Based on what I've heard him say and seen him do, I'm not at all sure that humiliation is even on his radar screen.

I agree that these shows generally start aging out after 5-6 seasons. Shameless is reaching a bit.

It will be interesting to see how Courtney Cox's character develops now after hearing of this news. I realize that she is to play an actress with Lip as her sober companion or something like that, but this announcement could make for some interesting twists to that plotline.
