  1. I agree and thought the same thing as you. Trust me, that will be the least of the dialog writing problems in times ahead. 🙁
  2. This is S6 and as it progresses, you'll see why Dean called Bobby. Strange things afoot...
  3. I don't think there's anyway in hell that Jensen and Robbie would have anything to do with that hack. And honestly I'm tired of reading all the complaints about The Winchesters. I understand that people are entitled to their opinions and certainly can post them, but this was Jensen's first attempt at production and Robbie's as showrunner. Was the show perfect? No, but it was IMO a good one. The characters were fleshed out and interesting. The MOTW stories were more interesting than the Akrida, but having a weak Big Bad was nothing new in Supernatural either. I loved the Title card and was very, very impressed with getting the rights to "Ramble On" - Zeppelin is known for being very selective in giving rights to their songs. It is something Supernatural either couldn't do or didn't want to pay for. I was happy to see Dean in the finale and find out where/when/why he was visiting John and Mary. I also suspect that Misha was unavailable to appear and that Jack or probably Bobby was substituted for Cas. All in all, the show works well as a stand alone if, as I assume, it won't be getting another season at The CW. I made the mistake of reading the comments on TVLine regarding the show and cannot believe all the negativity and actual hatred for Dean/Jensen. I just don't get it. In every appearance, con, interview Jensen doesn't speak against anyone and is a gentleman. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about Jared, so again, I don't get all the vitriol regarding Jensen. And this viewer was glad that Dean got one more hunt after his untimely death and a more fitting end to his story.
  4. @Casseiopeia Thanks so much for finding this and sharing it. What a treat!!! This man amazes me for all the things mentioned/shown in the tweet.
  5. Happy Birthday Jensen. You've aged very well indeed. I'm glad to see that your good heart and soul are still evident.💗
  6. @Casseiopeia Love it!! I heard/read somewhere that the SN set had a grave site somewhere complete with a fully dug grave and the guys just had to do a couple of realistic shovels-full to "expose the skeleton/person". I had to admit though, they really sold the whole "this is hard work" look! 😄
  7. Those were my exact thoughts during the scene. This story takes place a few years or so before Dean goes back in time in " In the Beginning". Mary reiterates to Dean in ItB that she wants to get out of hunting and have a normal life. Yellow Eyes offered her that life along with bringing John back to her, so that may have been what "sealed the deal". (sorry, pun intended) But that too, would be a selfish reason. I guess what I'm trying to say is that perhaps Mary is selfish and driven when it comes to something she wants. She just doesn't realize it until given hard choices. As far as being an AU, someone mentioned here in a thread that TPTB said that this story is not an AU. If that is accurate, then yes, Mary changed her mind - perhaps for the reasons mentioned here.
  8. @Lastcall, I like your theory about Castiel stopping Dean's heavenly drive and sending him on a mission to stop the Arkrida from destroying our universe (or perhaps another) by going back in time. I don't have a problem of this story happening after Dean's death if it gives him an additional purpose of saving people and hunting things. I think they would send Dean back to heaven after successfully ridding the world of the Arkrida rather than a resurrection. Still a more satisfying ending to Dean's life and accomplishments. However, your idea is very creative!
  9. I enjoyed the episode quite a bit, and I'm a person who is no fan of Speight. But, he still portrayed his Loki just fine with his usual flamboyance. I'm impressed with Welling in his role of Samuel and as mentioned above, he has the no nonsense, gruff down pat. No, he doesn't look like OG Samuel, but I put that aside because this is not the OG show. In fact, we don't even know if this is our Dean, John or Mary; it could be a different universe. I enjoyed Millie's interactions with Samuel - it added a little spice to the mix. I actually like all of the new characters - especially Carlos. JoJo is a good actor, IMO. I was surprised when we saw the picture of Dean at the end. It definitely adds some mystery to the show as to when, where or how is Dean in that picture? So I'm looking forward to seeing where the show takes us in the last episodes.
  10. They are beautiful animals.
  11. According to Reuters as of 5:15 ET Monday, Jan.23 Western movie "Rust" will continue filming with Alec Baldwin in the lead role, a lawyer for the production said Monday, days after prosecutors said they would charge the actor in the fatal shooting of the movie's cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
  12. I was on my coloring app and I came across a family of foxes. As I was coloring them, all I could think of is Donno would love these foxes. He is a really great character!
  13. As they should! When an actor is given a gun, told it's "cold", how can that person be held responsible for a live bullet inside the supposed safe gun? Frankly, this whole situation is a mess. There should have been NO LIVE AMMUNITION on the set. Period!
  14. The answer to that is simply it's "Twitter". What else do you expect?
  15. I don't think so. Everyone who was in the room at the time Avery said that all he had to do is enter the amount and hit a button is dead. We don't even know what happened to his phone. That money would be in a numbered account somewhere, so who knows where it is and if anyone would ever get it.
  16. It was a tense episode and pretty good by Big Sky standards. I know it was necessary, but what bad guy dying on the floor tells the sheriff that he didn't kidnap anyone? No, he says FU. But with only one episode to go, they can't go looking for Emily and Denise everywhere the bad guys could have been. I won't even go into the ridiculousness of Buck wandering around after those hammer blows and kidnapping people. Jensen did a great job showing his panic/fear/anger/etc. I'm anxious to see what he brings in the finale. I also believe that he will survive and move back to Texas with Carla and Emily. Hope Donno survives as well. RIP Avery, you were an idiot. It's obvious that they are wrapping this storyline up next week, but I wonder if they're wrapping the show as well. I hope not - it's a fun watch if you don't take it too seriously. I guess we'll know soon.
  17. I don't think she's going to get back with the coffee. Ol' Lyle was trailing her. Like others here, love the lines Donno gets-the best of the episode! I was wondering where the title of the episode came from. Jensen did a great job as always. Did Avery's henchman really think a sheriff would turn his back on a guy with his gun on him and just walk away? Well, maybe Jenny. ;) But what Jensen really excels at showed up in his talk with Avery - first the anger about putting his ex-wife and daughter in danger, and then in a flash, the anger turning to guilt and fear when Avery told Beau that having killed that man, will cause much more harm. No words, just emotion, and then the anger returns with a hefty chair kick. That's the Ackting I came to see! And yes, to recreating the "Justified" Bennett family with Ma and her "boys", pigs and dilapidated surroundings. That cornhole game was weird though. So, only two episodes to go. I'm not sure why they shortened the season, with last season having 18 episodes. Maybe it is a sign of being the final season of show. If so, I'll miss Donno! :(
  18. @bethy Thanks for the screenshot. I'll be watching this wonderful episode today. Merry Christmas to all who celebrate. And best wishes to all for a wonderful New Year!
  19. Watching that was like walking down memory lane for me. I've seen so many of those movies or TV shows. I especially liked our little inclusion - quite an honor considering all the WB shows out there. Thanks for sharing!!💗
  20. Well, they had 16 the first season, 18 the second, and now only 13? Apparently, there is no method to their madness! 🙁 Either that, or the 13 episode count is wrong. Strange...
  21. I think it might be Paige. Walter took care of her and told her how to get away knowing he would be brought to the Sheriff's station. His caring for Paige was so obvious and I don't think we saw any romantic scenes between the two.
  22. They're going on a winter break after next week's episode 10. I seriously doubt they are only going to do 3 more. Last season was 18 episodes and they often have two stories during a season, so maybe Reba's story will end in Ep13, but the show will carry on.
  23. I agree that Beau has better chemistry with Cassie, but apparently they want her with Cormac. Personally, I don't think they're going to match Beau up with either one since we're half-way through the season and Jenny and Beau seem just like partners/friends. But Lordy, Beau and his ex have zero chemistry and after watching Jensen for over twenty years, I don't think he's the problem.
  24. Going back to the bar fight, I immediately thought that the "tourist" lady was a plant by whatever the company is that Beth screwed over. She picked out Rip from the entire bar, cozied up and then deliberately went over to Beth and whispered something to Beth before Beth hit her. I believe the whole thing was not random. I'm surprised no one has mentioned it here before me. ETA: I see that @RedHawk mentioned this theory in the other episode thread. Also, I know I'm in the minority, but I don't understand all of the comments about Jamie hopefully sticking it to Beth. Have people forgotten that he was okay with his biological father trying to kill off his entire adoptive family until Beth confronted him about it? What was the plan, so Jamie could inherit the whole damn Yellowstone Ranch? And daddy would just enjoy it with him? Wow! I'm sorry, but how can anyone think that's okay and that Jamie should "stick it to Beth"? In my opinion, Jamie should be in jail for covering up attempted murders.
  25. Well, that's the thing about spin-offs. When a show is loved (or was, such as the case may be) as much as Supernatural, most comparisons are going to fall way short of the original. Add to that, that the casting of Jensen and Jared was truly "lightening in a bottle". Their chemistry and interactions in the early seasons was some of the best I've seen (since The X-Files) and although it waned as the years went by, those early episodes were pure gold. It's very hard to come up with that again. Those of us who are fans of Supernatural were hoping - maybe expecting - that same great beginning. Unfortunately, lightening rarely strikes twice in the same spot - or in this case, same supernatural universe.
