  1. Bachelor:Nurse season is in full bloom. Madison had to be a producer plant. She looked 40, no way she’s 26, and a lot of fake crying, with some kind of weirdly Jennifer Coolidge affect that I can’t pin down. Wow. a guy who shut the door on some of the most fake looking blondes and instead chose mostly brunettes! Very refreshing.
  2. Hhm I didn’t know that about Victoria…what’s the reason she was arrested? I’m sorry to admit that I once begged a man not to leave. BUT that was my husband of four years who left me and our 15-month old daughter, which caused upheaval for the next decades. So, not exactly the same as someone you met a day ago! That was preposterous.
  3. Not that I expect realism, but as the mother already stated there was no family and nobody in her life, what did she expect would happen to her daughter if the mother died? I understand she felt she needed to sacrifice her life so her daughter could live, but somehow some way I wish they had insisted on finding someone on the father’s side. Maybe they could have been a match and healthy enough for a transplant, OR take the daughter home if the mother did die. I don’t like Cade, but I realized I did not feel happy watching Conrad snuggling up with Billie.
  4. I liked some parts, disliked others, and suspended disbelief for this finale. In the early seasons, with Chuck, I did love this show, but after that I was less intrigued and a little bored at times. I liked Jimmy McGill, but it’s true that even back when he had a heart, he was still part Slippin’ Jimmy. I did think he loved Chuck and he did do all those chores for him, trying to get his love reciprocated. Jimmy did truly try to help his elderly clients. But, of course, as Saul Goodman, he was a criminal lawyer, and it makes sense to me that his future is life in prison. Gene in my opinion was the worst…a true wolf in sheep’s clothing, and maybe seconds away from strangling Marion. So what happens to Jeffy? Do we know?
  5. I definitely recall a couple of weeks ago, when Jesse explained the rules for the girls’ separate journeys, he told the men that if you accept a rose from one woman, you will not be able to switch sides. So this entire Logan thing feels producer-driven, even more so since Gabby “accepted” him and then gave him a rose. If she were as tight with Rachel as they’d said, why would she keep a guy whose presence would be a reminder to Rachel of being rejected? That said, it feels to me like Rachel is sabotaging herself at every opportunity. It’s unpleasant to watch her and maybe to be around her.
  6. I also didn’t recognize Carol Burnett at first, until she wheeled over to the deli section. I remember when Elizabeth Taylor played a role on General Hospital. If I recall correctly, she loved the show and asked to appear. That show was in its heyday then, 1981 or so, but of course they loved having her. if I remember, Taylor’s plot line wasn’t really necessary and was created just to accommodate her. Therefore I’m wondering if Carol Burnett is a one-off who just wanted to appear and the show wanted her, or if she is going to appear further with more purpose. I’m speculating that she could act as the deus ex machina who brings down Gene altogether. That’s if Jeffy blurts out something to Mommy, or Mommy can sense something going on with her son. I didn’t particularly love this episode but I agree with others who have said that we needed to see the path that Gene takes, now that the series is nearly over. Otherwise it was an awful lot of effort put in by Gene to keep Jeff quiet. Of course Jimmy put in a ton of effort with his scam on Howard, but that’s because Kim was the main driver of that.
  7. There should be no world in which a Venn Diagram puts Howard and Lalo in the same circle. His death is 1000% on Jimmy and Kim, and poor Howard was right about every aspect of what they had become. If only he hadn’t gone to their home. Good writing, though. I didn’t see that coming. And I’m one who is a fan of how creepy cool Tony Dalton plays Lalo.
  8. So Kim’s mom approved of her committing petty crime, and as an adult lawyer, Kim grew up to represent people who are like she was; poor, unable to defend themselves properly. That Kim, and the hard-working Kim of days of yore, I like. This Kim, the U-turn Kim, I really don’t like. Putting aside everything she claimed to want, and the ability to represent poor criminals, so she can satiate her unreasonable hatred for Howard completely undermines any sympathy I ever had for her. I think Jimmy and Kim are completely overreacting, all this juvenile stuff with hiring actors and seeking veterinarian’s drugs, just for a vendetta against Howard. Kim’s mother didn’t think she had it in her, and Howard and Cliff have no idea she has this in her, either. Cliff is offering her what she claims to want, but her actions show she wants to cause pain more than she wants to help the downtrodden.
  9. I was thoroughly disgusted by this whole final season and particularly this finale. I wanted to know the same things as you’ve mentioned. After all this, who was still in The Twelve? Whomever was left was killed by Villanelle but we don’t get much of a look at who they are. We don’t know their whole motivation for being “The Twelve” at all, other than having learned they started as a 70s group of young people trying to be what? Revolutionaries? Why? How did they last through decades? Why were their enemies their enemies? What was their purpose? Did they have a mission or were they just hanging out, being Twelvish and ordering hits? I ADORED the first season. Personally I didn’t care at all about Eve and Villanelle having a relationship. I was intrigued by the spy stuff, the assassinations we didn’t see coming, like Bill. If I were Eve I’d hate Villanelle for that, as well as for Niko’s murder. I also loved Konstantin. My favorite character. I liked Carolyn until this last episode. Mostly in the first season, I found Villanelle intriguing. So stylish and such a clever and remorseless assassin. For me there is no closure. Why did Irina call her father? What did that add to the show? Or was it to telegraph that Konstantin would die? Why waste time with Pam and Gunn? They’re new, I don’t care about them, I wanted some sensible answers about what I’ve watched for four seasons, and waited two long years for the final season to arrive. If this show runner thinks that Eve’s scream was a triumphant scream then she truly has no idea about these characters. From what I see she was more interested in her vision of iconography—- how about that scene of Eve and Villanelle’s fingers not able to touch at the end? It was posed just like Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam in the Sistine Chapel, where God’s touch is about to give life to Adam. But here Eve can’t touch Villanelle and she dies instead. And Tower Bridge opening above when Villanelle dies, right beneath where Eve and Villanelle parted on the bridge two seasons ago. So much more to complain about so I’ll remind myself this is just a TV show and shut up.
  10. Is the actress who plays Padma pregnant in real life? Her face looked fuller to me, and there was an awful lot of arms crossed against her stomach, sitting behind a table and all that stuff. I knew I recognized the actress who played Gloria, but it took me a bit before I realized it was Vicki Lawrence.
  11. How long have we been waiting for this show to return? I can’t remember if it’s been one year or two? I was so looking forward to the show coming back, and I was afraid that with Covid affecting filming, we might not have a fourth season. But—- I was SO disappointed. The first season of KE was one of my favorite series ever. The second and third had some good episodes, but to me did not measure up to the first. This, though, was awful, in my opinion. I liked when Eve shot Konstantin, as he’s my favorite character and I enjoy when he’s on screen. Other than that, I really didn’t like it at all. If this were the first episode ever I would cross it off my list. I found it hard to follow even though I’ve seen every season, and I can’t explain why but it was creepy in a dismal way and not a fun way.
  12. I don’t find him bad looking; but dull, absolutely. Rachel: we are going in a clear-bottomed kayak Clayton: oh, is that so we can see what’s underneath? To me, that is a question not to be asked by anyone past the age of five. He just cannot make conversation. Serene: I’m in love with you Clayton: There it is!!! Etcetera. He just doesn’t know how to respond to things. With the one exception of telling Sarah she was fake crying; he always sounds to me like a supreme dunce. I know she doesn’t look like her, but for some reason Rachel reminds me of Renee Zellweger. I don’t know why.
  13. That would be great! Assuming Roland is single, let’s have a dual sibling Bachelor and Bachelorette season. 30 men, 30 women, what could go wrong?
  14. Serene looked gorgeous at the rose ceremony, and her brother is gorgeous as well. I was pretty sure though, that either she or Gabby would be leaving tonight. As I get older, I’m less able to tolerate the fakery of this show. We all knew that Gabby saying 20 billion times that she wishes her father could be there meant that her father would show up. Then the ridiculousness of him mutely with the cards. If the dad didn’t want to bring covid to his girlfriend, he still could’ve spoken to Gabby. They were outdoors and far apart, so it was still safe. And is there any earthly reason that Clayton couldn’t come outside to say hello? Especially since the father’s stupid cards said he hoped one day they’d meet? All fake for the sake of “drama.” Then the other father fakery drama. Rachel is “so terrified” that her father will scare Clayton away. But wouldn’t you know it, Tough Guy Tony is charmed by doofus Clayton. Clayton cannot hide his goofy grin whenever one of the women says she loves him. I agree that it’s just a validation to him that he’s a somebody. Unlike many others here, I think Clayton is nice-looking. But he’s kind of a wuss. He really did appear to be traumatized on that contraption with Serene, but who knows. To quote Elaine Bennis—-“ fake, fake, fake, fake, fake”
  15. I agree with you, I also thought that last week when Kit asked Billie if she had proof. Obviously Trevor’s existence is all the proof Billie would need. A DNA test and proof of Trevor’s age would show that Billie was pregnant at 13 and Porter is the culprit. ( I don’t want to even call him the “father”). I also agree that when Trevor finds out the whole truth, he will realize that Billie has in fact been protecting him, and he’ll know why she couldn’t warm up to him as her son.
  16. Mara does come off that way, but she’s from Puerto Rico, she’s not Italian. I’ve found her annoying since the beginning. To me she’s been overly aggressive all along, and completely oblivious to Clayton’s lack of interest in her. We know production sets up the dates, but if Mara hasn’t had a date, or a rose, she should at least wonder why she hasn’t been kissed (and thigh-fondled). Clayton kisses everyone, sometimes because he doesn’t know what else to do. But from what we see, he hasn’t made one move on her. He’s not into her and she can’t accept that, so she makes excuses.
  17. It’s all in your last sentence. I don’t think Shanae has a molecule of interest in Clayton and she doesn’t care what he thinks when this is showing on TV now. I’m of the opinion that she’s just trying to become a Bachelor “name,” with an eye to seeing whom she can tear into on Bachelor in Paradise. The show is giving her more airtime than anyone because the drama is their pot of gold.
  18. I think Billie’s look is very ethnically ambiguous. Trevor’s, too. Genetics are very surprising sometimes, so even if the bad doctor doesn’t look like he could be the father, I’m sure he is. Billie couldn’t have been impregnated twice when she was raped at 13. I liked the storyline with the obese actress, and A.J. was right about the harsh truth being necessary for her health. I didn’t love the storyline with the little girl, although I think she was a good actress. I agree that they’re setting up Conrad to be with the new dr or else with Billie. I don’t look forward to either scenario.
  19. Same. I normally scoff at TV-induced sentimentality, but when Gigi said “hi, mommy” I got all the feels.
  20. The Pete Davidson sketch made me happy, because I think it was two years ago, maybe the Christmas show, in which he was despondent and writing that he didn’t want to live anymore. And now here he is, the celebrity of the show and able to goof on it. So that’s at least one good thing. Please Lorne, give Paul Rudd a do-over. Lots of commercials but I suppose that was inevitable. They really had to come up with a Plan B very quickly.
  21. Yes, I posted a link to the source hours ago. From the Daily Mail, and it specifically mentions Colin Jost and Lorne Michaels have tested positive. Then it says “two other cast members.” But Colin is positive according to the article link I posted previously, if you scroll up.
  22. Remember when we were all astonished that Colin was the only one not wearing a mask during the Goodnights? I have no facts, just speculation, but maybe he’s the kind that refused to wear a mask everywhere, since he didn’t wear it indoors on the SNL stage when everyone else did. So I can’t directly blame him, not knowing his life, but now Colin has COVID-19 , some others do, and Lorne does. Which worries me because he’s older. This is my favorite SNL of the year, and I miss it when they always went ice-skating at 30 Rock, but I agree. It may be better to show a rerun and keep Rudd for when a live show is safer.
  23. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-10324749/Saturday-Night-Live-CANCELS-live-audience-limits-cast-crew-set-COVID-19-outbreak.html here’s a link to what I posted above, with more detail. Some cast tested positive, some don’t want to come due to omicron, and again, no audience. Which has to be done for safety, but makes me sad because I love Paul Rudd. I don’t know if we will even see many cameos as traditionally for the Christmas show.
  24. Just read that due to the omicron surge in NYC, there will be no live audience and what is listed as “limited cast and crew.”
  25. Kris must have saved this as a template so she could just hit “send” to the press on an annual basis. Or monthly, depending on how frequently Tristan gets caught. I have as much sympathy for Khloe as she had for the mother of Tristan’s first child, which is zero. She’s still in this fantasy that she ever meant anything to that POS, when all she ever meant was a coattail to ride to a different kind of fame than he had as an athlete. She was just his “Tuesday, 2:00 sex appointment.” And for a lowlife like him she mangled her face and body. I feel for this little newborn boy. Someday he will know how his father tried to pay his mother off. Even if she was looking for a payday, the baby is innocent.
