I’m rooting for Sol or Kyle. That’s it. Don’t like anyone else at this point.

Rome is intolerable and that aggressive behavior towards Sol should be prohibited. Of course Rome planted himself by the puzzle, could not do one piece, and ignored Sol’s suggestion that they switch. I was so hoping it was Rome's time to leave, but I’m mainly relieved that Sol lives to play another day. From what I saw it appeared that Sol is the main reason they did well at the challenge. Even Jeff was gushing over his needing just two turns to throw the two sandbags. I’m not going to miss Kishan at all, though.

If I recall correctly it was right before he went in for a kiss…not sure about that, but definitely he said “this is funner.” I missed him saying “alls.”

Interesting! I’m not on any social media so I’m completely unaware of what’s being said. To my mind, the court of public opinion is not a court of law, with death ending the case. If you agree to appear on a TV show where you consistently idealize your late husband, then it’s inevitable that any dirty laundry may be exposed.

https://www.justice.gov/usao-dc/pr/business-owner-arraigned-following-indictment-fraud-perjury-and-election-related-offenses Wow! Thanks Armchair, I did Google and I’m shocked! Why why why would Joan agree to be the GB when she knows her “perfect” husband’s crime had a good chance of being uncovered, since she’s in the spotlight?

Here’s April's story for anyone interested. She wrote a book called “Big Girls Do Cry.” Of course we only have her side of the story. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2659084/Frankie-Vallis-lover-lifts-lid-20-year-affair-reveals-cruel-controlling-uncaring-bed.html

Yes, she was pretty vocal about it when her show was on. Frankie Valli is another star who used to come to the free concerts on my block. He was in terrible voice, I’m sorry to say, and he kept leaving the stage. My neighbor who was a volunteer backstage said FV was doing cocaine although I can’t verify that.

I literally thought someone was brandishing a Wayne Newton mask at first until the mask started to sing. Fun fact: I live in NYC and for years and years in a park one block away from me, we used to have free concerts on Thursday evenings in the summer. All big names 20 years past their prime. Tom Jones, Art Garfunkel, Donna Summer, Pat Benatar, Todd Rundgren….like that. The ONLY person I ever skipped out on was Wayne Newton and that must have been many plastic surgeries ago. Scary even then.

Okay so I just finished watching this episode of the “Quaker Oats Show starring Joan.” I’m kind of nauseous. WHY IS GERRY THERE???? All it does is remind us of what a failure he was as the first GB. And why was the top part of his face cherry red? Was it the lighting, is he sunburned or is he some kind of goblin? Also, TOO MUCH GIL! I thought I’d read that they had edited him out as much as possible? Joan has a beautiful body and I think she dresses well (except for the diaper prom gown). I do have to agree though that she was very attractive and would have aged well, but her current face looks like a mask and is very unbecoming. I’m 67 and have done exactly nothing cosmetic. I don’t even wear make-up now that I’m retired. I have three grandchildren, one who just turned 20, and from when I was 47 until now, everyone who doesn’t know us well thinks I am her mother and never believes I’m the grandmother. I do dye my roots and that’s it, because it’s not something permanent like cosmetic surgery. I think Mark is very attractive but he lost me last week when he said that something was “funner.”

Oh, right, Gabe considering Caroline and Sue to be “wounded birds.” Meanwhile here is Sue, not just a pilot but the owner of a flight school. While Gabe is still fantasizing that he’s Indiana Jones or something.

I’m confused…isn’t Anika on yellow, not green? And Kyle was the one walking away knowing he wasn’t in on the vote? Not Ryan? I’m with you on Jeffy…he talks about “eras” more than Taylor Swift does.

Same. It was just TOO obvious. The truck was at the airport but Garcia was dead on his couch. So it seems highly unlikely that he left the truck at the airport to then what, walk home? That made me know he didn’t kill himself. If he got a ride home from leaving his truck at the airport then someone would have told that to the police. Especially when the police said his house had not been broken into, and here comes a young guy from another state with Garcia’s keys. Just seemed obvious he’d called from Washington to establish an alibi. i wonder had Jordan not called for a wellness check, would the police have known about him? I suppose so after finding cards and receipts but that helped put this guy on the radar.

I miss the days of two finalists, not the no-vote goat that we’ve had now for far too long. i also miss challenges that had no physical component, such as those multiple choice blocks they used to have to answer questions about their environment.

Oh, it was? My mistake then….I can’t even visualize who Kyle is. Okay, now I’m fully behind Andy having to go!

Jeff’s desperation to portray “new era” survivor as fraught with peril at all times is just maddening. And for some reason he felt the need to give a Survivor tutorial at the beginning? “ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN ON NEW ERA SURVIVOR! YOU MIGHT GET VOTED OUT!” I think Peachy was thrilled to have Andy passing out just to “prove” this game is DANGER at any moment. I do feel bad for Andy though because of living in 25 foster homes or something. But I agree, if you want to give NEW ERA Survivor a shot, then you need more verbal self-control. Also, what a waste of time to send two people on an expedition to get supplies for one tribe. It was done stupidly. Because DANGER! Why are half the contestants podcasters or similar?

I’m not a Jen fan, and I know this is a show about ratings and not about love, but that was CRUEL to make her sit with Devin and watch that proposal. The least they could have done is let her get offstage if they insisted on showing that, which we knew they would show because they teased that from the outset.

He definitely practiced for this thing Was it the main thing? :)

Jonathan cleaned up nicely compared to how he began, but I could never get it out of my mind that he was the one with the stupid bandaged face intro, ass hanging out. Grant seems like he’s already going through the motions and his season hasn’t even started. Can’t think of any guys I really liked this season. Well I did love Marcus, but I refuse to read spoilers, although I do know there are some rumors about him.. I’ll read all about it after the finale.

I’ve always thought I had a fear of heights, but I’ve come to realize it’s actually a fear of falling. I also cannot be near a railing, but I’m not afraid to be on a high floor. Here in NYC I live on the 11th floor and I’m fine with it, and fine on an airplane. i did once go parasailing in the Caribbean, and I screamed all the way as I was lifted up and then all through the time I was up there. For me it’s not being up high, I realize it’s being near the edge of something. i would never jump off that building, but I mean that very seriously. I agree with you—-if she were GENUINELY terrified, nothing would have made her go through with it. To me she seemed more pouty about him not listening to her than her being truly afraid.

So Sam N. I’m guessing is some paid actor. This was a pretty revolting about-face, otherwise. I cannot endure Jenn when she’s around Sam M. She sounds like a whiny little girl. As if we didn’t all know she would do the jump after all. That’s not love coming from him, just manipulation. I love Marcus the most, but did see how she and the now more sensitive Devin can actually help heal each other’s wounds. So now Jenn is on TV and the ex thinks it would be swell to join the men. Sure, that will go over great. Jenn must submit to the producers and of course Jesse’s role is to be the facilitator of all this.
-
Ugh. So many creepy men. Jenn is rubbing me the wrong way, as she did when she was a contestant. CUT THAT HAIR! REMOVE THE EXTENSIONS ! The hair is too much and she flips it too often. The FIR guy, he seems in it to win it but not because he’s into Jenn. I'm another who thought “Pete Davidson” as soon as I saw Devin and then especially when he started to speak. I like the guy from Vietnam because they share a culture, but she seems more into the frat bro type. The masked guy was not good looking and he played that out too long. I like Marcus. I cannot abide Brian who stole the car keys, nor Jeremy if that’s his name who brought the car in the first place. i am not going to enjoy this season.

It seems that while searching for an idol is still crucial, actually PLAYING it at tribal is a non-starter. Jeff must be seething.

Great advice! Rim Café sounds delicious and I’ll have to give it a try!

This DOES rock! I know he hasn’t done much, but I like him.

He has every right, as does his wife, to be pro-Israel and he has earned the right as a comedy legend to have his own views on comedy today. I thought DL did a decent job. I didn’t find too many sketches that were funny. I liked seeing Punky break for a minute—she usually keeps it together very well.
