I'm in camp with those who believe that Dorinda sees some of her former life in Tinsley's. Minus the stuffy politicians and academia of course. It would appear that Scott's little Groupon/Deal Dash/WhateverTheHellItIs knock-off has provided a helluva lifestyle. Added to the helluva lifestyle that Tinsley's family money was already providing, the future looks smooth for the Mortimer-Kluth coupling, at least on the financial front. Dorinda, The Jealous Green Monster, could be the next superanti-hero. The female Hulk if you will. Get her angry and run like hell.

I have no knowledge about such things, but it wouldn't surprise me if shows like this sign "guaranteed minimum appearance" contracts with some folks. I don't know what one appearance would equate to in terms of $$, but someone like Sawnya might need to stick around for a few weeks to make it worth her while (in her head at least). I couldn't bring myself to watch.

With all of the broohaha going to with SC lately, I was interested in seeing a bit more about Chelsea and her history before she joined the show. I'm sure it was discussed, but I didn't remember that she was a Survivor contestant (I'm not a viewer of that show). It was interesting that her bio for Survivor, which was in 2012 I believe, her occcupation was listed as Medical Sales. Depending on what that actually means, it is generally thought of as providing a decent income. However further investigating shows this Master Stylist occupation, and quotes from her that her mother was a stylist (this must have been before or after her mother ran equestrian stables). Aaanywaaay, I have seen her monitize her Instagram like most of the BravHos have, but she gon' have to go some to replace the income from the show. She obviously had a plan before she quit. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for her. More reality TV? Travelling back and forth to Central America to surf takes $$, as does maintaining a home on an island in South Carolina. I don't imagine she was pulling in near what some of the other cast members were. She seems like a smart lady, we'll see.

This one gets me in the gut. One of my favorite comedy films.

We had a couple of days a week or so ago that the voice dubbing didn't match the video. It was weird. Our cable/internet has been pretty much shit since everyone was locked down. I have been operating under the assumption that it has to do with bandwidth, more users, e-learning, blah blah blah. Once again, cable charging Rolls Royce money for Yugo product/service.

She is completely devoid of self-awareness about this episode specifically, and perhaps about her life generally. Again, accusing others of being "mean'. I dunno Dori, I think you should take those blinders off. Also, didn't she totally indicate during the talking head last night that she and John had sort of gone their separate ways? Now she's denying it. Whatever.

After seeing Sawnya's hedonistic behavior continue, I think I agree with her "I wasn't a trophy wife" rant. She was more like a high-end call girl. She sold her vagina for the trappings of an old money lifestyle. Now, she can't see anything past booze and money. Asking the orchard owner how many acres he had, then trying to work it out in her head how to equate apple trees to cash-on-hand. She seems to only value people by their balance sheet and how they can prop her up.

Sonja is a drunk. Dorinda seems to be a medicated drunk. Would Dorinda be a kind person if she were completely sober? Doubtful. Substances mostly just magnify what is already there.

It really is disturbing that female empowerment is equated to being a bitch or "boss bitch", etc. I consider myself an independent woman, with a healthy self-esteem, but I don't consider that as fodder for gangsta rap lyrics.

It's sort of necessary on shows like this, for us to suspend belief/reality to the point that we think every situation is handled by this group. Sort of like most police dramas. Jamie Reagan and his partners not only respond to every.single.call on Blue Bloods, but they then do the follow-up investigating. His sister Erin prosecutes every case.
