I'm a few weeks behind on reading The Week Magazine, but I saw this today and it made me laugh... mostly because of the hair on "Joe".

For future reference, in addition to PBS, you can always tune in to C-SPAN. They carry all of the important events without any commentary.

He is on BlueSky, but you're right, it's not quite the same. Same with Chris Evans (notcaptainamerica). He's in both places, but somehow it's more fun when they're swatting away pests. Ah well...

I can't give up WhatsApp - all of my imaginary friends live in my phone! As for FB, I "inherited" the account when my sister died in 2021. I never post because it would freak out all of her friends, but this week, I'm going through and downloading all the interesting pictures so I can close the account. I find it incredibly boring. I do wish I could figure out how to save all the lovely messages about her, but other than screenshots, I don't know how. I will look into that. I also inherited her Twitter account, which I became rather fond of. I opened a BlueSky account a couple of months ago, but haven't closed Twitter yet because I love reading the Menswear guy eviscerate the right wing nut jobs that come for him. Fortunately, my feed there is mostly baseball and cute animals. I don't know how I managed to keep most of the MAGAs away, but...yay.

I have a current passport. I'm sure I'll be able to get in! 🍷 ETA: I just went from "red" to "wine". Wishful reading.... as always

It is mind-boggling to me that anyone in Canada is even bothering to acknowledge this clown's ramblings. What bullshit. My eyes have rolled so far back in my head that they're out in the driveway. (I know - they probably have to respond, but the whole thing is so very stupid... like him)

If only there was a way for it to snow more in your part of the county, but not in mine... 😉 Mr. ebk cleared a path in the driveway in case we need to go...somewhere. And the street is plowed! But hopefully, we won't have to leave the house for the rest of the week!!

I managed to time my grocery shopping perfectly - just as the Ravens game started! Empty parking lot and no lines at the checkout!!! Only thing was, they were out of bananas. Ah well... I'll make it a couple of days without. I have cookies, so it's all good. I still hate snow.

Randy Rainbow says it's "Jessica". Someone else (or maybe a publication, but I can't remember right now) says it's "Jezebel". I'll go with either of those, although "Judas" also works, but it's not as funny.

The only thing redeeming this show is Andy badmouthing the mayor. Which I see was the redeeming thing he did 2 years ago. Some things never change, for better or worse. And I'm still bitter about Kathy. Happy New Year!

This! This was all I could think about while he was standing there deciding whether to ruin the lives of everyone on that train, not to mention Alice's. I'm ambivalent about whether he comes back or not. I think it could work out either way for the rest of the characters. But if he'd done that - even the fact that he was contemplating it - made me really anxious, and angry.
