  1. I know not everyone will agree, but I loved his portrayal of Leviathan Dick in the show. I suspect he enjoyed it as well since he put so many facets into it.
  2. On a slightly different note, I often wondered if the script/director called for Jensen to wear Dean's collar up or if that was his idea. Even if it was in the script originally, Dean's collars were up in every episode until the finale. The one exception was when Dean was living with Lisa (S6,E1) and working on a job - his shirt was tucked in and his collar was down. As soon as he joined the family hunters, the collar was up again. I'm sure that continuity was all Jensen. I really miss Dean Winchester!
  3. As does Thompson. He's the only writer in the entire group that watched every episode of the show - I believe even before he wrote his first episode in S7. Sometimes I wonder what would have happened to the Supernatural storyline if Waywards was picked up and both Berens and Badd left the show and someone had the sense to put Robbie in charge. I have a feeling it would have been a show I loved until the end. 🤨
  4. They probably don't care, but there is a forum for The Boys and it is posted there as well.
  5. Correct. What a horrible human being. I loved the series. Definitely worth a complete watch.
  6. Speaking of playing sociopaths, he played a horrific SOB in "Hell On Wheels". I couldn't wait to see him get what he was due. I saw this series shortly after seeing him in Supernatural, so yes, playing sickos is his thing. 🤨
  7. I used to watch so many shows on regular TV that I had trouble keeping up with them on the DVR. I watch nothing live except sports and even then, I start late so that I can FF through all the obnoxious commercials. Now, I only watch a few shows, losing more each season. I have a huge cable bill and share costs with family on Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime and Paramount +. I'm thinking of going just basic on the TV to drop maybe $20-$30 a month. Yes, regular TV drama is getting less and less. I don't watch comedies or reality shows.
  8. No, you got it right. In "Dark Side of the Moon", a young 5/6 year old dark haired actor played young Dean in his "memory" in Heaven. Mary was in the kitchen and making a PB&J sandwich for him, cutting off the crusts. In "Who We Are", we only see grown up Dean and Mary and baby Sammy. Dean is in Mary's head, trying to break her out of her fantasy to cope with her brainwashing.
  9. Jensen says it often - that Dean Winchester will be part of him forever. Yes, Dean is missed. 🙁 But, happy birthday, Dean Winchester.
  10. I am not a John hater. I believe when his life went to hell and he found out about the supernatural as the cause, he went into military mode. Instead of raising a family, he was raising fighters. He made many mistakes with his boys, but I always believed he loved them both. I hated that he gave Dean the order to save Sam or kill him knowing that he would be gone, but John gave his own life and soul to save Dean. You don't do that for someone you don't love.
  11. Re: post above - my god, does it ever end? I'm not sure I could take Speight's voice for a series of podcasts. I wonder if they're doing this because they think the cons will go away if/when the main stars can't make it or decide to move on.
  12. Yes! The very concept that at 16, Dean wouldn't have kissed a girl (as inferred) is absolutely preposterous! Also, he would have been very adept at "the five-finger discount" if he had been left alone for days at a time by the age of 16. They never should have changed the "age of Dean" because they thought that actor looked a little older than 14. IMO, the kid did a hell of an impression of Dean at a younger age.
  13. And to think that it was Tom Welling that got Jensen out on the golf course and started his love of the game!
  14. I read that fic back in the day and enjoyed it immensely. Re bolding: I think the fic writers could have written the entire Badd years better than he and his crew did - especially with the finale. Jensen mentioned in a con that he, Jared and others had to rewrite parts of the final three episodes of S11 (the job that Badd was in charge of) in order to make them make sense and flow. That should have given TPTB a clue not to have Badd in charge of showrunning!!!!!
  15. Honestly, I don't think that you ever will, and neither will I. S11 will be my series ending minus the Brit bitch. I wouldn't even mind Dean seeing Mary because he does love her so much and without Badd ruining her character, there can be the possibilities of a wonderful relationship. I think that good writers and creative thinkers could put together an amazing mini-series of the boys, but unfortunately, I believe that ship has sailed. Both *or three, if Misha is included* have moved on to other projects and commitments, so it probably would never materialize. But I would have loved to see it - no BMOL, no Jack, no "God" interfering with their lives and Lucifer only a bad memory. 🙂
  16. From what I've read, during S3 Sam was supposed to learn how to kill Lilith from Ruby and then kill her before Dean was dragged to hell, thus saving Dean. However, in the process, Sam "goes to the darkside" and eventually Dean would have to kill his brother or save him. Since the strike took away too many episodes to see Sam's transition, they sent Dean to hell. Enter angels to the story in order to get Dean out. Now, they decided to have Sam continue to the "darkside", become Lucifer's vessel and in order to save the world, Dean becomes Michael's vessel and fights Lucifer. Ultimately Sam and Dean take charge, jump in the hole and save the world together. But wait, more seasons...and we get the story we got.
  17. One more to add: Hell, the fans deserved better! I spent fifteen years watching this show, only to have asshole Badd give us this!!!👿
  18. Yes! This week I think. From what I've read, Jared originally wanted Jensen to direct E5 of the first season. However, his quarantine/work/prep on The Boys made that timing impossible.
  19. My daughter and I noticed the same thing happening at the Chicago convention way before Covid lockdown. In fact, because they seemed to think it was fine to yell out during the panels, we decided to call it a day after attending over eight years of conventions. Young people have a different view of these events, it seems.
  20. If that is accurate, that's way, way too close for comfort. I know that Jensen was excited to be in a western, but I believe Alec said that he didn't think that production would resume, which doesn't surprise me. Hopefully, Jensen will have another opportunity in a safer environment to get to film a western.
  21. @ILoveReading, this is so sad to read. This show has been over for almost a year and we still have crazy ass fans that just won't quit with their harassment of Jensen in particular, but anyone as you say, who is not their favorite. If I were Jensen, I think I would find a way to exit fandom, conventions, etc., simply to move on from this toxic atmosphere. When you mentioned about the fact that Jensen was supposed to be in that scene, that was my thought - he could have been on the receiving end of that bullet. I hope people stop and think how they would react, how they would "carry on", how they would feel about this tragic incident if they were involved this closely. Sometimes I really wonder what's wrong with people today. 🙁
  22. I don't know whether or not it is still the case, but Supernatural gave TNT their largest daytime ratings of any series. That's one of the reasons that they show so many episodes four days a week. When that inevitably ends, they will probably show fewer episodes or say good-bye to Supernatural. Let's hope that takes a long, long time.
