  1. He's going to look like....well, Thomas!! ;-)
  2. Another thing that bothered me - what the hell was Kenzie wearing to the polo match? She is a beautiful child, but that washed out prairie dress thing made me think of poor little Carrie Ingalls, in a hand-me-down dress, tripping and falling down the hill in the opening credits of Little House on the Prairie!! Was that a ploy of Kathryn's, to give the perception that she, alone, can't afford anything prettier or cuter for Kenzie, because Thomas is being such an asshole? Was it an old child's dress she found in a trunk in the family plantation home's attic that was worn by some long ago Dennis progeny? Or is it just Kathryn's less than stellar fashion sense? Now that I think about it, maybe that's truly what it is - she doesn't dress herself very well, so maybe that's just rubbing off on the clothes she buys for Kenzie.
  3. Again - Brandi seems to have a very obsessive fascination with bodily functions. I am almost as tired of hearing the words "poop" or "poopie" as I am hearing the words "Lyme's disease" or "my journey" (RHOBH). I find her crude and without any filter, of any kind. Also, all kinds of unsanitary grossness to be baking a cake with a puppy in your arm the whole time. I love dogs, but I don't think they should be anywhere near any kind of food prep. I think all of these ladies have a far, far, far way to go before they could be considered the upper echelon of Dallas society. Leeanne basically confirmed it - if you have the money to buy a ticket, you can attend. So, anyone with $350.00 and a penchant for wearing crazy shit (literally) on your head will guarantee you a seat at the "charity event of the year" or "social event of the season", or whatever the hell it is. This one is a real dud for me - not one of these ladies is sparking anything in me to want to continue to watch (but, unless I find something better, I'll probably be watching, LOL)--this is even worse than the Potomac ladies, who really, really annoyed me.
  4. In the meantime, while she was fuming over the fact that Kenzie would be in an area where there was alcohol, playing at being a "good Mom", pregnant Kathryn was wearing a green paper ID bracelet on her wrist - similar to the ones many bars and nightclubs distribute to prove you have either paid your cover charge or are over 21. (I didn't notice anyone else wearing a bracelet that would indicate entry to the polo match.) And, she was using the fact that there was alcohol around an under two year old as an excuse to leave? If I used that excuse, I never would have taken my kids anywhere, ever - not even my own kitchen!! I'm starting to feel bad for Jennifer - she gets all dressed up, soups up the Maserati (WTF - lucky girl!!!!), drives with Kathryn over two hours to go wherever (Craig's new house or TRav's farm/plantation home), and then, winds up leaving after being at the event for about ten minutes. Poor girl doesn't ever seem to get a chance to finish a glass of wine! ETA: I stand corrected - another poster noticed that Jennifer was also wearing a green wristband, and I saw it on a re-watch...maybe they did have to wear bracelets to enter the polo match as a "paying" spectator (not that they actually did pay for themselves) because I didn't see any wristbands on JD, Elizabeth or anyone else sitting under the Brookland Farms canopy.
  5. Would "Brown Water" be the more watered down version of "BLK" water that was one of the Manzo brothers' failed businesses?
  6. I loved this look and you're right! But, my gut tells me that the main judges on PRAS would not like this. I don't know why, but I think that Isaac and Georgina would have been all of this, and not in a good way. It would be interesting to see what those two wackadoodles would say, if someone played a prank on them, and used really good winning designs from past season as the finished product from this group of designers (without Isaac and Georgina knowing or having seen the previous designs somewhere).
  7. Ramona got the apartment and the Hamptons house, but she also got all the bills that go along with maintaining those two places - that was the first thing I thought of when she didn't have the A/C on in the apartment. The second thing I thought of was that for someone who did nothing but complain about no air conditioning on some of the "group" trips (remember her ordering a window unit for Heather's Berkshires house and complaining that the house in Turks and Caicos was too hot?) - it surprised me that her apartment wasn't as cold as a meat locker!!
  8. Maybe Sam's look was "badass" after all - if the fit is off in the derriere, it will give someone the look of a "bad ass". ;-)
  9. Yup....lots and lots of BB women where I live. Also tons of Lily Pulitzer sundresses, bermuda shorts and capris and hideous skirts--the younger ones of that crowd are very into Vineyard Vines clothing.
  10. This is now my new favorite word....I love it, and a perfect description for Bethenny (although it's doubtful a waffle of any kind would pass by her lips....)!!!! :-) Regarding all of this Twitter nonsense - first off, I agree with you about it being all tied in to ratings, etc. I am not on Twitter, and really have no clue how it all works. I've tried to read some of the Twitter stuff following the links provided here for different housewives, and don't really understand it. Secondly, and this is probably more regarding Bethenny than any of the other housewives, but do you think it is actually Bethenny that is tweeting ALL of the stuff on her Twitter page? I mean, she has at least three employees that we have seen - don't you think that at least one of them is in charge of her social media pages?
  11. OTOH, if I had religious restrictions on the foods I can eat, or if I had an allergy to something, and I was offered something I've never heard of or eaten before, I would ask what it was or what ingredients it contains. Not everyone knows the religious food restrictions of all religions, and no one should be expected to.
  12. Ha-ha! I thought the same thing, but then figured maybe she just uses it as a walkway between the dining area and the living area. Their apartment's living spaces look pretty cramped from what I could determine - she seems to have a fairly large dining table (I think I counted 8 of those ugly acrylic chairs), and their living space with a sofa and TV looked to be crammed in on the opposite side. About the Keurig - no one in my house drinks coffee (I'm a tea drinker and my husband doesn't drink either one). I've had two Keurigs already. The first one-a very large and fancy version that was a gift from our sons-stopped working after one year of very minimal usage. I purchased a second one - smaller model, single cup, just to have on hand. But, when I make coffee for anyone who comes to the house, I prefer to use my regular Mr. Coffee type coffeemaker. Also - maybe they have a Starbucks or other local coffee shop just downstairs that they frequent, so that could be why she doesn't know how to make coffee. (I'm really trying hard to give her the benefit of doubt with that one - what I'm really thinking is, as mentioned upthread, that most of these "domestic moments" we are seeing are all for filming, and her housekeeper or nanny are the ones who really know their way around the kitchen.)
  13. Kathryn will be asked back next season for two reasons: 1. She came away from this season pretty much unscathed, and didn't make any serious faux pas. She was mid-range likeable and shit-stirring. Enough of both that she could be asked back. 2. She and Donny recently purchased that new home in France - a perfect place to host the requisite "girls' trip".
  14. Where is Stella when we need her? If I remember, she used the term "badass" constantly, either describing her designs or herself!! :-)
  15. Right?? When I think of seersucker, I think of either baby rompers or mens' summer suits worn in the South.
  16. Badass elegance?? Another stupid challenge parameter. It can't be said enough how much Alyssa's stylists must really hate her - that was one of her worst judge outfits ever, and that is saying something. I love Debi Mazar, and I liked her comments and critiques. Happy that Emily won - her outfit was the only one, imo, that really embodied the challenge (didn't like the hair styling, though). Agree with the poster upthread about Sam's signal to Isaac with the flats. I thought that jumpsuit was ridiculous, and there is no way in hell that you could take seersucker and make it anywhere near "badass". Was it Isaac who mentioned "Baby Bjorn"? (And was actually criticizing something that Sam did) -- I'd have to agree - it looked like an outfit for a new mom, with baby carrier already attached. Loved that Ken defended his outfit, but we did see a slight spark of that old fiery temper of Ken's - he brought himself back in, though. He'll need to watch his back in the future if he wants to stay. Overall, I agreed with judging tonight, finally. I liked Zac's comments about Kini. Oh, and Isaac - in case you didn't know it, even though you are not an "old geezer", you do come across as one, lots and lots of time!
  17. Last year, when we were first introduced to Dorinda and John, I felt that they would be better suited for RHNJ, because he reminded me of a blend of the two Joes and Richie Wakile. I still feel the same way. So far, John seems like an okay guy - just very rough around the edges. I'm from NJ - I know lots of guys just like him. They are fun to be around, like to party, and put everything out there - good and bad. Would I want to be married or in a relationship with them? Maybe or maybe not, but it's Dorinda's choice. If he makes her happy, than friggin' be happy for her!!
  18. She was in the audience last night on WWHL, and she told Andy that she thought the fried shrimp were latkes....well, I've never seen a fried shrimp look anything like a latke, nor have I ever seen a latke that looks like a fried shrimp. As often as we have heard this season that Yolanda has "the Lyme's disease".
  19. Oooh...how would your wife like to host a lingerie party for the PTV'ers?? ;-)
  20. Yes...I get being kosher, and following the tenets and rules of that, but the way she stuck her hands in that ice bucket, it was as if she had touched acid or something, and needed to clean her skin before it fell off! Not only that, but, as you said, she contaminated the ice, and then proceeded to use the same ice to make a drink for Dorinda (who clearly did NOT need another drink!!!). While Jules was so worried about her religious beliefs, she was not at all concerned that perhaps someone in that room could have a serious shellfish allergy, and anyone using that ice after her could have had a major allergic reaction. That really bugged me. I'm not sure I'm liking Jules. She reminds me, as a poster upthread said, of Megan from RHOC, in so many ways, and I really, really did not like Megan at all.
  21. I agree - I'm not body-shaming her at all, but when they were at the bra party (ridiculous, imo) - Jules' arms in that tank top were scary thin. She was practically skeletal. Carole and Bethenny are skinny, but Jules is beyond even their thinness. Bethenny has curves - granted, her breasts are implants - but she has a very nice figure for a very thin girl. Carole is closer is body shape to Jules, but she has more meat on her. Although, we did see Jules eating a carrot or two and ALMOST eat a fried shrimp.
  22. Wow - I had no idea - he's very talented! (I can't hate him, either - there's something very likable about him!) :-)
  23. Lisa Rinna should take a cautionary note from Bethenny Frankel. Bethenny and Lisa have similar personality traits and other things. They both have foul mouths, they both like to talk over other people, and they both like to make everything ALL about themselves. They both think they are funnier and more glib than they actually are. They both declare that they will put the truth out there, no matter the cost of anyone else's feelings. Well, Bethenny's talk show tanked so bad, it wasn't funny, and she had a huge CURRENT fanbase - even her most die-hard fans must have found that show hard to watch (I tried a couple of times, but just hated it sooo much!!!). Rinna's current fanbase is not as big, especially since she has decided to be the RHOBH villianess this season, it seems she lost a lot of fans. And her remaining fanbase is a small group that may remember her from her soap opera days. And now, that the talk show didn't work out for Bethenny, she is back to RHONY, because her narcissism won't allow her to be off-camera and live a private life with her daughter. I'm hoping against hope that Rinna's talk show will be picked up and she will say "adios" to RHOBH, I hope she realizes that talk shows are tough and hers will probably fail.
  24. Yes, and of course, it was some type of drink with lemon in it!!
  25. I had no problem with Kim being there, as you and other posters have said - she is Kyle's sister, and Kyle is, apparently, working hard at repairing/rebuilding her and Kim's relationship. It also seemed like Mauricio was genuinely happy to see Kim there, as well. We've seen him when he's been less than thrilled with Kim and her antics, and last night he was acting completely opposite of that. I'm just SOOO glad that Kim did not bring a "surprise guest" (aka-Brandi) as her plus-one!! Too bad Brandi didn't stick around - they would have found a whole lot of storylines there (along with a tampon string or two....)
