S01.E07: Chapter Seven: Impertinent Questions
AnimeMania replied to AnimeMania's topic in Shining Vale
Wow, this episode was really funny. It was 10x better than the previous episodes, I wish they all had been this good. The show still could be scarier. Gaynor has a flass. Patricia has a UTI and a horrible personality. With all the rich people at the party, I thought when Kilt Guy pulled out that tiny bag of cocaine somebody was going to say "You call that Cocaine, this is Cocaine!" and pull out a sandwich bag of Coke. Kilt Guy must have snorted all of the cocaine that was in that bag. Good thing he was wearing a cocaine filter. With that perfect hole in the back of the skull, why would anybody think that wasn't done with a gun? Or were the kids running around looking for a gun? -
I am not sure how the professional sniper who killed Robyn's CIA trainee friend found her, I guess they followed her to her safe house or intercepted her red flag call, but it seems odd that she was dead before either Robyn or her handler could reach her. Also that the professional sniper didn't wait around to see who she might be meeting or have men search the safe house for information. I guess the U.S. Government now has a Directed "Pulse" (title) EMP Weapon. I don't know why the guy didn't sell the weapon to the U.S., I am sure they would have paid more. I was really thinking that Mel might put a bullet through the weapon and it would explode. I guess Robyn now has an insider at the CIA, he should be a pretty high rank now for capturing the terrorists who destroyed two planes and bringing in the EMP weapon in intact and functional. That should shield Harry if there is any blowback from the FAA breach, he could say it was part of the CIA operation. I really don't like the larger international plots, I would prefer more homegrown and personal stories.

At least it will be really "cheap" since they won't have to make any new sets, wardrobes, or props.

Pete Holmes is not showing any energy or passion, especially not when doing the thing he wants to do most in the world, bowling. Americans like it when people get motivated while pursuing their dreams. Pete Holmes has the same emotional level regardless of what he is doing. If he bowls a great game, he should celebrate a little bit, or at least smile.
