Just hanging around in my house, on my Green Bay Packers couch, having a convo with Mr. Bones, wearing my Louis Vuitton crew neck sweatshirt—that looks exactly like the Fruit of the Loom version. Reminding my husband that we don’t lie to each other about the tiniest thing, even if he is feeling the British version of “jaded”. Oh, sorry, that was actually Dorit and her boiled ham. I get into a trance-like state when I hate-watch this show, and I mix up reality v. reality TV. It’s similar to when it snows in Pasadena.

It’s very festive for the holidays, but I am not a fan of Garcelle’s tinsel Snuffleupagus top. She usually kills it, fashion-wise, and again I give leeway for a holiday outfit. My best friend always says his holiday criteria is sparkly and slutty, so I get it! Though hers is more sparkly and muppet. ETA: I shouldn’t give my bff all that cred right now, since he is the reason I started watching these women (hate-watching at this point 😹)

Oh no, here comes Asher trying to have a David Foster moment like that party Yolanda had when Baby Face was there, and Brandi gave me second hand embarrassment. And along comes Erika trying to one-up him, and again I’m dying of second hand embarrassment. At the same time, it is Christmas, and who among us hasn’t wanted to sing along to a Christmas song at Christmas? Asher doesn’t sound as bad as I thought he would, but doesn’t sound as good as I thought he *could*. L’il pitchy. Erika is slurring at Kathy now. “Pleath don’t-a make-a me cry...”

Okay, so— So far, I’ve got: - Erika sound like Dorinda. “I...*slur* needth-a...another drink...” - Kathy has that disorder Brad Pitt supposedly has, where she doesn’t actually *see* someone’s face and have recognition, but for her... it’s only if the person is black? Just another day in Beverly Hills, I guess! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Why am I still watching this? I think have a problem. ETA: I’m only like 5mins into the episode. Send beer.

One thing they definitely have in common is that neither would have a storyline without their EDs. ETA: not making light of either of their EDs, just trying to make the point that they are both, imo, SNOOZEFESTS

Luann is beautiful. Alex isn't ugly, but she was always so awkward to me, so I just have never found her to be very attractive. (Wait till you get to "Johann face!"--another part of the Scary Island eps, I believe-- and you will see what I mean about awkward!) Bethenny can be obnoxious at times, but she does have some really good 1-liners. It would be hard to choose which is more OTT, between Scary Island and The Dinner Party From Hell, but they are both reality TV gold, no doubt! What season are you on now? I know Season 1 is very short.

Agree. But I have definitely seen more "chic" wind chimes than JLC's chintzy looking ones, that Dorit was fawning over.

Kyle, if it tastes good, and contains all ingredients that you enjoy, show some gratitude to someone hosting you at their home! Especially when it is just you and your sister! She really is acting like a total asshole lately. How far she has come from season 1, when I found her to be one of the most down to earth, of the RHOBH. That— on top of her RUINING the ‘Father of the Bride’ house, with her and Faye’s bad taste, I can’t stand her anymore! Her neon sign in the foyer, and the ALL gray kitchen, in THAT house, seriously raises my blood pressure! P.S. Gotta say, this is a great magazine cover shot. And what made me want to capture it, and bring that up, is you know Erika loves that cover. A perfect image for a Pretty Me$$, and what she is trying to make her brand. The way she talks about how she feels about the cover is her “woe is me” act, but she loves looking scandalous on the cover of that magazine! Speak to her about it, she plays the victim. I’m so sick of her Urkel voice too, and I love Steve Urkel! Ask anyone 😂

I used to like Kyle, but she is truly a shitty human being. Her bickering with Mo over stirring the pasta was telling to me. She wasn’t just being a wife, playfully making fun of his not doing it to her liking. She basically said “why can’t you do anything right ever?” She is an asshole. The pasta looked good though. I thought Kyle was low, but Erika is truly the lowest of the low. Now hitting on Garcelle’s married with babies son, in front of G, with one leg in the air, the other thigh-to -thigh with Doritasaurus Rex. Telling G’s younger son to GTFO? Girl you need to go home, don’t be telling the teenager that, at his mom’s party! I love that Garcelle said Erika needs to adjust her cocktail of prescriptions and booze. Nothing wrong with taking meds to adjust your mental health, but you need to adjust your drinking accordingly, and I just know Erika is going to use that at the reunion, and make fake apologies. She is a cold cold... you know the necklace she proudly wears. What even is Dorit’s outfit? It would honestly be a hot Halloween costume, if she was going as a T-Rex, and I’m not joking in the least; the gloves, the braid as a tail. I usually FF commercials, but did anyone else see the humility that was Kyle and Dorit-Rex’s promo for some movie? I am still trying to recover from the second hand embarrassment. All I got for now. Did I mention I hate Kyle?

I really liked this one too! I've been off of HM movies for a while; after the Christmas bunch, I always need a break, and my break this yr has apparently been almost 6 months long. I caught the Aurora Teagarden marathon on, and thought I'd tune in for a bit, being on the couch with cramps, and saw the ad for Rip in Time. I'm so glad I did, because I really really liked it! I am usually not the biggest Niall Matter fan. I just find him to be so dull normally; I mainly know him as Ro's love interest in the Teagarden movies and have seen a couple of the HM Xmas movies that he has been in, and have never been impressed. However, he was perfect in this role as "Rip". Very endearing. It gave me vibes of Elf or Enchanted, both of which I love. I DVR'd a couple other movies while I was watching, so maybe I am ready to dip my feet back into the HM pool. Another thing I liked was that Torrey Devito's character mentioned she had a "baby daddy", as they were never married. Always like these little tidbits of HM being more diverse.

I completely agree with everything you said here. Can’t stand Erika either, she is VENOMOUS and she is acting maniacal! Where’s that smile and laughter been for the past 7 years, or however long she has been on? She is suddenly all laughs and and smiles, even when greeting everyone, she used to always be so stonefaced. It’s creepy! And don’t even get me started in Dorit.

Okay, to borrow a quip from @Sarah D. Bunting, I guess even a broken Kyle is right twice a day, because—I normally am annoyed by Kyle “being funny”—but that bit with Kyle in the TH, pretending to be Rinna, hiding the “receipts” and acting like she doesn’t have them, to impress Diana, was funny!

Does Rinna realize the irony of what she just said about Harry’s hairstyle when they met? Cute at the time, and now she wonders “what was he thinking?” He probably thinks that same thing about her hair, which hasn’t changed since they met!!

Just watching now. Why is Rinna at Harry’s party, dressed like the Man in the Yellow Hat?

@heatherchandler, I must have missed when Louie said that was his favorite scene. What? That's odd. That being said, and not to get too offtopic, but yes, I agree with both you and @JAYJAY1979, in that I can't stand Carrie, Big is an asshole, and Carrie did bring it on herself, by being her typical narcissistic self and not listening to the needs of her partner. Hmm...maybe that's why Louie's a SATC fan? He sees Teresa in Carrie's self involved, annoying ways.

I thought that I may get a little pushback on that comment, because it was a bit sexist on my part, but I do appreciate the good-natured attitude of your reply, and it does make me feel better that your wife had a similar reaction. TBH, I was a little buzzed, and on a roll when I posted it, so I do apologize if it was offensive to anyone. Louie just didn't strike me as the "Carrie Bradshaw is my spirit animal" type. 😄 Also, I do tend to agree with your last statement, that "Favorite" may have been a bit of an exaggeration, on Tre's part. Either way, as you summarized, people do like what shows they like, and shouldn't have to be shamed, I just found it kind of surprising for that to be his "favorite". Maybe "red flag" was the wrong term for me to have used.

I cannot believe that Andy did not ask for an example, when Tre said that “yes”, she has once changed her opinion later on, after thinking about a situation on her own time. Wow, Andy. You really dropped the ball on that one. He asked the question but didn’t follow through. When have you ever done that, instead of holding a grudge, Tre? Andy just kisses the asses of the Guidices/Gorgas because he knows where the NJ bread is buttered!

This guy on the left (in the bottom cartoon) is who Joe Benigno reminds me of! I’ve been trying to put my finger on it. And I guess it’s nice Marge convinced him to “suck the fat” out of his face, but every time they show him on this reunion, I feel like they just used the “blemish removal” feature on photoshop to remove things. His face looks oddly airbrushed where the under-eye bags were, in particular. P.S. Sex and the City is Louie’s favorite show? That’s a red flag in itself. I love that show, but if it was my husband’s favorite? Sorry, that would just be weird.
