  1. Discussing post-BBC GBBO, it's mistakes and perhaps recoveries. great-british-baking-show-is-better-in-2020-than-you-think
  2. As good as Ghirardelli Double Chocolate brownie mix is, I can almost see no point in toiling from scratch.
  3. I get products from time to time with the stickers on them, and I believe they are inventory labeling from the vendor in question. Can't really say whether or not they all came from Amazon themselves or a 3rd party supplier (or both). I've had them on things that wouldn't have an expiration date.
  4. Still going... I would give a limb to be in the room when Ravenel views photos like this. Grr...still won't embed. It seems a random issue. https://www.instagram.com/p/CGtNWYSB4lk/?utm_source=ig
  5. I did watch (hubs choice, inexplicably). I thought Kathryn was surprisingly well behaved, while Ashley is clearly on a zero-growth regimen. The only changes in AJ were the obvious alterations to her mouth/lip area and her expensive dental work. I still have no plans to view the upcoming season, at least voluntarily.
  6. Not an adoring Ramona fan here, but who the f--k is Dave Portnoy? Who/what the f--k is a Deuxmoi?
  7. For any of the above to appear on Bethenny Frankel's podcast would have mountains more to say about ^them, than it would about BF.
  8. Best wishes to you toward that end. I'm sending my mojo your way~
  9. Yet they befoul my water features by washing their damn food in 'em. Darn you trash pandas! ©peacheslatour
  10. I guess I'm unclear how to facilitate that. I merely posted the "copy link" option from the drop down menu on the IG post, something I do with regularity, successfully. Sorry about your aversion to all things about that post, lol.
  11. Just happened across this. I guess there are some really great humans out there, despite all evidence to the contrary. https://www.instagram.com/p/CGm15x9gyBA PTV is wonky lately, so post isn't embedding correctly.)
  12. I'm not an attorney, and legal speak makes me want to chew nails, so I only skimmed the story. My undereducated take is that either the judge didn't feel she was a large enough component in their lawsuit to attach the proceeds of her house sale, or, perhaps they were merely smart about the method/location of incorporating the business(es), so as to avoid putting personal assets at risk. 🤷‍♀️
  13. Was told by a colleague who had a raccoon get into the attic of his home, that he had to relocate it at least five miles away to ensure that it wouldn't return. I was gobsmacked.
  14. Hoyne St. (the one with the carved door frame and black doors/giant brass ballz) sold in January 2020 for $1.3 million and change.
  15. I'm amazed at how many professional retail websites are guilty of this, for any clothing.
  16. I totally agree with the bolded. I am not one biologically, only by marriage, but I also don't try to take credit for being "every woman" then put my kid or step-kid last on a list meant to make me appear to be one. Men shouldn't do it either. I'm equally put off by the "girl dad" phenomenon. You're a dad. Period.
  17. I actually don't hate the stained glass features, and I like adding natural wood tones with all of the stark, modern architectural elements.
  18. From your link - Bethenny Frankel became a household name thanks to her headline-making (and oftentimes volatile) stint on The Real Housewives of New York City, which began in 2008. Since then, she's become, as she states it on her website, a "self-made businesswoman, TV producer, multiple New York Times bestselling author, and mother." I can't help but notice that Bryn comes last.
  19. As someone upthread mentioned, this affinity for open shelving and see-thru cabinet doors is baffling. For one, I don't have a staff to keep things looking visitor-ready at all times, lol. I too have things in my cabinets that aren't for publication. If your space can accommodate having a mix, then great. I live approx 110 miles SE of Chicago, and yeah, we wear coats a minimum of 50% of the year, and no, I'm not willing to give precious master bedroom closet space to them. I think she, like so many other television designers, are doing just that; designing for a television audience. "Ooh, that's pretty." Yes, yes it is, now tear it all apart and make it actually livable to the 98% of the buying public that may actually be willing to take it off your hands.
  20. I'd say her later photo is a cautionary tale about the downside of aging with fillers/implants.
