I know a lot of the bickering is set up by production, but the Azan/Nicole fight segment was the real thing. The camera crew arrived right in the middle of the melee. I don't understand why Azan doesn't just tell her to go home. What's in it for him? Why is he putting up with this? I don't sense that he's dead keen for the green card. He seems content in his homeland, going to gym and coffee with friend. I don't understand why he's putting up with her abuse? Nicole: "Talk to me. Talk to me. Why don't you talk to me? Please talk to me. Stop walking away and talk to me" Azan: "Ok, I'm talking - so listen. I don't want to marry you. Go home"

I used to record this and watch TWD. Now it's the other way around. These couples are way scarier than any zombie.

When was this filmed? Are any of these awful people still together? And what exactly does Nichole want to talk about FFS?

I think it's too much 'bad guys overload'. Too many baddies. Too much going on. And writers must continue peppering the season with MOTWs. Dean enters "Any news on (insert name here)?" Sam taps on laptop "Nada. But I've found a job for us" I'm just re-watching season 1 and things were so much simpler then.

I'd just like Jensen to sink his talented teeth into something meaty. Purgatory Dean and Demon Dean were both hits despite only lasting a New York minute. Lucifer is a complete yawn (writing not MP) and AU Michael hohum so far. Even if it's just a couple of episodes I'd love me some Dean/Michael action. It'd be a shot in the arm for the show. How they'll achieve this I don't know... Just don't let the NepDuo write the SL or there'll be evil twins, torture and every dead person resurrected with a leg spell!!

I agree. Lots of people seemed to think it was on par with all the other season 13 episodes and a huge segment of the fandom are just happy to have Cas on their screens. I haven't read much complaining except here. But personally I'm glad it was this episode that aired on a holiday and not something like Advanced Thanatology which would have deserved much more than an 0.3

How often did she see her father? Did she stay with him for periods of time? Did she walk when she stayed with him? Why didn't he figure something was wrong? I don't know if Dr. Phil had been cautioned or censored in terms of the questions he could ask... but he didn't ask the obvious questions imo. I wish he'd had the father on the show not just clips. There should be avenues for doctors suspecting parents of having Munchhausen to report their suspicions to the authorities. But in this case nothing was done. Just transfer to another doctor. It's all so strange. And having perfectly good teeth removed - her saliva glands removed... who does this without testing first? And how much money was the mother making from all this? I didn't realize the government payout for handicapped children was so exorbitant. I would have thought it easier for the mother to just get a job.

Ratings are what makes them sit up and pay notice. If it was a regular Thursday and numbers plummeted especially in the second half hour - then that's a good indication to the Big Wigs the episode was rubbish. But they've got the Thanksgiving excuse. Damn!! Also - I don't know what's going on with Misha but I want to slap Cas these days. He's not phoning it in.... but he's not in his game.
-
They have? This episode was childish in the extreme. NepDuo go for shock value - never mind if it makes any bloody sense. And I'm 100% certain the two of them have never watched a single episode other than their own juvenile drivel. I'm not so frustrated by the absurdity of Ketch resurrection as the absurdity of the whole fucking episode. The one silver lining - Dean was the smart one and got in some cool punches. Maybe these two nincompoops like Dean? So there's that.
-
Ratings for the show have crashed as expected - 0.3. I get irritated with the 'squee' bunch on twitter - their asinine tweets are the only ones re-tweeted by cast members such as MP.
-
They're getting sloppier and sloppier. I'm re-watching season 1 and they were flipping brilliant back then! All those concussions are having an effect.

Andrew is in a bind when one of the writers is married to an executive (or whatever Bob is). And poor Dick Jr. getting stuck with directing this one.... They don't plan ahead. And I'd rather they brought back Mick than one-note Ketch. They should've had him say "Chewbracca" (sp?) that would've at least given us all a laugh.
-
The ridiculousness of Ketch returning didn't bother me as much as Cas sitting and chatting in a bar with Lucifer. I'm not keen on the actor portraying Michael. Not enough oomph - he's supposed to be an archangel. Mark P is the stronger actor but I really want Lucifer dead (for good) and maybe Michael get a chance at a story.

Too much happening - and none of it making much sense. The NepDuo always crowd out their writing with so much going on. They should stick to one supernatural event and try to write that well instead of packing the episode out with just 'stuff'. These people should be writing for Saturday morning kids' adventure shows, not adult series. And don't get me started on the comings & goings at the bunker - I keep saying they should put a Starbucks in that front lobby for all the visitors. And, Sam... Dean would've checked all cavities for lock picks or at least have shackled Ketch so that he couldn't reach said cavities. And Passive Cas not telling S&D that Luci is out when he had them on the phone.... I mean...wouldn't that be the first thing he'd say? I was yelling with frustration at the stupidity. Anyway, Dean looked HOT. Dean was the smart one. 2 points for that.
-
I'm always rooting for this show. But not this week. Dick's directing was ok I guess, but the NepDuo plot was beyond embarrassing. I hope everyone ate turkey and celebrated with family. I hope no one watched this travesty.
-
Maybe next week Dean gets out of the shower and jokes with Sam that he had this crazy dream....
-
Nothing made any sense.

I'm surprised the remaining hunter community hasn't taken up a collection for Sam and Dean to retire. They're more dangerôus than the monsters sometimes.
-
Writers are protective of Sam for the most part and Jared is pretty good at those tolerant sighs and eyerolls. In this scenario think they should equal it out a bit and emphasize that Sam is only being 'nice' to Jack because he might be useful in terms of opening the rift. If mommy dearest wasn't stuck in the AU Sam would be just as wary of Jack. Sam uses people. Jack is sweetness and light (and cute according to online fans) at the moment. He will turn. He'll be bad for a while, but will have an epiphany and kill Dad. I think TPTB will keep him around. He's proven popular and he can come in handy. He and Dean will be best buds too. Dean will always be the Stubborn Dick most episodes. But writers do seem to make him 'right' most of the time... thing is, folk just don't take notice.

I think the worst part of their working season is almost over now. It's a long hard haul from July to December. I think things get easier for them once the holidays are over and they get more weeks off. And although Vancouver is beautiful... there's lots of rain and dreary days which must be depressing for two Texans. Long nights, short days. It's dark at 4 o clock in the afternoon. I've always wondered why they don't film from March to November when it's nice summer/fall weather in BC and can replicate more US States. Also summers are supposedly brutal in Texas (I've never been) and Texans stay inside with the AC.
-
Vancouver is truly breathtaking - mountains and ocean. But both Js have Texas in their souls so I guess to them it's worth the flights back and forth. I did think at one time they owned or rented a private jet? When Jensen mentioned he must take two flights (I think he said this on the Kelly show) I was surprised. My dad was a printer and worked nights to get the newspaper out. So he slept during the day and we had to be quiet. But I was lucky enough to have a wonderful dad (and mum). Lots of love and support makes up for everything.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL MY AMERICAN FRIENDS!! Enjoy your turkey with family and friends!! Canada has now reaped the benefits of your Black Friday so I'll be Christmas shopping at the Mall. If I see a good price on season 12 I might buy it... but so far it's the only dvd in the series I don't own. I wish Supernatural would do a Thanksgiving or Christmas themed episode ...
-
Just my opinion.. But he didn't ask the obvious follow up questions.
-
It was so totally weird. I have the same WTF questions about the sex in the handicapped restroom at the movies. And why didn't doctors follow up or alert authorities regarding the Munchhausen diagnosis? Dr. Phil is not a very good interviewer for these types of stories.
