I was pretty surprised they didn't chat more about the Oscars today, and I don't mean best dressed etc, but who won, etc. A lecture on one card from Producer of the Oscars WG was boring. Let alone not mentioning VD - whether one cares for her non-actress personality or not. Or the first Muslim......etc.

I don't like GDF - they take over the show and spoil HT's. Plus, I'm not fond of any of them. It's like the prior guest co-hosts for years, it's all about them for the first or two of the 20 segments allowing for the commercials. Bring them on as guests.

OMG - I just can't with her. Put the cinnamon and sugar in a shaker, toast the bread in a toaster, butter, shake. Why does she have to go to such lengths and trouble to kill off her family?

I agree Haleth - I don't think they realize what the HT's will be until their meeting when they get in - so it must be hectic to prepare for a discussion in just a little time. I appreciate that she does this.

I agree Morgalisa - not right but I understand. Two different things. And she was caught and went through what she legally had to....yet, deported.

Sigh - sure hope WG is not there Fri. BTW - why is she so often? But I agree - I'm not a fan of a guy there on Fri - no matter what guy.

I go to pinterest a lot for recipes - rather than kits it seems like sheet pan meals are very popular now. Throw the protein (meat, seafood, pork, chicken) on the sheet pan along with veggies - and roast! Done. Little clean up. I am always astounded on the number of pans, bowls, mason jars etc that she uses to prepare a meal. Well - her meals. I get real chefs use a lot but I think the end justifies the means. Oh - I'm also so disappointed she is allowing her production company from copying the Barefoot Contessa's format more and more. Good grief - just invite the cowboy and his girlfriend over for dinner and be done with it rather than having him drive over for his/their meal.

Right on Kemper - but she likes to chirp now and again and try and say something before she fails to make a point anyone at the table picks up on. Especially Joe - unless it is about him.

I think Paula does try to play the Devil's advocate. And I don't like it one bit. It is called The View for a reason. I think she is just trying to be impartial to keep her job here and GMA. But not really seeing her a knock out reporter and I am not fond of her games or Jediblahblahs.

OMG - I simply cannot stand Jed - especially when she sits there with a smirk on her face and agrees with others - but carries on - and then laughs like a hyena. She has never given me a pause to consider anything. And to go back many years - I loved when Rosie was on (except when Whoopi was) and I could think about the discussion and her points. Thought provoking. Whether I agreed with her or not. Not with Jed. Beginning to think Sarah sits these discussions out (kind of like CCB) and not liking it - although I find Sarah kind of fun usually. Yeah to WG on her rant about DeVos. sigh Jed- I could care less that FOX and Brietbart told you not to come on this show - oh, they didn't keep you did they? And you have never given me pause for thought. LOL - Omarosa is more popular than you in the present Presidential staff. Barely been here - we had a snow dump on the 5th and my Comcast (phone, cable, internet) was out 80% of the time for 8 days. I think I received a credit of about $85 and 3 months of HBO/Showtime. The snow was gone on the 7th. Somehow I managed to whip myself into a frenzy, lol.

If one googles the first black male to earn a doctorate is questionable - Du Bois (Harvard 1895), Bouchet (Yale 1876). Go figure. I'm not defending WG because I am not a fan of hers - but it is questionable and whatever the year or the person - it was important. But, I do like when people try and make things right -

Yikers - I don't know what possessed me to watch. sigh Golly - wouldn't this be the time to pull out a frozen dinner, or do a 16 minute meal? Do you ever stop and taste the food for seasonings? A nickle lemonade stand and split the profit among 3? Not rinse the canned beans for the "Tuscan" soup? And do the stupid .com crap for the 12th time? Not a fruit or vegetable in sight.

I'm curious - a 5 city takes what amount of time? At the most 2 weeks?

Really - I am so sick of Jed and Whoopi monopolizing the time. I want more Joy and Sunny and even, imo, Sarah is becoming more involved.

Thanks Chessiegal - Perhaps I was confused because the (repeat) show I saw today was about their college rival teams. I thankfully probably missed the new show perhaps what with the Super Bowl coming up next Sunday.
