  1. I love this. You need to be in that HM writers' room! Agree re: Crown for Christmas, and I'll add that The Christmas Secret needs to at least be in the top 10! It's in my Top 5.
  2. I was happy to see her, but then she ruined it with the insensitive "I'm afraid I have some bad news..." *pause* "...he needs a diaper change". How thoughtless and unprofessional for a doctor to say that, to three worried relatives (she thought they were relatives of some kind), re: a BABY! In real life, that would be a moment of total panic for a parent, thinking something was really wrong. I thought that was awful. I've been to many urgent care facilities, and they still ask for my name, date of birth, insurance info, etc. So I'm not sure why it would change anything if it were an urgent care facility or a hospital.
  3. I just saw this commercial the other day, and said the same thing to my husband, "What if that was pepper and it got in the kid's eyes??"
  4. I'm not Anna Paquin's biggest fan either, but I said in another thread that after watching the Netflix doc "Abducted in Plain Sight", I think Anna's performance is SPOT ON! Mary Ann was much older in the documentary than the years that she is being portrayed in this series, but I almost see her exact facial expressions, with the way that Anna is acting it. And yes, it is unbelievable a person can be so dumb. When she told them they were stupid or idiots (whatever she said when she was yelling at them), I laughed and said out loud "She's not wrong there! They are IDIOTS!"

  6. Last year (and maybe the year before) they didn't even wait until Halloween was over, which I find absolutely ridiculous and downright infuriating, actually.
  7. I felt the same way when I watched it for the first time (I watched RHONY for the first time, during the pandemic), in that I actually felt kind of bad for Kelly, because I think there is something wrong with her mentally. I mean, "satchels of gold"? What?? I can understand Bethenny, not only just being Bethenny, but also being pregnant would have 0 patience for Kelly's BS, especially given their history, but I did feel Kelly was kind of being ganged up on. The way that Kelly reacted to the gift bags Beth brought was also not normal behavior. I did wonder if she was on something, but you will see her reaction to Scary Island at the reunion, and she does seem to feel she was just being straight up bullied. Odd, when she was the one stirring shit by saying that Bethenny is not a chef. It was an entertaining trip, for sure! And generally, I find RHONY to the most consistently entertaining RH franchise.
  8. This one (Big Sky River) had been taking up space on my DVR, so I watched it over the weekend. I cosign everything about your post, especially about the bad kid acting. The younger son was really bad, and the entire interaction between the 2 teens on the date was so full of cringe, and it was painful to watch. And now that I'm thinking of it, it was very weird how they cut back and forth between the teens' date, and the main couple hanging out. Then, when the teens' date was over, the kid left on his bike, and they made it a point for him to ask the girl "Are you okay if I leave, since your mom should be coming to pick you up any minute now...?" It seemed like they were setting up a conflict, like she was going to forget to pick the girl up or something, but nothing ever came of it. It was just oddly set up. I also thought that Kavan needed to shave and get a haircut. I'm not against a little stubble or longer hair on a guy, but he just looked shaggy and unkempt. I was surprised how quickly her ex just let her keep his kid, too. For someone who was described as such a douche, and with having an "ugly divorce" as she described it, it was a little unbelievable that he just gave in so quick after one phone call. Overall, I did enjoy the movie though, compared to some of the other nonsense on this channel.
  9. Thanks. That wasn't clear to me at the time, but after watching more, I got that.
  10. I guess I'm just a simp, because I enjoyed it. Didn't think the acting was awful either, but if I had to pick the worst one, it wasn't Bailee Madison, it was the Tabby actress. And it didn't help that almost everything that came out of her mouth was a movie reference. Overall, the show fit my bill for a fun teen horror show, and I would watch another season.
  11. Haha too funny about Candace's wigs. I watched an old Aurora Teagarden the other day, and she had this GOD-AWFUL fake braid. You could see exactly where her real hair ended and the ratty braid began. It was seriously distracting; every time that she was on screen, all I could do was stare at it, and try to wrap my head around what was going on, and why they thought that was a good idea. Never quite did figure it out.
  12. Yes, good point, that didn't really seem in character for her. I had never seen Kaylee in anything, and thought she fit the part very well.
  13. I watched The Journey Ahead last night, and I really enjoyed it. I like that it wasn't focused on the romantic storylines. The two lead women were a good pairing, one being Holly Robinson Peete. This was the first movie I have seen of hers; I know has that mystery series, but I have never watched it. I also liked that the other lead was a lesbian, but they did not have to make a big deal about it, in the way that Hallmark seems to be so ham-fisted with their inclusivity, typically. For example, when she mentioned having a falling out with her mom, it was refreshing that the falling out was not because she told her mom that she was gay. I thought that is where they were going to go with it, and that has just been so overdone, through the years. Overall good movie, and I even welled up a few times, though I am PMSing, so that could be part of it. 😄
  14. Hmm German mustard. I’ve never tried it.
  15. Same! I am an East Coaster and I also put ranch on pretty much anything. I will also dip fries in just mayo 🤷‍♀️ Yum, now I want fries!
  16. That is what I thought it always used to say on the jar, but now the jar says “Creamy Mayo (wrong) and Tangy Dressing”. By salad dressing, I think they are talking more like a potato or mac salad, rather than a garden or Caesar, but still. Yuck! MW is still a NO in those salads, which need real mayonnaise. Truly, the only thing miraculous about Miracle Whip is that anyone likes or buys it. 🤮
  17. I just watched Two Tickets to Paradise. It was pretty good. Liked the scenery, and I tend to like Ashley Williams, even though her grin can be a little maniacal at times. A minor thing, but I thought that the actress that played Ashley Williams’s character’s mother, looked very young, so I looked up the actress, and she is ONE YEAR YOUNGER than Ashley Williams! That is pretty messed up! What, just because the woman has a short haircut, they think she can be a mom to a woman who is older than her IRL? I was shocked. Also, on a superficial note, AW needs to chill on the fillers or surgery or whatever it is. Her face was looking a little tight and cat like. Why do these actresses think that aging naturally is such a bad thing? @Snow Child, sorry I was trying to quote you in my last post, since you mentioned the movie, but I posted before done and then it wouldn’t let me edit the post.
  18. 😄 I do just hope the facial--err, situation--is involuntary.
  19. Yes, that part is rich too. 😄 the NOT is so confident for someone that broke the law!
  20. Incorrect. I have tried Duke's once when they had it at ALDI. I will stick to my Hellman's, thank you very much! 😉 Don't get me started on Miracle Whip! That is NOT mayonnaise, has never been mayonnaise, and will never be mayonnaise. I don't trust people who think it belongs in the mayonnaise family. Enter me! LOL All in good fun, but I do love me some mayonnaise, and it's got to be the Hellman's baby!
  21. Probably the same people who eat Kraft mayonnaise. I just scolded my hub for coming home with Kraft mayo the other day. Bring out the Hellman's and bring out the best, indeed! It turned out to not be that bad, but he and I have had the discussion before that I don't want to see any mayo besides Hellman's in my fridge, so it was just the principle of the matter! 😄
  22. The first guy on this commercial for Youth Advocate Program, which can be viewed Here confuses me. Not to be insensitive if he did, but did he suffer a stroke, and now has facial paralysis? I hope so, because otherwise, why does he just talk out of one side of his mouth? It is bizarre and I find the commercial irritating. Especially because a couple of the channels that I watch seem to play it multiple times in one break!
  23. I always say this! And how would I know if I was allergic to Jardiance if it is my first time taking it? I also like "Tell your doctor if you have (insert disease or ailment here)" Shouldn't my doctor be the one diagnosing that?
  24. Sorry, now that you say it, you spiked my memory, and I think there was pad-lock on it, and he just shoved some kind of tool in it to pick the lock.
