Well, it took some digging, but it's "Good God, Y'All" from season 5.

Well, Dean makes that kind of expression fairly often. So I'm trying to place the season based on Dean's hair style/length. Is it S6 - "Mommy Dearest" perhaps? If not, I have no clue...

Consider me part of that handful, @Awesom], I thought Frank was a fabulous off-kilter character and enjoyed all of his scenes. I also liked the back-story that the actor took the role because his daughter was such a big fan of the show.. I loved this episode for the same reasons as mentioned above. Always like seeing the boys in an alternate version of themselves, and they out did themselves in this episode. Also agree that the news coverage of the killing spree was a bit much and how would the real Sam and Dean now be able to pose as law enforcement agents. Oh well...

Is it "Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things"? Maybe in the cemetery looking at the dead tree?

I've enjoyed following this thread. You guys are really good at this. I'm going to take a guess and say that it is The Song Remains the Same. I think it may be that sad scene when Dean realizes that one of Sam's "favorite" memories is the night he left Dean for Standford.

I thought this was one of their best episodes. Each of the actors played their respective roles well. I loved that Sam trusted Dean's judgment about his father being possessed and listened to Dean instead of John begging him to "kill" the demon (and ultimately John himself). That's even reinforced when Sam tells his father that killing the demon doesn't come before everything, and looks at Dean in the back seat as he says it. Great stuff. Loved the kick-ass ending of the crash - absolutely one of the best finales ever. And I give Kripke credit - if the series was renewed and the brothers survived - good triumphs over evil; if the series is not renewed, then evil triumphs over good as it sometimes does in the real world. Win-win! Jensen knocked that exorcism scene out of the park. Actually all of his scenes - at the car and in the cabin with both Sam and demon!John. For those who may not have recognized it before, it really drove home what a talented actor Jensen was - and is even moreso now. :)

Hi All, Long time lurker at TWoP who decided to take the plunge here. Couldn't believe they're closing down the site. I've watched Supernatural since the Pilot and despite its descent into hell, will continue until the bitter end. Hope most of the TWoP posters come here as well, since I love your snark. :-)
