  1. I laughed out loud when Stone said: "Hard to believe the country that invented paella hasn't thought about double jeopardy." For some reason this line had me roaring!
  2. I was just thrilled beyond belief that it was an Eddy-free episode. Sometimes it's the little things in my TV life that make me happy...
  3. No firestorm from me - I think Lupe also wanted to have sex. They are both a few cards short of a full deck and have very little in terms of good decision-making skills.
  4. Ok, watched this episode last night. Here are my comments for anyone who's interested: 1. I should have made a drinking game out of this-every time Dr. Now says "super" it's time to take a shot. I caught myself whispering "say it! say it!" on more than one occasion. 2. Does Gilbert own a shirt with sleeves? 3. Gilbert mumbling about his needs - what a douche. And all the sex talk - trying to make himself out to be a stud puh-lease! 4. Sex with fresh stitches and at least 3 big honking drains hanging out? Disgusting he should be ashamed of himself. What a tool. That green stuff? 5. I REALLY wish we could have seen Dr. Now looking at that ripped open wound to see his reaction. It wasn't even his voiceover it was Lupe saying that she had to go into surgery right away. I can't imagine how horrified Dr. Now and the surgical staff were. 6. Was I the only one who was grossed out by watching Lupe squeeze out the ground meat, use her hands with foul nail polish to form patties, then proceed to eat the cooked cheeseburger patty with her fingers? That scene just turned my stomach for some reason. 7. Ashley is living in opposite world now - she is shrinking and her family (except Patrick so far) is gaining weight. She's so mild mannered I hope she finds her voice! Sorry for the long post, didn't realize how much I had to get off my chest!
  5. Well, I wasn't really impressed by the finale. I knew John would be going home and I am surprised he made it that far. I tend to agree with Duff when he commented on the drip cake-"If I was 6 years old I'd be psyched" (something along those lines.) Kinda described all of John's creations - a bit juvenile and tons of fondant and such. While I liked Jordan's final cake, I wish they didn't have a pre-heat and advantage for the finale. They all got there lets have them all on the same level. I wanted Adam to win because of his consistency and creativity throughout the competition. Jordan was very hit or miss. I'm sorry but Daniela sort of bugged me. So when's the next season of the Great American Baking Championship start? I like that competition a lot better.
  6. I just finished this and need to take a break before watching Part 2. I don't think there's anything new I can add that hasn't already be said by all you wonderful folks. He's a dispicable human being. 33 year old "man" who screams at everyone, throws tantrums (and throws urine,) and has kids' minion pillows for company in his hospital bed. BTW Dr. Now, his behavior has nothing to do with Steven being from "up North" and it's not about conforming to how things are done in TX. This crazy dude has no interest in basic manners or common decency. It's not a regional difference. It's that Steven is a nasty, nasty, nasty (did I say nasty?) human being.
  7. Oh man, I still haven't watched Part 1 and Part 2 is airing tonight. I've obviously read comments here and I'm afraid that once I start watching every fiber of my being will be enraged and I'll become a screaming banshee.
  8. I don't recall it being explicitly addressed so I went under the assumption that she actually had a plan to cozy up to expectant moms in order to steal a baby. I liked this episode due to the number of courtroom scenes, which I've always loved in L&O. The episode moved at a fast pace and I was a bit tense at times (which is a good thing!) Really likes how Stone was able to resolve any issues he may have had by giving the serial killer immunity.
  9. FF through Cristina scenes with Stahl but got the gist of what was going on. She'll probably give the envelope from Caddy to her new bestie Stahl. Woz, Woz, Woz, how I love you, you are up for anyone and anything.
  10. My DVR cut off right before they announced the elimination. I was fine with either Courtney or John leaving so "meh" on the result. Kinda tired of this format-not a lot of time, an added twist, goofy themes. I much prefer the Amaerican Baking Championship (I think that's what it's called) on ABC. Just sayin'...
  11. I probably missed it but how exactly did Ellen end up dead in the water? I have to confess that I was FF'ing through scenes with Eddy and may have missed it...
  12. Effing Cristina, I get mad and bummed out every time she's on screen. And not in a good way. There are some characters on TV thst you love to hate. I just hate her character and will say once again that there's no way this kid would be so stupid. She knows Miguel beat Harlee and then trusts strangers over the people who have looked after her for her whole life. I was hoping she was one of the girls who OD'd too. Interesting fact that Woz spilled about his son Nate, and that's why he's forever indebted to Julia. The plot thickens.... Ray hit it out of the park again this week with such great acting. And as for Jennifer-I don't see her as JLo, she's totally Harlee.
  13. Ok so I watched the super sized episodes with Tracey. She's got a lot of medical issues! IIRC she has congestive heart failure and had a small stroke that affects her ability to swallow (snark-can't be too much of a problem!) She is losing an amazing amount of weight on her own without WLS, good for her. A few things about Tracey caused some snark for me: She's 45 and a grandmother with multiple grandkids? Sounds very young to me. I also got grossed out by Tracey putting an entire nugget in her mouth. We have seen so much worse in other episodes but for some reason it bothered me. And while her husband was so supportive I just wish they would eat the same foods together. If he gets a craving, hop in the car and grab some fast food away from the house... I would like to see a follow up episode that includes a makeover. I bet Tracey would love and look great with some new makeup and hair, just a bit of change in that area can make women feel great!
  14. Love this and love Glenn! Thanks hincandenza.
  15. I just can't get past the name Nevaeh. Heaven spelled backwards. I guess it's appropriate given the "God-sibling" connection...
  16. Nice to see "Janice" from the Sopranos. That's all I've got.
  17. Oh Chuck. Like others have sad, he's using his weight as an excuse as to why Nissa left. No Chuck, she left because you are a jerk. Doesn't matter if you weight 600+ or 250. He's like a dry drunk: still a jerk without a good excuse. Happy for Paula but feel so bad for her girls. They clearly arent eating the same foods...
  18. Thank you hockeymom! This was everything. Should have been a drinking game: take a shot each time Sophia says "empire!" Sophia truly was unlikeable. Plus she served the judges burnt meatballs. Maybe if you cared if people liked your food or not, you'd be a better chef. Just sayin'...
  19. I can only imagine that clothes are very limited for people this size. But what's with all the sleeveless shirts and dresses? I am not skinny by any means and I am too self conscious to go sleeveless. I am much more comfortable (and frankly look better) with some sort of a sleeve. Maybe these folks have just completely given up and don't care? Just a random thought here...
  20. Ok just finished binge-watching this season. I really hope it's picked up again, I do enjoy it even tho we have to suspend reality now and again to get thru it. No secret that I'm a fan of Rob Lowe and his character Ethan. I went into hysterics when Ethan quoted Hugh Grant in Notting Hill "I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her." Loved that bit of randomness. Some things I wasn't wild about: Ariel. First, she looks way older than 13 I couldn't believe she was supposed to be that young. Second, Leeann can get out of her graveyard without taking on a child, it just doesn't work for me. And I don't really want Ariel to be a part of the show, it would be dragged down by that storyline. How did Sugarbear start to grow on me? I didn't see that coming...
  21. Ugh Cristina. The writers aren't even making her a rebellious teen-they are writing her as a completely stupid teen. Like PepSinger said, she trusts strangers over everyone else, even after seeing pics of Harlee beat up. I have started to FF thru when Cristina is on. She just slows down the storyline and frustrates me. Woz on the couch with the stray dog that he adopted-love love love. They are kind of 2 lost souls who found each other at exactly the right time.
  22. I don't know what it is about this season but I am usually weepy at some point during each episode. I don't remember it being this way last season. Or it could just be subconscious tears of joy from seeing Rob Lowe once a week now...
  23. Caught this one today as a rerun. I felt very uncomfortable watching Joe. Frankly there was something that really just creeped me out. The social awkwardness was in high gear-his girlfriend walks in to dinner and he puts his had up like "wait!" And then he proposes (what are they thinking, they don't know each other.) Then Joe blurts out to his mom that he's not going back home with her. For me it was uncomfortable all around.
  24. I have been binge watching this season so I am clearly late to the party. I did groan when I saw Lisagay Hamilton in the credits. I can't stand her resting bitch face and she always plays bitchy characters. I hope she's just in this episode and doesn't pop up again any time soon.
