I thought that Leila goaded Jamal into blowing up the plane, not just detaining/arresting the elite guard which was Tariq's power base. So there is support for the coup because people had been dreading the day Jamal would take over. But Leila doesn't have PTSD, she's just an Arab Lady MacBeth?

But on the other hand, when Francis says she won't leave her son, Terry quickly points out that he's going to college and she'd only be seeing him once a year. But that motivational guy could have negotiated the settlement with Manuel himself, though probably doesn't know how to fly an illegal out and get him on the no-fly list so he can't come back. Guess he was anticipating he'd need more of Ray's services in the future. And he's got hundreds of millions at stake in a divorce? So the Deepak Chopras and others of that ilk are making that kind of bank?

Yeah I'm wary of the HHIs in Nicaragua and Costa Rica and many parts of South America. In the episodes, they sometimes mention the barred windows and the full time security or how certain properties are within gated communities with guards.

You could have a Homeland situation where Jamal was intended to only be around for one season but his popularity makes the producers keep him on.

I get that the Juarez cops are bought and paid for by the cartel. But they were having rape parties which draws heat to the city. The Gruppo Clio guy was telling Fausto to keep a lower profile. In real life, does the cartel kill or abduct openly? Or for that matter, go after US cops? If they crossed the border to go after Sonia, you would think that would be a big line to cross.

This episode showed women in various states of undress. So much for the notion of Muslim laws restricting the rights of women. Jamal wants to go fishing with kid brother. Ah the child-like psychopath ("just below Jeffery Dahmer").

No word on another villain like Gyp? They tried to strike gold again with Narcisse but it wasn't quite the same.

YTW talked about a woman wiring her teeth shut (to lose weight) but more to prevent putting "bad things" in her mouth and FX promoted that sound bite over and over again. And the main female character talks about getting viruses on her computer from porn sites. These shows would not only be broadcast on NBC or ABC, it's doubtful they'd be shown on HBO or Showtime.

She may be the Lady McBeth of Abbudin but that would be playing against type for Muslim women, even wives of presidents of Muslim countries. One interpretation is that Cochran and wife are swingers. Wife is played by Sherliyn Fenn of Twin Peaks fame. So her playing the world "SUCK" and the camera showing the other guy's reaction shot was maybe suppose to be telling. Wife did say something about how they're both aiming to get to DC, so he would be Director of FBI, not just the LA office.
