Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore
xwordfanatik replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
If people are going to buy those ugly clothes, I'd rather that Christine sells them, unless of course, Meri signed her up and is getting a cut. Then, no. -
Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)

So that whole interview is made-up bullshit? I've never heard of the product that they're hawking. And add it to vinegar? CNN? I doubt it. I can just hear Doofus, saying, "let's sue the bastards" or something like that. -
Dear Gwen, sorry to say, you've fallen for your no-taste sis Mariah's love of holey jeans. I have to say, they look better on you. Ysabel, it's nice that you picked unholey pants. Be a rebel!

I can't be the only one that just thought of something like this. OK, here it is. Dillweed & Jill seem to share a brain. The downside to this, of course, is that when one learns anything new, the other one loses an equivalent number of words, sentences, or whatever it happened to be. I'm sure I read upthread that at least one other poster thought that Jill has regressed as of lately. Could it be due to Dillweed going back to school, and learning new words, or even new thoughts, to crowd out all his previous hateful thoughts he's had in the last months or years? Wouldn't that be nice? Weird, I know.

S08.E12: Josiah & Lauren's Prank-less Wedding?
xwordfanatik replied to ginger90's topic in Counting On
Who is Dylan? Yes, that mouth wiping was like a little kid, trying to get rid of some relative's kiss remnants. Too bad Si and his brethren were not given a chance to use their hand as a substitute girlfriend, when they were young teens. Too many snitches and no privacy. What crap. -
@Celia Rubenstein, my spiritual sister-wife, I love you! And I hate avocados, too! Damn, that was funny. I'll have to share your alien dump analogy with the Mr. Love you too, @Kohola3! Dear @Natalie68, I still love you, even if you can stand avocados. We're alike in many other ways!

Either TLC is coughing up more money than I would have guessed, or Meri's been pilfering more than her share of $ through the lean years, or---can it be? Did Miss Special Snowflake take out the evil Student Loans, that her dear dad has preached against? Shit. WTF was wrong with me? I should have married a showboat polygamist salivating to go public, and let him take other wives to work full-time, or required to take care of multiple kids full-time, while I just flitted around at part-time jobs, and hoarded more $ than I needed, because I was FIRST, and dammit! I deserved it! Who gives a rat's ass that I couldn't have my eight kids, that I keep insisting I planned on? Everyone knows I work my ass off taking care of my sister-wives kids! Oh, wait...no I don't. I take my traveling pants (well, not technically pants) on the road whenever I damn well fill like it, and tough titty for my precious family! Great, Mariah! Because of your selfish mother, you can afford mills (meals, in normal-speak) that most working folks can't afford. Good for you.

Got it. She sounds like the type that thinks she is "all that."

I find hashtags incredibly annoying. Over on the Sister Wives forum, I bitch endlessly about what I think is overuse of the hashtags. Jilly could take lessons from you on blogging! Seriously, your version is at least fun to read. I don't mind emojis like I do hashtags. LOL. What's this Pickles person like? I hear her referenced quite a bit here.

Whaaaat? Never heard that before!? Or that, either! How bizarre. -

I've taken a low-dose antidepressant for years. If I had to live that plyg-life, I'm sure I'd be on the maximum dose. Having to dill with drama? And Meri and Kody in particular? No thank you. -
Were they Arrowroot crackers? I loved sharing those with my daughter, and they were yummy.

The Other Duggars: The Lost Girls and Amy

That didn't occur to me, but you are probably right about the arms bulging out her shirt like that. She could be embarrassed that she's getting boobs. I know I was, when I was 10 or 11. I was an early bloomer, and very self-conscious of it. I remember one boy in 6th grade saying to someone, "she's more stacked than my mom." I was mortified. As a shy introvert, I've never liked that kind of attention, especially not as a pre-teen. And I wasn't even raised with the idea that being a brood mare and helpmeet were my only options. Poor Jenny. -
S08.E12: Josiah & Lauren's Prank-less Wedding?

Superficial notations from me: Really, Josiah? White socks with your suit, on your wedding day? Who dressed you? Joy's hair was greasy looking as hell, in the TH's and when she was donning bridesmaid's getup. That D looked just dumb. V and D references did make me laugh. Are these fundie people really that clueless? Never a risqué thought? Huh. I don't buy it. So Sinner Twin was a groomsman, and Smuggar Lite twin wasn't? Why does Joe blink noticeably sometimes? Is it a nervous tic? Not snarking on Joe, I think he and Kendra are really a good match, unlike SiRen. I love Abbie already. It took me years to appreciate my curls, but I finally embrace them. I did find the comment about a Pentecostal Perm a bit puzzling. To me, they look natural. JD hopefully has no fucks to give over the bullshit courting rules. This couple seems genuine to me. Love reading the comments and other's views. -
If that is true, how sad. How is any woman supposed to be pregnant, nursing, and not be a normal weight for her height? That is all kinds of messed up.

JD and Abbie: Captured Before the Rapture
xwordfanatik replied to frenchtoast's topic in Counting On
My teeth are naturally slightly yellow. When I had my upper 6 "smile" teeth crowned several years ago, I knew that they should not be "denture white" so I had them match my 6 lower teeth. My uppers were worn and chipped, and they did a great job on my crowns, even recreating my natural diastema. Mr. Xword had his dentures slightly off-white, and they also have a diastema. I don't get the obsession with whiter-than-white teeth. Do the white strips even work? I know bleaching is something that dentists do, and I wonder if that makes teeth more sensitive to heat and cold, or more likely to absorb coffee/tea stains? Does JD need it, or does Abbie? Neither looked excessively discolored to me.- 4.0k replies

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
xwordfanatik replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Nope. I'm over 60, and rejoined Weight Watchers five years ago. While losing close to 100 pounds, I learned to like kale, brussels sprouts, jicama, and spaghetti squash. It's second nature for me now, to load up on fresh produce. I love looking at my cookbook collection for ideas, as well as online recipes that I haven't tried. I can't convince Mr. Xword to eat most green vegetables, so he eats mostly tomatoes and a few other raw veggies. It can be done :) -
Such a mismatch of fabrics IMO. Poor thing probably just had to use whatever was around. I can't snark on that. I can do basic sewing, from patterns on the easy side. Mending and reattaching buttons, I've done those many times. If this dear girl keeps at it, she may find she loves it, or not. I just find it sad that her mother has to post for her. Isn't she over 18? Words fail me.
-
I too find cults interesting. I have fundie relatives, and I have watched polygamist shows, including this one, avidly. I just find myself thinking that I was fortunate for at least having been raised by parents that weren't full-on any-kind-of-religious-devotees, to any extreme degree. When I drive about 3 miles west from where I live, I see a "LuLaNo" sign, that says "come shop with me." I'm not even tempted to stop. I wonder though, what kind of unsellable-on-line crap they are selling! No thank you please. Double that for buying anything the Browns are shilling, especially Meri.

Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore
xwordfanatik replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
How sad that Christine had to resort to striking a bargain like that, to get attention for herself and her kids. Yes, it seemed like the former wrestler really gave a lot of attention to Logan and Hunter, and maybe his other sons that were into wrestling? I also remember Logan getting a bar mitzvah. Is that Day-un? At least Christine is amenable to taking her "bonus" kids along on outings. -
Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore
xwordfanatik replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
Least of all, when she was born. Doofus could hardly tear himself from Robyn's willing arms, to witness her birth. It just seems to me, that the kids he had with Christine, were valued somewhat less, considering the ratio of 1 boy to 5 girls. At least that's how I saw it. -
LOL, there's actually a book called "I <3 My Little A--holes" or something similar. #mykidssuck, too funny! I'm inclined to hate hashtags, personally.
