I loved that when they all came out and “reappeared” after Pete brought them back, that Mikey was out there instead of Alex You know, I don’t always love Scarlett Johansson, but I thought she was pretty funny in this episode — “Oh no, what will we do without his paycheck” actually made me laugh out loud”. I was actually surprised at how non-reactive the audience was to a lot of the jokes — not just from her, but from everyone. The Hallmark skit and the hot tub one, it was especially apparent.

All I could think about with the stem cell guy was the recent podcast "Bad Batch", which was all about a prominent stem cell company using shady practices and some of the stem cells not even being stem cells. It immediately made me give him the side eye. I really loved the guest shark. She knew her shit and pressed them on things - I LOVED how quickly she shut down Mark during the stem cell convo and didn't let him talk over everything.

It still gets me that the first Vincent Price sketch was Bill and Kristin's sixth episode ever. They both completely own the sketch, and it's so hard to think now of any featured players that get to star in their own sketches without having previously worked on SNL in any capacity (like Mikey)

If Chance released his monologue as a single, I would buy it. He finally voiced my truth about liking Angel better than Buffy. He is so high energy and i loved every second he was on screen. He can come back whenever he wants. I cannot day enough good things about Alex Moffat’s “Eric” impression. It never fails to make me laugh; the pure joy at seeing his toy work, trying to imitate Mikey but being a beat behind? It’s perfection.

This has been mentioned a couple times, but they actually set it up in the season 1 finale that Kendall knew about the documents Greg had. Greg came to him at the wedding and told him about it after Greg was trying to make sure he didn't get fired. I'm not sure if they knew back then that this was how they'd pay it off, but Kendall has had the info in his back pocket for a bit.

I must admit, Tom starting to tear up during the testimony and then his full on crying and hurt when he got back to their situation room did me in. Matthew Macfadyen could've played that as angry, and yet he did it as hurt, and it was so much better that way. The Roman part took me by surprise, and even though I was pretty sure Kieran Culkin wasn't going anywhere, I was still on the edge of my seat for a little bit. At first, I thought it was a strong arm negotiation tactic. I truly don't know what made me laugh more, "You can't make a Tomlette without breaking a few Greggs" or "Go you fucking lovely bastards"

One thing I noticed that I forgot to mention before - when Gerri said "Another round of boar on the floor", Shiv didn't seem surprised at all or even register it as being something strange. Which means either Tom told her (which I kind of doubt) or Boar on the Floor was something that happened often enough in the Roy household that she knows exactly what it is.

Season Premiere!

This is the first time in awhile I've actually liked all three finale contestants and thought each had an equal shot of winning. I'm happy for Laura, but I was really rooting for Dani, especially after she had so many good tattoos during the season that were never recognized.
