My sister married a Canadian, and she used to go back-and-forth a lot. She started going up there for months, in 2001. 9/11 happened when she was up there, so mum was torn about going to get her, or leaving her up there. Immigration at the border (in Buffalo), mostly left her alone, until 2010, when they pulled her and my dad over, told her she could only be there for a month, and that she would need to get travel insurance for that month, as well as a bus ticket or something, showing that she had proof that she was coming back here. They got married in 2012, and she moved in 2014, when she was told that she couldn’t come back here for a while, when she was seeking permanent residency.

I don't like that Birdie is having an affair with the cop, either. If anyone hurt my pets, there would be hell to pay.
