More Nitro Circus guys that Travis can't judge. Yawn. To be fair, though, RWilly (Ryan Williams) is one of the most ridiculous action sports performers out there. The stuff he can do on a BMX bike is downright mind-boggling. Just ask TJ Lavin. The stuff they did was lame compared to what they normally do, but I'm sure they'll ratchet up the difficulty later on. Globe of Death with freestyle moto over it? Eh. Escape artist with sob story? Nice trick. I liked the 360-degree trapeze-ists. There's potential for some cool stuff there.

This show has no heart and no one learns or grows from their experiences/mistakes. So, was Colleen despicable too? Or are we supposed to assume she was the moral glue that kept these miserable twats in line?

I don't consider it a retcon - she was expecting it, but I think he finally gave up trying.

"Nude & Screwed" FTW

Magnum P.I. (2018) - General Discussion
Tachi Rocinante replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Magnum P.I. (2018)
10th grade and driving? If he's any good at basketball, he should be solid as a senior. -
I was too distracted by Morena's atrocious accent and gravity-defying boob tape. I did like the little "twist" that she was the girl in the Jeep The lead agent is not a believable "bad ass" at all I'll give it a few more eps to see if the need for copious handwavium is reduced.

Two parts? This should be half an hour. Talented behind the camera, painful in front of it.

Wow. Lots of cast-paring in this one! Vrille would be a cool Halloween costume, but nobody would know who you are. Way too much time with the cheap filter, and what sounded like Prometheus music played backwards. This ep even had a magic molar! I'm just watching now to see where they take the story.

S03.E15: Season Finale
Tachi Rocinante replied to Lady Calypso's topic in Celebrity Big Brother (US)
Late to the party because I binged and FF'd some, but was Todrick trying to resurrect the Derelicte line of fashion? (Apologies if mentioned in earlier threads.) -
Absolutely

Whenever I see Jayne Brook on this show, all I can say is "Pare so NELL" (from Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead)
-
Pike is either a clumsy misdirect or he had an attack of conscience. I don't think he wants to find New Eden because he won't fit in. ^Without a doubt. Didn't realize the actress who plays Audrey is a talented Tony-award winner. I was expecting some sloppy guitar miming.

The dude jumping the cars needs to do research on Steve Lewis and his That's Incredible! stunt gone wrong.
-
Travis being impressed by the "city rider" was the only thing worth noting because he asked him very specific and technical questions. He's not very believable otherwise. The dude has been involved with and done some of the most ridiculous stunts imaginable. Falling onto Legos is nothing. Terry Crews is a complete tool on this show.

Good episode, with some developments, plot movement, and answers. That being said, I still have no clue where it's going or what point(s) they're trying to make. It's all a thinly-veiled juxtaposition of religion vs. technology. And I hate it when showrunners use bad filters to make "fake nighttime". Half the episode looked cheap.

Good episode, if not a bit dreary. It sure seems like Asha went stir crazy and killed some folks, huh? I can't decide if Melanie is actually still alive or not. Australians are now extinct. Damn flu. One pet peeve - Zara's pregnancy pillow is awful and the actress just shot right up off the couch without even trying to fake a struggle.
-
-- Way behind on DVD -- I like the actress, but Tilly's childish outbursts are getting old already.

Worst. Retcon. Ever. Oh, and fuck Randy.
-
This would have been a decent Series Finale, actually. Roche won't be happy when he wakes up and finds out his wife is a mummy. (If that's who that was.) Who else was drawered?

Loved the shoutout to Exorcist III. Also, "Your Grandfather's table is crap."
-
So the Ba'ul are what happens when Space Samara Morgan goes into The Abyss. Got it.
-
I forgot to mention - I liked the crack about Campion's voice dropping, and the "Necro Slayer" game.
-
Did you accidentally skip it? The first few minutes of the episode was exactly that (on HBOmax.)

Nice to see Travis Fimmel didn't take any acting lessons between seasons. He couldn't be more wooden if he was playing a tree. I have no idea where the story is going, so I will stick around for a few more eps.
