My mother used one of these! She ironed a lot when I was growing up. Mom had the attitude that my sister and I couldn't do it as well as she did, so we escaped ironing and a lot of household chores that one of my good friends was expected to do. Yes, beige is her favorite color in recipes, so it seems natural for her to wear it. At least it doesn't have obvious holes, like the t-shirt Dillweed once wore, that looked like the armpits had rotted out.

Another fad for her fellow Strifers? Does she spend all day looking for the newest craze instead of exercising, which might actually help her with weight management? Of course she does. It's easier than shoveling snow (which I've done a lot of lately.)

This episode showed Mitch's mother, and the coming episode preview shows the wives with her in Seattle. Has any mention been made of Mitch's dad? I can't help thinkingk that maybe mom didn't want dad to take other wives, and he did so, and they split? Just speculation on my part. Mitch should be thankful that Aspyn pursued him. I think that she could have done much better. Kootie no doubt would love it if Mitch does go for polygamy, if only to make it seem like he (Kootie) isn't the only horndog in the bunch.

How sad for Aspyn, if Mitch wants what his sister chose, and goes for polygamy. I can't fathom why Aspyn would marry anyone remotely connected to that "lifestyle." Surely she's seen how unhappy her mother has been over the years? She's a college-educated woman. Why settle for a questionable mate?

Meri actually picked out that 3 sizes too small dress from a local shop. No one had the balls to tell her how awful she looked (just like now, with her tight LLR rags!) Robyn's dress from the student designer didn't work, so she had her matronly funeral dress in her closet. Janelle and Christine actually wore what the designer "created." Yep, horrific is how they appeared.

Hmm. I thought they were pretty free in LV. I'm inclined to think that Kootie & The Gang weren't getting enough attention in LV. Since Flag seems to be a higher cost city compared to many other areas of AZ (only from what I've read) I wonder if they have a backup plan (and jobs lined up) if SW should get cancelled. BTT: Seems to me that many of these women just go along with it to keep their man. I don't believe for a minute that these wives are on board with it.
