I think there needed to be some better editing to show what "fruit and vegetables" kept Dani alive for 21 days. All we saw was a big leaf and a red nut, yet she never complained of being hungry. She must have done some serious research of edible plants in the Colombian jungle because I doubt she found an abandoned farm with a garden.

I rewatched this old episode last night. Shane was such an angry, psychotic guy. Must be from all those years of living in foster homes. His parents threw him out of the house when he was six??? Kim was such a nice person, yet he bitched about her. I'm surprised he was chosen to do the challenge, considering his nasty personality.

I liked Darren. He had such a good attitude and wonderful skills. His partner became a hindrance rather than a helper. Why didn't they attempt to spear some fish? There must have been crabs among those rocks.

I agree that Tim looked very much like RM when he was young. He's a good actor and plays such a sweet character. I don't believe that Delia's mother had a clue that her daughter was a lesbian. Patsy acted like any caring friend and didn't give any clues that she and Delia were anything more than best friends. My best friend and I shared an apartment in the late 50s, and we weren't/aren't lesbians. It was quite the normal thing to do when you left home to work in another city. In those days, girls didn't live with their boyfriends before marriage. I also would have been devastated if my friend had been in a serious accident.

Maybe she got tired of those long winter days and nights without indoor plumbing and having to trek to the outhouse. It takes a special kind of person to live in those conditions. I think men handle it better than women.

I never miss an episode, but I had forgotten much of Ep.1, Season 1, so I watched last night. Does anyone know how long Rick was in that coma? Those flowers looked like they hadn't been there for more than two weeks. If it had been much longer, I don't think Rick could have survived. He would have been so dehydrated that he would have looked like a mummy. When he awoke and got up, he didn't have any problems with his legs or wasn't weak. And it seems like Lori moved on pretty fast with Shane. Another reason I'm glad she's gone.

We saw a church spire last night, but it may not be a Catholic church. I hope Deanna doesn't believe that Rick and his family are bad people. They've only killed to keep themselves alive. She needs to get them all together and insist they tell her about their lives post-ZA: Hershel and the farm, life at the prison, the Governor, Terminus. If she knew the truth about them, I think she'd be thankful they are in Alexandria. She and her group have been safe and really don't know how bad life is beyond those walls.

And what about Michone and those dreadlocks? I know that hairstyle is a cultural thing, but her head must be so hot in those Georgia summers. Why not allow her to have the short cut that is the actresses' normal look? I bet Rick's new barber could do a nice job.

Thanks, kikismom. Seems like they'd had more luck not going to a cosmopolitan area. They should have found an unoccupied lodge around a big lake where they could fish and grow a garden. Maybe that's for the future.

If there was discussion on this subject, I missed it. Where exactly is this Alexandria? It certainly isn't part of the actual city, which is surrounded by more suburbs. This area is rural, so is it the 'new' Alexandria? Why must they scout for bunnies and possums to kill instead of driving their vehicles into the city to check out the Costco, Walmarts, and various large supermarkets for supplies? Is the D.C. area so full of live people in hiding that there are no supplies left? How can this community have commerce and government when it's so small? We haven't seen all the buildings, but it can't be very large or the wall would have taken years to build. So many questions about this place, and I hope we get some answers.

Here's one viewer who doesn't agree. I think Rick just really wants Alexandria to be a safe place to settle for his children's sake, and he's willing to give these people a chance.

I don't consider that a confession. I really think that Victor gave that sex potion to Kelly to spray on herself, and it had a very intense affect on Jack. Probably a bit dangerous to put on the market.
