  1. I really like the show but have to second the not very good part. For me at least, every scene with her lessens the overall show. I mean she is really bad. Glaringly, noticeable, scene destroyingly bad. If this was low budget scifi it would be one thing, but everyone else is totally fine.....
  2. I wouldn’t be surprised if Babe Neuworth is leaving. She really seems like someone who’s more theater than tv. 3 years is a good un, I can see her wanting something different.
  3. I will keep watching the show because it's light and frothy, but it really is unrealistic. I actually thought the amount they were paid seemed low for what they do. Trials take a lot of time. Lawyers generally bill by the hour. I know not everyone on bulls team is a lawyer, but some are. The types of lawyers they generally talk about having on this show, from big NYC law firms bill close to or in excess of 1000 an hour. 250k or even 500k is not that much money given those rates. 3 senior people, 165 hours basically. Most NY lawyers bill like at least 180 hours a month
  4. He mentioned actually that he specializes in penis impotence/dysfunction I think.
  5. She won't be next to go-she has now positioned herself as the swing vote and built trust with all 4 remaining. Alan clearly is gunning for one of JP and whatshername. They think Alan is an unstable loose canon. Its seems pretty clear to me that its likely to be the 2 pairs with her as a swing.

Is it too late to join?
  7. I love this show!! It's all my favorite things all rolled into one! Cheesy apocalypse porn! Deadly infections that turn people crazy! Murderous heroes! Bad guys that are secretly demons! Myths come to life! Road trip! This is awesome. I will enjoy the hell out of this for as long as they let me.
  8. I liked it. Honestly this is what I was hoping for when Fear the walking dead started. I'm interested in the reaction of the authorities and the CDC to a lethal outbreak like this in a longer form than a 2 hour movie. I like that there are some regular civilians in the mix too. It's a good blend so far of civilians and non civilians. For a pilot episode I thought it did a decent job of introducing things. It also helps that I've liked Claudia black since Farscape.

    S01.E08: E.A.B.

I am so sad that I can't bring myself to like this show. I keep hanging in there due to moments I like, but seriously Richie has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Can the show next season be refocused around Lester, the guy in the mailroom who actually appears to be finding a new sound (not that I was thrilled with his sadsack persona until just now) and I suppose the wife so long as she is living at the Chelsea. Richie is just an asshole and on top of the character being written as an asshole its being overacted to death. This is a great era and hte people involved are so good. why is this not better.
  10. So, am I the only person who thinks the roan character was brought in as a new love interest for Clark? Maybe I'm way off base, but the reluctant captor thing they had going on plus the becoming allies? It just screams new love interest to me. In light of that, what they are doing with Bellamy makes sense to me. He needs to be anti grounder first off to set up conflict with he and Clark and also to tarnish him to the audience. I mean I think it's terribly cliche, but they have now set up Clark, Lexa and roan as like power trio. So to have a good love triangle you need to get rid of the other options.
  11. I'm almost 50 but I don't think this show is overtly sexual any more than other stuff I watch. The premise is about a woman pretending to be 20 something in Manhattan. Frankly I'd be more surprised if it was less overtly sexual. Perhaps I've been jaded by pay channel shows and the Internet, but this is on in the evening and Liza is dating a guy in his 20s. Seems pretty normal to me given the lifestyles being presented here to have this much sexual content. I do agree though that I'm not a fan of what they are doing with Diana. She is being portrayed as more and more desperate and more and more shrill. A woman who has gotten to her position would not be acting this childishy, even if the feelings they are attempting to portray were accurate. There could have been a really nice examination through the contrast with Diana and Liza about getting older in a professional urban environment that could have been really compelling done well. But they've reduced it to caricatures of the desperate older woman. It's a shame really.
  12. This episode was worse than the pilot. The acting is generally terrible except for boss lady, tech girl, black agent basically, although that might in part be the writing. The lines they give lead agent are generally terrible and he appears to be making them all SERIOUS! I thought this episode was barely entertaining and I mostly was ok with the pilot. Not a good sign that this was less entertaining. Huh it wasn't quite over. The lead is really bad. Cringeworthy. Like I can't believe this is network television bad.
  13. I tried. I like historical (Rome, Vikings etc), I like fantasy (game of thrones), watch violence, gore and sex no problem. I even like A Knights Tale, campy pseudo history. I could not bring myself to get past the first half an hour. I almost always watch with captioning due to shitty sound on my tv, so it's not even the accents. Although the captioning was bad too, I swear it skipped whole bits of dialogue. This was a hot mess. A boring hot mess. And I like extended world building stuff, so it wasn't that there wasn't enough plot. It was just dumb half the time. The sheepfucker joke went on wayyyy to long, I got it the first time and didn't needed it repeated 6 different ways. I'm not sure why I'm supposed to care if the baron is constipated, unless that's why he's such a lousy lay? I had high hopes for this show too. I watched more as it felt unfair to only give it 30 minutes. More sheepfucker jokes. And bad acting, particularly the rebels and the sheep lover. Although the guy trying to get main character to meet with other rebels isn't bad (and looks familiar). And how did the messenger get back to the baron, and the baron and entourage ride out and beat the rebels to the village? That makes no sense. The soundtrack is too loud. It's intrusive. This is excruciatingly awful. I give up at 1 hour and 6 minutes
  14. I agree, the case of the week isn't necessarily the draw, it's the characters interactions around that. Enjoyed Lucien taking the role he did and how he's Super competently just getting stuff done. I'm not sure we got to know the temporary deputy enough to miss him or have much opinion one way or the other. Although I do feel another deputy in the office would be good for the cast, with branch gone plus the (I assume) increase police presence needed due to the new casino opening, 3 of them will be hard put to cover everything. I have to assume Cassino should bring people and money to town and increased police budget. Or at least it would in the real world? Is it just me or does there seem to be a real change in the music? I don't remember this show having music over scenes like it seems to now? Is it new or was I not paying attention? Whatever it is, I like the song choices and think work well.
  15. Agree with seamusk, the spoilers aren't cool. I'm just watching one at a time then coming to read. Way to apparently spoil not only a specific resolution of something but also a season long arc/general sense of how things go. That said, I too was super surprised how quickly it all unraveled. Wonder if was in part for budget reasons, Gerald McRaney perhaps expensive and a 3 episode arc this season would surely be cheaper than season long. Also wonder if they learned lesson about dragging stuff out after last season. So far I'm enjoying this Netflix season. The episodes seem a bit longer which leaves some room I think for character stuff which in prior seasons would have been an extra posted or cut after first showing. I like seeing Henry do the Hector thing too.
  16. I actually meant starting that late at night. 11 pm isn't really prime viewing hour. ;) Yes I was aware of the last season, late renewal stuff.
  17. So I just checked my dvr, syfy premiere appears to be next Friday at 11pm. Sort of an awfully late time for first run new season premiere. :(. I'm hoping the guide is wrong. I also don't see any kind of marathon or opportunity to re watch the last few episodes of season 3 currently in the guide except at 5 am on Friday they are showing episode 13 of season 3. This doesn't seem like auspicious scheduling.
  18. So I'm not sure what category to post in, but based on my experiences looking for this show to start watching it, it's pretty clear to me that the ratings aren't going to go up at this point since there is no possible way for me to catch up on it legally without paying per episode. It's so frustrating that a few of these networks only make the last 5 episodes available to watch streaming without having to pay. I pay for Hulu, I have all the apps for all the networks. There is still no legal way to watch this show and I'm not going to pay per episode when I don't even know if I like it. Both this and killjoy. I didn't realize these shows started until clearly way late but to not even make the pilot available to watch free is just stupid. Jane the virgin had same issue-when it got an Emmy nomination I was going to check it out. Wasn't available so I said to hell with it.
  19. I just saw a commercial for this. All I could think was isn't this basically the same show as falling skies on the other coast. I'll probably watch at least the pilot for josh holloway, but from the creators of lost isn't really a plus in my book given how that ended.
  20. This whole thing is nonsensical. So if the premise is that we destroyed ourselves by environmental causes due to the way humans lived, why oh why, after waiting 2000 years for the earth to reboot, would you set up a totally fake town built to replicate the exact same way of life that caused the destruction? It seems fairly clear to me that you wake up the volunteers and slowly (key word here, slowly) build something super environmentally friendly, growing super slowly so that it's all sustainable with sustainability being the primary and clearly stated goal. You don't replicate useless crap we have and do now. Then you wake up non volunteers slowly, integrating them into a functioning group that is stable and knows the truth. If they had done that to start with they would have had 12 years of building a sustainable new way of life and have plenty of people woken up by now and reproducing. Even if they started that way with group B. Why do they use plastics? Why do they eat all that meat instead of focusing on more plant based sustainable nutrition. All the houses we've seen look like standard 2015 new construction, I see no obvious eco friendly construction. There aren't even solar panels or water reclaiming stuff. This nonsense with basically 2 separate functioning societies, one of which provides all supplies for, controls and spies on the second unknowing society is beyond stupid. So they don't get envious of the ppl with lawns and barbecues and fake jobs? They are cool living in underground bunkers? Forever? Dating only each other and not the entire other population of people? And to make it all just that much more stupid, between the spying and the providing supplies, where do they have the time and man power to actually be working on sustainability, and where is that taking place? If the volunteers are a large enough group to control and supply the whole town, how was it not a large enough group to form the basis of the new civilization? The mayflower had 102 passengers. It's not like small groups can't build small functioning societies that grow slowly over time as new people show up.
  21. I'm afraid I didn't like it so much. I thought much of the dialogue (perhaps a direction issue) seemed terribly stilted. It seemed like an awful waste of good actors. Agree with this. Also, while I love veep, the parts of veep that are ludicrous feel like they build out of something closer to realistic? This just jumped into ridiculous without build up or something. I didn't think this was very good and I wanted to like it.
  22. If what they just presented as the truth is supposed to actually be what is going on it's ludicrous and badly done. As many have pointed out, the plot holes are huge. How do you save the human race with a finite amount of supplies and keeping them all in the dark doing fake nonproductive jobs. There is no indication that there is any attempt at all to be self sustaining. Even if the plan was to keep the adults in the dark and have the first generation being self sustaining, there is no indication whatsoever that they are actually teaching them anything other than this is a big secret. There is no rationing, there's no agriculture, there is no livestock. If this is supposed to be what is really going on I will be irritated with the lack of logic and any other type of rational reality. I agree that VR, giant government experiment, time travel or something else makes more sense. I also am still stuck on the crickets. Did they all get eaten? Is it a location hint? Apparently there are some place crickets don't generally live at high latitudes?
  23. So, I really liked Kimberly, however, despite r her performance, I frankly just don't think dirty Diana is that great a song. I wanted to root for her but last night I didn't think she was not boring. Although frankly I thought they were all pretty boring. I'm the farthest thing from conservative and I don't think dirtY Diana was a factor due to being provocative so much as due to being not terribly popular to most people. It's not a very good song and not really a fan of mj. Honestly I was puzzled last night when I saw all the posts about how that was best thing since sliced bread since my reaction was pretty much yawn.
  24. If she were my partner on the race I would have likely murdered her by now and be in jail in a foreign country.
  25. I agree that I think it would be good if ratings grew. Although it's the CW 's own fault with Jane the virgin. After the award win only the first three episodes and the most recent few were available. I searched CW website, iPad app and Hulu because I was going to try to catch up, but there were like 3 episodes I would have had to pay for. While I'm perfectly aware how to find those episodes, not being able to get free and easy to stream to the TV turned me off so I didn't bother.
