  1. Yeah I can’t say any of this really interests me. Themyscira prequel series might be be interesting, but Game of Thrones style? Hard pass. Batman and Robin….but with Damian? Really? And Damian is their favorite Robin? Ok then. 🙄 And… Exactly! As for Waller, Peacemaker and Suicide Squad aren’t my thing, and I doubt this will be either. No, I don’t see anything here that interests me.
  2. If that’s true, I guess that means Gal’s out too. 😢 Thanks James Gunn. I have now officially lost whatever enthusiasm I may have had for your….whatever it is you are doing.
  3. Yeah that’s the most annoying thing about this whole mess.
  4. Lol agreed. I would argue that the one thing WB/DC has mostly gotten right is their casting (obviously not including the whole Ezra Miller debacle 😬), but I am not a fan of either the Affleck or Pattinson casting. I actually hope they keep most of the current casting, though, especially Gadot and Momoa.
  5. Deadline is making it sound like WB still wants to do a WW3 with Gal Gadot; they just didn’t like Patty Jenkins’ story. Which I can’t totally blame them for, if it had the same issues WW84 had. I loved the first one, but the second one was….not good.
  6. Deadline covers James Gunn’s response, and gives more details on the WW3 situation:
  7. Oh wow. That is awful. 😢 He was my favorite when I was a kid, as obviously he was for many.
  8. I just saw this….such a shock! His voice was Batman. Wow. 😢
  9. It seems to be, according to Deadline. Marvel Shifts Release Dates For ‘Blade’, ‘Fantastic Four’, ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’, Next ‘Deadpool’ Among Disney Moves
  10. I’m still kind of hoping they’ll announce a Season 2. Yeah, I know. 😕
  11. From Matt’s Inside Line: Not surprising, considering the new management, but still…😕
  12. I’m thinking Young Justice is dead, after the comments about cutbacks in kids and animated programming. I don’t know what that means for Harley Quinn - it’s animated but not a kids show. As for the rest, I’m guessing Titans is done? And the CW shows may not go past their current seasons. I don’t have any idea about the rest.
  13. A Nova project is in development. But I don’t know that it’s ever been confirmed whether it’s a film or a D+ series.
  14. What TV shows does DC have remaining? Superman & Lois - CW Stargirl - CW The Flash - CW (cancelled - airing shortened ninth season) Gotham Knights - CW Titans - HBO Max Harley Quinn - HBO Max Doom Patrol - HBO Max Young Justice - HBO Max What am I forgetting?
  15. I ran across this interview that has some additional details on this. I was particularly interested in the idea that Cody was originally supposed to have a fairly large role. I wonder why they didn’t use that in the series? Maybe in a second season, if it ever happens? Obi-Wan Kenobi Writer Reveals Commander Cody's Scrapped Role (Exclusive)
  16. Yes, that seems to be correct. And apparently there’s also a Nova series in development, so that’s at least two more to add to the list.
  17. Maybe this is part of what’s causing the different feel, as well as the more compressed time frame. 23 movies for Infinity Saga vs 19 for Multiverse isn’t really that big of a difference, especially when you include all the D+ series. But marking each phase with an Avengers team-up does make it feel a little different. A bit more….cohesive, possibly? I’m not sure if that’s the right word, but it’s the only one coming to mind. Although admittedly, with the more compressed time frame, doing an Avengers movie per phase isn’t really feasible.
  18. According to Deadline, Marvel still has three reserved dates in Phases 5 & 6 that they haven’t announced movies for. So Deadpool 3 could still go into one of those slots.
  19. It’s interesting that the Infinity Saga was spread over 11 years (2008 - 2019). Whereas if this Multiverse Saga wraps up in 2025, that will be just 4-5 years from beginning to end. I know they’re doing more projects per year than they were then, with all the D+ series and 3-4 movies a year, but still. I didn’t expect them to wrap it up quite so quickly. I wonder what comes after this? The Mutants/X-Men Saga maybe? Maybe this “Multiverse Saga” is just a bridge to that?
  20. Yeah that line made me wonder whether they were killing Shuri off. I know we see her in the trailer, but that scene could be taken from anywhere in the movie.
  21. So, to summarize: She-Hulk: Attorney at Law - August 17, 2022 Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - November 11, 2022 What If…? 22. ‘Thor: Love And Thunder’ Drops -68% In Weekend 2; ‘Crawdads’ Sings $17M Tune – Sunday AM Box Office Update
  23. Yep. The Deadline article linked above talks about the Cinemascore as a predictor of the movie’s multiplier.
