  1. I always thought it was Danny, Erin, Joe, Jaimie, so I must have missed where Joe was referred to as the oldest. To further complicate this, Mary's grave stone shows she was born in 1960, so she started popping out kids at possibly 12. ETA: https://bluebloodstv.fandom.com/wiki/Mary_Margaret_Reagan shows 1955, but i could have sworn I saw 1960 in a cemetary scene from the show.
  2. If the episodes were filmed in order, this was crazy good luck that it turned out the be the season finale! I really enjoyed it and haven't watched an episode that I didn't seriously multitask through in a long time. I bet the season was supposed to end with Eddie being pregnant. I hope there is a next season. Sometimes it's boring but overall a good mindless show to watch.
  3. I agree that there were some scenes where he didn't come across well, but IMO, this is so heavily edited to make it not be a snoozefest. That speech that Dr. Now gave him was so over the top and totally out of proportion to the things Tim actually said. I really do believe these shows are more scripted than a regular tv drama.
  4. Wow! People really don't like Tim. Actually of all these people on here, they seem like the most normal couple, having normal couple issues. He doesn't strike me as a bad guy. I find them kind of cute together. I do wonder how they ever got together in the 1st place though. FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS WEAR THOSE WHITE JEANS!!
  5. I don't follow NCIS but I remember reading about that, however don't know enough to comment. SB was cagey, but later she said something like she was assaulted in a room full of grown men and no one did anything. I'm recounting this from memory, so that's not exact but you get the jist. It could have been as innocuous as grabbing her butt, but I can't imagine she would walk away from such a sweet gig over that, so although it's just speculation on my part, I really feel it had to be bad for her to leave. I loved her as Erin and she is sorely missed. Both her and JB must be really good actors because their scenes were great and they seemed to have to appropriate father/daughter type vibe. Agree, her scnes with Burgess and Platt were awesome!
  6. I'm thinking you meant Army Wives and if you did, YES!! That is the most accurate comparison IMO and spot on! I just stumbled onto this while being confined due to Covid and found it really entertaining. Never read the books, don't like Hallmark movies (although I get the comparison), but so much better! Good acting and the right balance of drama/romance without being gag-worthy made this a really good watch.
  7. I reread my comment and in hindsight, it came across harsher than intended, so apologies for that. I'm too lazy to look up the articles that came out significantly later than her original departure, but it seemed obvious, at least to me, that there were some very definite issues on that set that weren''t addressed, making the situation unbearable for her. I'm going on nothing more than instinct and common sense that it had to be bad for her to walk away from such a lucrative deal, especially since she hasn't done anything newsworthy since then, except for a single episode on This Is Us. Thinking Mr. Beghe has some serious issues, but then again, he is the show! They were never going to do anything to him unless some kind of criminal chargs could be brought, which is really hard to prove. As far as an actor, I love Jason Beghe, but that doesn't mean he's not capable of being a total slime bag in real life. At the same time, he was going through an ugly divorce, so I don't think it's that much of a reach to think he was totally inappropriate or out of line with her. She may be unlikable IRL life as I don't really follow her, but I hate to trivialize what I believe was a serious injustice towards her. We can agree to disagree😐
  8. Seriously?? You might want to educate yourself on why she left before saying something so ridiculous and heartless. Google is your friend.
  9. MY DVR recorded this for some reason so i watched it. I don't remember it from before, but it was really boring in a good way!! They were happy and I did some snooping and it looks like they are still together. Tim was kind of hot! Looks like there is a follow up episode for her next week.
  10. I realize they were in a bind, but as a series finale, I think it was pretty awful. I've watched this faithfully from the 1st episode and it's hard to see what was once such an entertaining show go out in such a cluster---! Although it was beyond their control, it was really disappointing.
  11. This^^ Why can't we get a good Atwater story about something besides him being black??
  12. That is what is widely thought because of the weather, but I've also heard it's because of the politicians were "windbags" and totally corrupt. Goes back to when it first became a city. That is the accepted legend locally.
  13. That really bothered me! I have lived in Chicago my whole life and try to keep an open mind about some of this stuff, but that was just awful!
  14. Wow!! That was a tough episode to even watch! Interesting since it wasn't originally meant to be a season finale, but turned out to be a good end to the season. Was good to see Price! I always liked him, even when I didn't. I originally held out some hope for Doyle, when he asked Kevin out for a beer, but damn if he didn't just cement who he really was. He learned absolutely nothing from his original situation with Atwater. Nada! Was not sorry to see him die. Will be interesting to see what the early episodes next season are and what the fallout for Kevin is, since this was not originally meant to be the end of the season. Hope there's some follow thru with this. No way they are not out to burn Atwater now.
  15. Pretty lame as a season finale, but it wasn't written as one, so can't really fault them. Having the Crockett murder thing carry over until next season could have been an easy fix, but that was kind of dumb anyway. Meh.
  16. That poor kid is going to be ruined for life if she doesn't get some stability in her life and at least one person who actually acts like a parent. Sugar bear is a brainless decaying child. Jennifer is only interested in showing up June and Punkin, while she tries, is barely an adult herself. It's very sad.
  17. Ever since June's meltdown at the end of last season, I feel like I'm watching something I shouldn't be seeing. Instead of watching scripted reality TV, i feel like I'm watching the true disintegration of a family. It's sad that it's happening and even sadder that they continue to do it. I'm sure they don't have much of a choice since none of these people seem to work.
  18. That little smirk he gave at the end when he said "we're all a family" said exactly what he really thought of that!
  19. I kind of am too. The longer it goes on, even when one or both get on my nerves, it's apparent they will be a family. And a cute one! Burgess surprised me being so cool with him sleeping with that bartender. Even though it's obvious he's massively hung up on her, she seemed like the type that would still think she was in her rights to torture him about it, even though she knows shes #1. Lots of good scenes between them in this episode.
  20. Such a tease to mention Catherine if they're not going to ride off into the sunset together.....................Looks like he'll be riding off with Danny! OOOPS!! So glad to be wrong!
  21. You probably wouldn't really want her!
  22. Upton was such a witch in the first 10 minutes. She was way out of line! For those of you that watch CPD, they have ruined her character.
  23. I don't disagree with any of that, but there is something I find fascinating about him. That doesn't mean he's someone to be admired. This show from the begining has been about cops going into Intelligence and turning to the dark side. Burgess used to be all bright eyed and idealistic and she's a whole different character now. Haley started out with some balls but also with some ethics and she's literally Hank Jr. now. If they plan out the series finale correctly ( I know it's been renewed for 3 years) the series should end with Voight back in jail where he started, along with all or most of his team. A good twist would be someone in his unit getting promoted over him and being the one who puts him away.
  24. That would be awful and would really piss me off, but they would absolutely do that!! There has to be a reason he was featured so prominently with his daughter.
  25. Thank You Thank Tou Thank You!! That makes so much more sense to me!! Then it would absolutely be age appropriate. It also tells me that Kevin goes on to have more than one set of twins!
