And she hadn't graduated yet in S1?
-
Was this after S1? I thought I read somewhere that these shorts focused on events before S1.
-
Tomorrow then. :)
-
Has this aired in the US? Can we discuss yet? Saw it here in Canada a couple of hours ago.

So could this German crew be some of Mike's guys that he pays in perpetuity?

To the question of the point of Howard's scene in the bathroom: I believe, based on his half-whispered "What's wrong with me?", that Jimmy really intended to see that shrink. The main purpose of the scene with Howard was to reinforce Jimmy's doubts that a shrink could help him. Of course it also helped show the different ways these guys are processing the guilt over Chuck's death: one man knows exactly what's bothering him and is trying to face it and deal with it, while the other is in complete denial. When it finally breaks through, Jimmy's reaction will be a lot worse than insomnia.

I think they knew he was giving an unrealistic estimate.

I don't think Al was bitten. People that happens to don't get better.
-
I thought it dropped in the water.

How about this? Chuck wrote the letter not long before his death, and it is absolutely brutal Before giving it to Jimmy, Kim wanted to be sure so she read it first, so she could be prepared to support Jimmy as he read it Unbeknownst to her, Jimmy found the letter and has already read it When he reads it to her, he speaks cavalierly and changes the words to something bland and not requiring emotional support from Kim because he just doesn't want to go there Kim, knowing what the letter really says but thinking Jimmy is seeing it for the first time (ETA or suspecting he's already read it), believes that Jimmy is lying his way through the letter because he doesn't want her support and is pushing her away In truth, though, I actually do believe the letter was written, as we heard it, by Chuck before Jimmy earned his law degree. It would have been too easy for Kim to look over his shoulder and see that he wasn't reading what was actually on the page (which was typewritten, as you can see from the picture at the top of the recap).

Me too. I was so disappointed that scene didn't end with a bullet to the head. I saw an article today that the writers used "The Grove" as inspiration for this episode. In my opinion they didn't go far enough. Are they really going to try to make Alicia the anchor of this show? Mistake.

All Episodes Talk: Just Your Normal Average American Town

I think that was a robot chicken? -
I have the same preferences. Gave it an episode and a half, but since it just seems like more of the same, I don't think there's enough to hold me.

Nick overused it so much it became boring and trite. I will miss Madison. I hope Alicia and Charlie die soon. Ambivalent about Luciana. I would be fine with just John, Naomi, Morgan, and Strand going forward.
-
Of the three of them, I prefer Madison.
-
Guys that was beautiful. I literally cried. I want John to find Naomi and for them to be the center of the show. Morgan can stay too.

Hickey threatened to torture/kill Hodgson if Goodsir didn't butcher Gibson.

So I don't think the first party cannibalized each other, they were only 18 miles away from the ships. Whatever happened, they were dead within a day or two of leaving.

This is a very good show but I'm kind of disappointed it wasn't the show I thought it would be when I first saw the trailers. I was convinced it would turn out that they got stuck in the ice and then were come upon by Frankenstein's monster, still up in the Arctic after all those years.

Wasn't that Rhea Seehorn playing the animal rescue tech?
-
Actually, wasn't old-school TV episodic? All questions answered by the end of the hour? At least until "Hill Street Blues" (RIP Steven Bochco)
-
Didn't they all go to Hilltop?

So is Jadis going to go off and found another (comic) group?

Right? If the grafted consciousness is the stronger one, why not just graft Voq into Ash and be done with it? Way too convoluted the way they did it.

All that buildup to Eugene's master plan, and his talk about his machines, I thought we'd find out he had this awesome Rube Goldberg thing happening to get them out of the Sanctuary. But it was just strategic shooting? They needed Eugenius for that?
