All I could think of when Caroline wanted the kids to spend Christmas with her, and did her quick "I'm assuming you're ok with coming for Christmas" to Kendall is...what about his kids? Ones that she didn't seem to take into consideration. Certainly now that he's divorced, Rava isn't going to appreciate him taking the kids to another country for the holidays. Which means he probably doesn't get to see his own children for Christmas.

Yes, but the boy grabbed the wheel and swerved the car, which I think is what the poster was referring to.

A trip to the UK finds the Roy kids negotiating with their mother; Logan turns to Rhea for advice. Jeremy Strong broke my heart in this episode. You could just see him physically wilt and wanting to apologize to those parents so badly and knowing he can’t. Kendall just wanted acknowledgment and love from one of his parents and he couldn’t even get that. JS deserves some award love for this season; he is killing it. I may never forgive this show for denying me scenes of a Tom and Greg sleepover.

I'm a couple eps behind and catching up and WOW in this episode, I was reminded why I hated Nikki so much her season. Christ, does she have an off switch? I'm also pissed Oli changed his vote to Janelle after being VERY solid on Cam being the worst. What, do those two just not want Dave to be the deciding vote?

"Gregory" killed me and I bet now that he got a better job and more money (per Tom last week), he's trying to go by a more formal name to seem more serious.

A friend of mine at work and I have begun to call a lot of things "Executive level business!" when we're doing mundane tasks. And it's a quote that works better in gif form, but we so rarely see Kendall smile, and him screaming "Fam-ily Ther-a-py" cracks me up every time I think about it. Just the glee he had.

It interesting that when the pressure of being successor is on each of the Roy children, they fall apart (first Kendall, now Shiv, and even Roman can't execute when he thinks his dad is counting on him), but when they aren't in the hot seat, they thrive. And I guarantee that comes from Logan's obsessive focus on winning - he never set his children up to truly succeed because he doesn't want them to "beat" him. The part with Nan killed me, because she made such a big show earlier of making sure the chef should take some time off and telling her she worked hard, but when it came down to it, she didn't acknowledge her in front of the whole group. She was putting on a show as much as The Roys were.

I must admit, I ended up crying at the actual sweet sibling moment between Kendall and Shiv. From her face going from "What is this?" to "Oh, my brother is really hurting" in two seconds, to his "I don't know what I would be for", they broke my damn heart.
-
I must admit, I literally gasped when Shiv said "tell them its me!" at dinner. She just cracked under the pressure, because now she's the one in the spotlight, not Kendall (or Roman, but Roman was never really on the table as a serious successor IMO). I did feel bad for Tom knowing that no matter what happened that weekend, he was set to be the sacrificial lamb for getting the deal done. I think no matter what, Logan set him up to be shit on knowing that they could easily say "Oh, he won't be in charge of programming" and make it look like they were giving something up. And MAN did Matthew Macfadyen make my heart break when he told Shiv "You could stop beating up on me too." Tom could've been such a one note buffoon, and MM has really made him into a real person to care for. Logan should also be careful at how much he shits on Gerri. The constant "She's not going to take over" is going to get him in trouble eventually.

"Buckle up Fucklehead" might have been my favorite line from the first season. Though, "My therapist said if dad had more therapy, I wouldn't need as much" hit devastatingly close to home.

And once again, I was instantly proven wrong!

Speculate away! I always guess wrong, but I'm throwing my hat in that with IT: Chapter 2 coming out in September, Bill Hader will host again.

The more episodes I watch, the more I’m annoyed by the inclusion of Ani. I can buy that she would be friends with all of them quickly, because I remember being a teenager and in high school, sometimes new friends immediately become your friends that are around all the time. What I don’t think would happen is that they would immediately include her in everything that’s been happening, to the point where they would trust her. Tell her bits and pieces? Maybe. Actually trust her? Nah. And really, if they wanted someone other than Hannah’s VO to drive the narration, why wouldn’t you make it Sheri? Or Courtney, Jessica? Someone who has actually been involved with everything? Sheri is just the most apparent because she’s disappeared. Marcus I can at least buy that he graduated, but that wasn’t the case with Sheri and all of a sudden she’s just...gone.

I could really do without the attempted redemption arc of Bryce. I really don't give a shit that life isn't going well for him and that no one likes him, and WOW the show barking is up the wrong tree if it thinks I'm going to care.

Man, "By accident" isn't necessarily something I want when talking about a tattoo about to go on my body.

I liked it. Tori Spelling really is at her best when she's doing a parody of herself. When I first thought the dream sequence was real, I was annoyed, but the second Tori said "Just when I think things are slowing down BOOM, I fall in a hibachi", I was on board.

This is the 3-Coaches team season all over again. When Roly was the worst in the portrait challenge, but they couldn't leave Team Steve with no one (and you could see that realization happen ON CAMERA), so Deanna went home.

I feel very confident saying that Tito and Marcelino watched this to get hyped up and practice their "fight" for the cameras

Each week, Paul ups the ante and gives me a new line I want to cross stitch on a pillow. This week, "But the Brazilian government thinks I'm a terrorist and I'm pretty nervous about that" made me lose it.

No, you’ve got them flipped around — Fon is the one that went home last night, Pon is the one who did the wizard. Easy mistake to make because their names are similar. In other news, we now have clarification on what Kelly’s emergency was because people are assholes ETA - Looks like she deleted the instagram post; her grandfather passed away but she had to post that clarification because people were speculating on her instagram that she left because she was "disgusted" in the mens team and didn't want to be there for the judging.
-
I may be a cold asshole, but I couldn't do anything but smirk when Cam started crying. His ego got in the way and it's his own damn fault for not listening to Kelly when she told him what to do. And God Bless Laura for looking out for herself and thinking strategically - I like her. Can I have a show of just Kelly snarking on contestants? I was dying; I love her. Jime and Kelly were awesome coaches; they were more helpful coaches than when we had the season of Anthony/DJ/Steve being coaches all season.

I know I should hate Evelin, but I just can't. She's not even trying to pretend she doesn't hate Cory, and that dumb dumb just keeps throwing money at her. I think my neighbors heard me laughing at "You being here is really annoying."

How they are portraying Cam is really reminding me of how...Josh(? I think that was his name) from a few seasons ago was portrayed. The one from the seasons where they had 3 returning coaches who was on DJ's team and won. The party line and all the editing made him look like an ass, but then when he was actually interacting with his teammates, he was a good guy and a good teammate. I think Cam is probably the same way - knows he was cast to be a cocky jerk, so he just is playing the part. I did think it was interesting Cam considered his style to be the same as Jason and Laura's. I haven't really thought of him as a new school guy.
