  1. I don't know what it is, but I am just not feeling this show, at all! I'm not really liking any of the staff, except Ben, and even Ben seems like his heart is not in it like it was on the original BD. Danny is a hot mess, Bobby seems like he could have some anger issues (and, I get the importance of the brotherhood of firefighters, but I don't need it shoved down my throat every five seconds), Bryan seems like a jerk most of the time. The girls - meh - just not feeling them at all.
  2. I agree - those that are bragging aren't necessarily shagging.... ;-)
  3. I'm pretty sure it's The College of Charleston. :-)
  4. Something tells me that Kathryn purchased that "LV" bag from the same place that she purchased her "faux real" Birkin..... But, I have to say, I did enjoy Thomas and Kathryn together during those scenes. There is definitely a spark there between them - too bad the spark erupts into an earth-scorching conflagration all too often!
  5. Bethenny does have a lot of good one liners, and times where she has re-worked a popular phrase that worked, but that one didn't work or make any sense, but yet, she thought she was hysterical!! ;-)
  6. Thanks, zoeysmom - I thought that was how I remembered it. This brouhaha is nothing short of ludicrous - even moreso than most of the other brouhahas these ladies invent.
  7. If I recall correctly, didn't this whole ridiculousness actually start with Heather, who told Luann that Bethenny should at least have given her a car (instead of a percentage of the profits) for coming up with the name? From there, Luann took that and ran with it. I agree though, that Luann does it just to piss off Bethenny - and, imo, good for Luann!!! :-)
  8. My sons have been making Frito pie forever, without knowing that they were doing it, LOL!!! They always add Fritos to chili. Even when I make Sloppy Joes (the ground meat kind, with spices and tomato-based sauce), they will put Fritos on the hamburger rolls, on top of the Sloppy Joe mixture. My youngest son thinks that Fritos go with everything!!
  9. I think Dorinda's Christmas decorations were a discussion topic last season, too. Personally, I think that Christmas is the perfect time to use inexpensive decor. It's obvious that Dorinda ascribes to the "more is never enough" Christmas decorating rule - so why not? I love Christmas decorations, whether they be from Target, the Christmas Tree Shoppes or Harry & David and Tiffany's or other high-end stores. Some of my prettiest tree ornaments have been purchased from the stalls at Bryant Park, for less than half what I would pay elsewhere. Was her decor a little tacky for some? Probably, but I love that she is proud of it! I also LOVED the ceramic Christmas trees with the lights that were displayed on a sideboard in her dining room. I made those for my Mom and Dad back in the late 70's when ceramic classes were a big thing, and I'm sorry I don't have them now. Very nostalgic! I would bet that some of those things hold very sentimental value to Dorinda.
  10. If Luann was disinvited, who would Bethenny have to start an argument with? She gets along with all the other women there.
  11. Sshhhh, zoeysmom!!! If Bethenny or her interns are reading here - you have just given her a new brand opportunity!! Next Christmas, we will see the "Skinnygirl" board game, or some type of game app, similar to the Kardashian's....and then, little Portia from RHOBH will get in trouble again for buying in, playing and spending thousands of dollars without Kyle knowing!!!
  12. In the scene, when Bethenny arrived at Dorinda's house, her haircut did look similar to Luann's. Bethenny's isn't quite as layered as Luann's, and has more of blunt edge, but they are both sporting chin-length bobs. I think that comment from Luann may have been one of the things that started to set Bethenny off. Bethenny likes to think she is an original, and that people should be copying her - not the other way around. Plus, I think Bethenny considers herself younger and more hip (well, she is) than Luann, and that comparison, in her eyes, was not complimentary.
  13. I thought this, too, but for me, the big question was "why the need for the Elsa caviar girl", if the women were going to serve themselves out of the tin? I thought the caviar girl would be circulating among the guests with the caviar and toast points/blinis, and other else accompanies caviar.
  14. Does anyone know what breed Ramona's dog is? My son's ex-girlfriend had a little shih tzu, and whenever they would bring him here, or I would watch him, he would poop on my carpet. Every single time!! This dog was well trained at home, and they would walk him before bringing him into my home, but that didn't matter. Within three/four hours, I would find a "present" somewhere on a carpet - ALWAYS on a carpet - never on the hardwood floors!! I'm not excusing Ramona and her dog, but I wonder if some dogs just get nervous about change in surroundings? Or, maybe some dogs are trained to bark at the door when they need to go out, and they can't figure out where the door is in a home different than those they're used to? Yes - that was gross - and scary, considering that Jules probably figured that little tiny bit of caviar was her dinner for the day.
  15. I don't know what is worse - the constantly weepy, cry at the drop of a hat Bethenny we saw last season, or this newer, harder, crueler version of the poor little girl with the smart mouth who was hanging on Jill's coat tails. And, we still have to get through Bethenny's health scare (whatever it was)....OMG - these women are going to bumping into each other to lick the souls of her Louboutin's.....
  16. Why was it that Dorinda said that Carole needed to grow up and get over her differences with Luann, but she doesn't say the same to Bethenny? Oh, I forgot - now, Dorinda, too is up Bethenny's ass.....let's see - there is now Ramona, Carole and Dorinda kissing that Skinnygirl butt - wonder if there's room for anyone else. So glad that Luann is going back at her. Yeah, it is laughable that Luann is saying that she is "mentoring" Sonja (I admit that I chuckled a little at that), but save your nasty comments and sarcasm for your talking heads. I said it before - Bethenny's mouth is like a rapid fire assault rifle. I'm not really enjoying this season at all...I don't think there has been one episode where there hasn't been one (or more) fights, arguments or nastiness. It's seeming more and more scripted than ever before. Thank you for the explanation - I thought that maybe Hannah had her eyebrows waxed and was having a hard time dealing with not having a unibrow anymore.
  17. I agree, because so often, she shows such contempt for John, along with embarrassment and disdain. It's almost like he knows some dark secret about her, and is holding it over her head, forcing her to stay with him. That comment he thought would be funny about Luann and Tom was absolutely tasteless, and fell completely flat among that group of people. I wouldn't have even expected that to come from Joe Gorga or Richie Wakile from RHNJ, and I think they are two of the grossest Real Househusbands ever. Also, what was with that comment Dorinda made to Bethenny about Hannah's "transition" - what transition is she talking about?
  18. Is it possible that the Frito pie and corn dogs are why part of the party theme was "county fair"? I've never been to a county fair, and definitely not one in Texas, but do they serve Frito pie at them? I know most county fairs do serve corn dogs. The whole party was stupid, starting with the theme "goth county fair". Those people looked ridiculous.....
  19. LOL!!! Whitney is an enigma to me. At times, I appreciate his dry, sarcastic wit and sense of humor (especially during his talking heads), but at other times, especially when he's in a social setting, he seems awkward, uncomfortable and unlikable. And that song that he "wrote"....wow - what, did he write the lyrics while waiting for his breakfast hot dogs to cook in the microwave? The lyrics sounded like they took about two minutes to write! My 9 year old niece (who does seem to be gifted musically) recently wrote a song that had much deeper and thought out lyrics that "I love you, I love you, I fuckin' love you".....
  20. That mansion is gorgeous - inside and out!!
  21. I don't know if it he rents or owns the LA place, but I do think that's where he may spend most of his time. Patricia even commented on Whitney's current loft space, and said that he has had three lofts in as many years, so that means that he rents a loft in Charleston whenever they are filming. And, apparently, the one he's in now must have been furnished. When Patricia mentioned something about "not being too sure about this pillow", Whit's reply was "So what - it's rented".
  22. Navesink Country Club is practically in my backyard....believe me, they do not need anyone raising $10,000.00 for them....some of the wealthiest families in Monmouth County are members. IIRC, they actually turned down Geraldo Rivera's application for membership (when he lived here) because he was "too controversial".
  23. From the sound of all the things she has outlined in her trade name regristration, it sounds like Bethenny is trying to become a "worldwide luxury lifestyle brand"....wonder if Sonja should be pissed at her because of this. ;-)
  24. I don't know the shape of Sonja's townhome right now, and I'm sure it needs a lot of TLC, but I'm sure she could get a pretty penny for it, even being located next to a parking garage. I can almost see Ryan, Fredrik or Luis from MDLNY grabbing that listing in a heartbeat! The "zillow estimate" is around $22 million. I know from experience that Zillow's estimates are usually on the low side. If she could get $25 million for the place, why not just sell, invest smartly and wisely, and rent a two/three bedroom place?
