Did the Abbotts always have a dog, this was the first time I noticed. Everybody is so weird, I can't relate to any of them, except maybe that guy who likes Fritos. Anybody know why Wayne Tillerson was so in love with that rock, you would have thought he would pay the guy for bringing it to him.

S02.E02: Mushrooms, Tasers, and Bears, Oh My!
AnimeMania replied to Bort's topic in The Flight Attendant
I am not really enjoying this, I think it lost all of the things that made the first Season so interesting. It is too glossy and overly complicated compared to the first Season. First Season, nobody really cares who killed the guy and why, people wanted to know if Cassie was going to get herself killed because of her compulsive need to try and figure out what happened. This season the bombing is the focus of the story and is needlessly complicated with tons of additional side stories and shady characters. I am already forgetting a lot of crucial details. First Season, was slow, casual and funny. This season everybody talks so fast and the amount of information thrown at you is too much. First Season, Cassie was pretty much alone with maybe one other person helping her figure out what was going. This season Cassie has so many friends and people helping her, it kind of makes your head spin. Why is Cassie lying so much for no good reason, she is just lying to be lying. Grace is going to think that Cassie drink the wine even though Cassie is supposed to be sober now. The best lies are the ones closest to the truth. Cassie better hope that no one ever bugs her house because she is always talking about things that she should be keeping secret. Annie is a lawyer and she has a giant tattoo on the palm of her hand. That doesn't seem very professional. I can already tell that the show has lost it's one drunk woman against the world charm. -

The Problem With Jon Stewart - General Discussion
AnimeMania replied to AnimeMania's topic in The Problem With Jon Stewart
The Problem With Jon Stewart Reportedly Struggling With Ratings Jon Stewart's Apple TV+ talk show The Problem with Jon Stewart has a multi-year deal with Apple. When the show premiered, it was the number 1 unscripted program on Apple TV+ with 180,000 homes tuning in, by its fifth episode it had dropped by 78% to only 40,000. Stewart's series is now the 8th most in-demand talk show in the country. (There is nothing wrong with the show, the problem is that nobody knows when it is on. Season 1 was only 4 episodes and the every other week schedule makes it hard for people to remember to watch, since streaming services are not like a DVR where they your remind you when a new episode drops. The incredibly short season and huge time between episodes 4 and 5 caused people to think something bad happen to the show and maybe it was cancelled and they had no idea if or when it was returning.) -
The article says that the show has not been renewed just yet, but they do have a plan if they get a Season 2. It says that a lot of the show is homages to horror movies and it will greatly increase your pleasure of the show in you have watched a lot of them, especially "The Shining".

I did some slight reading about the episode and found this to be interesting, all of the people in the psychiatric hospital are people we have seen before on the show, the two police that came to arrest Steven, the lady that was Steven's boss at the Museum Gift Shop, the guy on the street covered in gold paint, etc. Mrs. Peter Potamus has a first name, Taweret.

I am usually only mild amused at most episodes, but I thought this one was very funny. Jayden: You won't like me when I'm hangry!

So people just roam the desert shooting everybody they come across or were those men part of Harrow's guards, even though Steven and Layla were no where near where Harrow was digging. You think that the men wouldn't have shot up the vehicle, if they were robbers. You would have thought that Steven and Layla would have at least come out of that encounter with some guns and supplies, but no. Anyhoo, that occurring does not make me want to go to Egypt anytime soon. The camp looting thing annoyed me, it was supposed to be cute, but the whole time they were acting like they were shopping at the local bazaar, instead of sneaking into a camp full of heavily armed guards ready to shoot them on sight. Arguing, just walking straight into all the tents without looking first, shouting, gawking, not paying the least bit of attention, Steven not asking Marc what he should take from the camp to stay alive, etc. I still can't figure out Layla's intentions with Marc/Steven, I just can't figure out what she is trying to accomplish by going on this excursion. I thought the worst things I would have to wave off was a tomb completely buried in sand on the outside, would have all of it's passageways be perfectly fine on the inside and very well lit. I am not sure why Layla didn't run, I thought the whole point was to buy her enough time to find an exit and escape (I am guessing she had the statue). I guess she likes to watch. I am not even going to try to comprehend what occurred after Steven met Harrow. I will put that on hold until they explain it to me next episode. It would be been funny, if when Marc and Steven were running down the hallway, each one of those doors held another of their multiple personalities. I thought I saw Mrs. Peter Potamus.
