied Piper's nickname made no sense. Come on Cisco, you are better than that. I do love that this show is making fun of DC's stupid names for some of their characters. I also like that Barry does struggle a bit and his team is able to help him out like a real team. Canon changes like that make sense for a tv show. The best part of shows is the interactions between the characters. I'm glad they are utilizing all the characters and having them actually talk and hang out together. I can't wait for Malese Jow next week. And it looks like that answers the is Barry a virgin question. He had Linda half naked on top of him. However his leaving like that is going to make her suspicious, since she is actually a reporter.
  24. That was the best line of the series so far. It was made even better when Joe just bust out laughing. I wonder if that wasn't scripted but they just kept it in.
  25. That's why the 8 episode thing works. They did not wait at all for the Dottie reveal. I loved that she was all chipper with her "I want" when she saw the guy with the gun. Howard does have an interesting relationship with Peggy. He sleeps with multiple women but he feels really bad that he lied to Peggy. It makes me wonder if Tony knows Peggy. Thomson is still an ass. I know they said we'd learn more about him but that won't change the fact that he's an ass. I think that Sousa is going to find out that Peggy's working for Stark, then decide to help her. I can't wait for next week for the Howling Commandos. I re-watched Captain America last week, just to see Peggy being awesome.
