OMG!! This made me laugh out loud. But then I felt bad. The drunken daughter needs desperate help. Hope the dual diagnosis place helps, I'd like to see a follow up on this girl.

Did Sam get Ruby's knife back? I can't remember?

She's definitely the IT girl right now. I just saw her in 3 Billboards Past Epping and she's Claire again - morose teenager. Same as she was in Little Big Lies. She has a lucky knack for finding a quality project, tho - or her management does. So I'm wondering if she'll spend much time with the WS girls. However she seems a fun girl off camera, the Js liked her at lot .... if only they'd let some of that come through.

Maybe change the colour of the business suits? Angels in white - demons in dark red? It would be kind of cool. and at least we'd know right away... oh, it's the angels.

It's an attempt at a copycat version of Supernatural featuring plaid wearing females. I don't see it gathering much moss - especially if they're going to focus on how brilliant and Mary Sue these teen girls are. I doubt they'll have the angst and darkness (and acting abilities) of the Winchesters. Teens don't tune in for that (well they did back in Buffy days but I think tastes have changed). A monster will attack the Patience Daddy, which she sees in a vision. They all flip hair, apply lip gloss and save Daddy who'll kiss and make up with daughter. Crap stuff like that. Charlie's Angels with monsters. What the hell is he talking about? Can we have this idiot attend a convention and do a panel?

I know right? I've never been as invested in any other show EVER. I will miss you Supernatural (warts and all). But I'll always follow Jensen's career. Hope he gets another gig quick.

Well, all I can say is that I enjoyed this episode way more than last year's mid-season finale with the brothers meekly going off to government jail.

There are some talented posters on here who should be writing for sitcoms. I've spurted out my morning coffee at least twice so far. The only person I really worry about is wee May.

Timing was off with my channel, lips did not match words. Very distracting.

I still don't get why angels are driving about in decrepit old cars and not transporting. Is it because their wings are broken still? They can't fix wings? And exactly how is Jack supposed to make new angels? But those boat dock scenes were awesome. The episode looked expensive sometimes.

Do you mean they re-do the guest's response to Dr. Phil because it didn't come off right in the first place? I read somewhere that the cases on Judge Judy are run-through with litigants before being filmed which kinda disappoints me. I was once in the audience of a Canadian chat show (years ago) and when I watched later on TV it was very different and out of order compared to what I experienced live - lots of really funny stuff was cut out. I also stumbled across a street taping of "Love it or List it" where the buyer had makeup constantly re-applied and the producer asked the same question over and over and more or less put words in the buyers' mouths so they didn't stumble or look blank. I think Phil needs to do an intervention with his wife. She is scary thin now and the Botox or whatever is damaging the nerves in her face. You can see as she talks that something is going on. It's kind of sad.

They're not caped crusaders wearing tights but they're heroes in my book. The flawed human kind.

Well, it didn't bother me like it did most others. Dean had just been informed his mother was still alive and being tortured. That he'd been wrong all this time and probably damning himself for not being a believer like his brother. His expressions leading up to pulling the gun on her were dark and pretty terrifying. Dean is human. He makes mistakes. His emotions overtake and he gets scary. We've seen it before. Usually he punches a wall or Sam or something. We all know there's no way in hell he would've harmed her. I actually think fingers should be pointed at Brother Sam who I would've thought would move to stand in front of her. However, I do agree there was no need for the scene at all. It's caused a bit of a ruckus online. She could have just reluctantly gone with. But still, we got some dark acting from Jensen. I mean, who'd cross this guy? I wouldn't.

Well, I did find myself wondering how she'd defecate and urinate in that Iron Maiden - that was about the extent of my investment in the scene. The father was a plot device intended to appeal to teenage female viewers, who will hopefully watch the spin off. Me too. At least one apocalypse per night on my TV these days. ::sigh:: It's them extra long bendy legs of his. Yeah, like the dark red 'murder' shirt. Everyone better watch out when he puts that on. I'm in Canada and can watch on our SPACE channel, thank goodness. Not only would I have to pay extra for the CW network, it's always so damned dark. Hope Supernatural continues to air on SPACE. I really enjoyed the episode. I'm liking this season much better than BMOL season. I'm also becoming attached to Jack and now kinda hoping he don't go bad on me. I wish they'd explain how he's supposed to be able to 'make new angels'? Lots of angel sex or something? It's the angels own fault, they're always down on earth stabbing each other. And no way we will see dinosaurs. Maybe a blurred flying dragon in the distance? I'm surviving the hiatus watching seasons 1 & 2 on Netflix. It ain't the same, tho, knowing what I know now. Dean will be apologising for the next ten episodes. LOL

Thank you @devlin123 great post! Jensen is providing us a glimpse inside Dean's absolute desperation. Dean is often wrong and yes he's an asshole sometimes, but Dean will never be predictable... He's way too cool.

To continue to save the day. I'd not bother with this show if it wasn't for Dean. I never know what he'll do next... always surprises me. Like who in a zillion years thought he would turn around and gank Death!!! The bugger!! I'd be more concerned if I were a Sam girl... or a Castiel girl. Cas is inevitably sent away on a mission to fuck up and be boring. Sam squints and patiently sighs to show how much he's improved since Samelia. But Dean remains wild and crazy action man - just like in the beginning. He's the only exciting unpredictable reckless character in the bunch. I don't want Dean to talk softly and get hit with a big stick. Just my opinion. I feel I'm alone here. :-)

Spoiler TV is reporting 0.5 and 1.74. I think it's steady as she goes.

Don't back Dean up against the wall. Especially when it involves family. I guess I wasn't as surprised as most. Seemed in character for me - his mom's in trouble. No way Dean would've carried through with any threat. But he can be damn scary and it gets the job done. Also - maybe he has a small residue of demon still left inside. LOL.
-
Thank you for this post @SueB. I had started my own reply but you said it way better than I ever could. This is Dean. Love him or hate him. (I'm actually a bit surprised they went there, tho. It's 8pm network tv, not HBO.)

I wish they'd try for just one season. An advantage-free season could be interesting. Maybe not tell the contestants until they've dug up the whole island looking. However I must admit Survivor voting is way more entertaining than Big Brother where the audience pretty much knows in advance who's being voted off and voting is unanimous. That Tribal Council last night was fun to watch.

I'm just watching episodes of this show now - I think they're re-runs. It always amuses me that every obese person featured refers to following a healthy diet as "work". They all whine the same thing to the doctor when their weight hasn't dropped, "But I've been working so hard". Working? They wouldn't know hard work if it hit them in the head.

Fans who record panels are my heroes. I'll never make it to a convention so it's beyond awesome to have the panels available on YouTube. However, I tried to watch a bit of this weekend's Gold Panel and had to stop. Either the person recording or someone sitting next to her has the most annoying laugh. It's like Jerry's girlfriend on Seinfeld. I wish things like this didn't drive me to distraction. I'll have to grit my teeth and bare it because it looks like a fun panel.
