I love Tito, too, but he's been wearing a mask like that since at least the exhibition games. You would think the Indians in particular would be extra careful around Carlos "Cookie" Carrasco, just a year off from his leukemia diagnosis. Speaking of Cookie, he had his first start yesterday since May 2019. He went 6 innings and struck out 10. 😁

I saw that, too. That was Derek Shelton of the Pirates. He was later asked about it on ESPN, and he said that he and the ump had a chuckle about it later. Priceless!! 😂

As far as I know, the players are staying in their homes when not on the road. Not good.

Weren't they supposed to be spreading players out into the stands, etc.? So far, the commissioner's office has stayed silent on this matter (big surprise). Also, the managers and coaches don't seem to be enforcing these rules. As @mojoween said, if the season is cancelled then they all have to take their share of the blame.

Something I have been wondering about - weren't high-fives and such forbidden under the new protocol? Yet, it still goes on. I also saw at least one batter spit something out at home plate. Maybe the winning teams could scrap their post game celebrations. @mojoween - great minds think alike - at the same time!!

I know we have said this before, but Jimmy looks like he's literally rolled out of a gutter and into the studio. All of The Roots look well-groomed and while their clothes are casual, they are clean and presentable. Jimmy, you have a house in The Hamptons. You can afford a trim and a shave.

I grew up watching Reege. Feelings about Kathie Lee are mixed at best, but there was never any doubt about how much she adored him. That's more than we can say about her successor. From Live to Millionaire to his varied appearances on late night shows, he was the man. I actually happen to like the piped-in crowd noise. Without it, MLB would feel like golf. Plus, I figure any type of crowd noise equals white noise to the players and helps them get in the zone. Of course, the crowd noise is also there to drown out certain words from the broadcasts - though I still have heard a couple of F-bombs after a pop out. Like most everything else, it's not a foolproof system. 😉
