They're trying to relate to those of us that do (or did) juggle 40+ hour workweeks, take care of one or more kids, and have nobody to help out. Mr. Xword and I worked different full-time shifts for many years, and it was a rarity when we had a day off together. A day off together on a Saturday or Sunday, when our daughter wasn't in school, was even harder to come by. Dear Mr. and Mrs. Babe: I'd say you have it pretty easy. Don't pretend you're using a washboard at the nearest river to wash clothes.

I never heard of the boys having to take their pants down, at my school. What a deterrent, if true, or even the rumor of such! No girls were swatted at my school, as far as I know. I tended to be a goody two-shoes (for the most part!) so I don't remember hearing what happened to the naughty girls. I may have detected the beginnings of a smile on Sam during the video above. It does seem like poor Izzy is resented by his dumbass parents.

@Zahdii, great post! My dad had to wear knickers to school, a la the Walton's John-Boy. He used to tell me that "times were tough," and I believe it. I agree that Jill is already planning her golden years, via her kids. With what? 13 of them thus far, odds are someone is bound to marry into Fundie Royalty, and willing to take the poor grifting parents in, out of the guilt trip that this couple lays on their kids each and every day of their lives, from birth.
