So far, Asylum is the only season I've purchased. Unless it all falls apart in the finale, I'll be buying this one too.

!'m not sure why it's a plot hole that we haven't seen everyone who died in the hotel come back as a ghost. Just because we haven't seen them doesn't mean they're not there. We've only seen the ones that will impart information to the audience and/or further a story line in some way. Otherwise, I assume they're wandering around getting used to their new situation. I don't need to see Sally's drug couple or the hipsters to understand that they're very likely to be hotel ghosts. I do wonder about Tristan though. I would have thought he and Liz would at least commiserate over their lost potential.

Mark my words: when we get a male companion, it will mean they are about to regenerate the Doctor into a woman. Because NuWho just can't have a Doctor-Companion relationship that is not opposite sexed, it seems.

Guys, why am I feeling some affection for Chris and Logan? They kind of remind me of real people instead of media personalities or wanna-be actors. I'm glad Justin lost, but I kind of wish Chris and Logan won. Because they were the underdogs maybe?

Saw this in the recap: I got the impression she didn't know what happened to Valentino, only that he disappeared. She only realized that March was behind it after they finally came out of the wall.
-
OMG can Liz Taylor get her own show, please?!

Anyone else thinking that Peggy will kill Ed when he tries to drag her back in to reality? She won't die though, she'll be arrested.

I think folks missed my earlier question so I will repeat and hope one of you knows the answer: He said something after drawing that line in the sand while facing down the hovering ship, but I missed it. Does anyone remember what he said?

Her only purpose was to allow all the "clever" word games: "The hybrid is Me." "Who's knocking?" ... "Me." That's the sum total of her purpose.

I don't think we're seeing them melt down due to stress. I think this is their default behaviour, so they know how to cope that way. Chris: Logan, we're out of orange juice! Logan: I TOLD YOU!! I TOLD YOU TO STOP AND GET SOME ON THE WAY HOME LAST NIGHT!! Chris: I THOUGHT WE STILL HAD SOME LEFT! I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE ENOUGH FOR BOTH OF US! Logan: PUT THAT DOWN! THAT'S MINE! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO FORGOT SO YOU'RE THE ONE WHO DOESN'T GET ANY!!! Chris: FINE! I'M LEAVING!! Logan: FINE, JUST LEAVE! I'LL SEE YOU TONIGHT!! LOVE YOU! Chris: LOVE YOU TOO!!

Moffat is a high-concept writer. He's a visionary. There's a reason that the one with the vision and those who execute are different people. Big idea folks usually aren't very good at the detailed work required to execute properly. That was primarily a 3rd Doctor thing. Which is cool because, with the prickly attitude, the grey hair, and the velvet jacket Capaldi feels like a Pertwee throwback. The 3rd was my favourite.

No, I don't think so.

I had the same thought. It was no worse than if the general had just laid down for a short nap. I figured it proximity to home must make the difference. OMG that special looks like so much fun! Those two are going to be great together! Maybe this is where they fall for each other and eventually get married. I didn't mind her as much as usual either. Probably because she spent most of the episode more clueless than Doctor-like. More like companions of old. It was great. Then it got ruined at the end when she got immortality, and her own TARDIS. Hopefully we'll never see her again. He said something after drawing that line, but I missed it. Does anyone remember what he said? BTW, now that Clara's gone, I think I'm really going to enjoy Capaldi's Doctor!

I'm pretty sure I noticed him give a side-eye at Phil. I was specifically watching for a reaction.

You see, that first part is why, for me, the second part isn't true. Since the stories seem like they will repeat ad infinitum, then as soon as there are no more characters left on the show that you are interested in watching, you can quit the show. Why watch characters you are ambivalent about go through motions you've seen a dozen times?

I am shocked that Chris and Logan are still in this at all, let alone winning the penultimate leg against teams that have been beating them all along. They may not deserve it, but I'd love to see them win, just to watch Justin's head explode. Justin is clearly not a resilient person, is he? Free Diana!
-
Not really. He lost his son because he couldn't put down his wife. Then he was just killing people indiscriminately.
-
But how many times do we have to see that story play out? I'm bored. There's historical precedent for progress and civilization too. Let's see some of that for a while. There's still plenty of drama in interpersonal relationships, governance structures, the occasional one-off bad guy, and...oh yeah...frakkin' zombies!

Why?
-
Wasn't Deanna making quick-draw headshots within 5 minutes of picking up a gun for the first time? That's hilarious.
-
They must have had the kid walking on his knees in that last shot to make it look like he was still shorter than his mom.

This seems to be Kirkman's raison d'etre. Wash, rinse, repeat for the next 10+ years.

You know, it's your guys' fault that I can't remember his actual name anymore.
