  1. I loved this. Honestly Rose McGiwan and Ashley Judd deserve a freaking medal for the fact that them going on the record and putting names out there about Harvey have given women once voiceless and powerless the courage to tell their stories and be believed.
  2. Not going to lie this provides a whole lot more clarity on how he writes women characters on his led shows.
  3. After the Ed Westwick thing and the Allison Mack thing and the Kevin Spacey thing and the Mad Men thing I just knew something gross was going to come out about someone from Arrow. Why are Hollywood so full of creeps? How hard it is it to treat women with a modicum of respect and boundaries? It's surely not that difficult. Ugh I'm so angry and disappointed and feel gross about this.
  4. Uggggggghhhhhhhhhh Am I now going to have to stop watching Arrow when it finally is getting better? Hes sounds gross and I hope he gets the freaking sack.
  5. I'm taking her dark love story just a reference to the fact that the crossover deals with Nazis but also deals with love wether that be weddings or losing loved ones and not literally that the crossover is going to focus on the nazis love story with one another. And Nazi Oliver and Nazi Kara having a grand romance was speculation from a group of people on twitter who were inclined to believe and promote worst case scenarios as facts- like Oliver getting drunk and hooking up with Susan in 5x07 after seeing Billy and Felicity together or Oliver and Tinah hooking up and having a triangle with Felicity or Felicity being written out of the show and replaced with Curtis/Dinah/random lamp in SCDP set.
  6. To me when you get to the point that your are black mailing, branding, punishing and treating people like slaves you cross the victim label into the culpable label. I can't really feel sorry for Allison Mack any more then I feel sorry for Tom Cruise who also used his celebrity status to protect and legitimise an evil dangerous cult.
  7. Nooooo! You're telling me I can never watch Gossip Girl Smallville House of cards and now Mad Men again. Ugh Hollywood is trash.
  8. I'd consider the last episode pretty female focused since Felicity was front and centre and Oliver and Diggle played supporting characters to her storyline. Literally. She had like 25 minutes of screen time to like their 10 minutes. And she actually had something of merit to do both on the emotional front of her character on the action front of the show AND she advanced the main Big Bad plot and is now intimately connected to and seen as a legitimate threat to the Big Bad rather then his damsel he can threaten the male hero with.
  9. It makes sense. It's funny but we don't really have rental apartments like that where I live but we don't have many houses that are built with basements or apartments over garages either but that's certainly a smart way to pay off your mortgage. I've known though of people who subdivide their land and either sell off half to pay for the other half or build two houses to sell one to pay for the other though.
  10. I looked him up. I don't think I've seen his episode yet but I'm weirdly addicted so give me time haha. I was shocked by how many houses in Vancouver have rental properties and how it's a desirable feature.
  11. Well I've been bingeing season 1 of Love it or List it and so far of 17 episodes Todd has convinced I think 3 people to List and the rest have opted to stay so I wouldn't be surprised if they sign up for free renos. At the same time again if the houses they were being shown were properly staged by professionals who know how to get rid of owners crap and make the houses look appealing there might be a more even spread between Love and List. I started watching the Vancouver series because I watched the Australian one first and even though the Australia designer is more sophisticated in his designs then the Vancouver designer he pretty much only won 50% of the time because the clients are taken to homes that you can tell have been staged for sale. I also like that unlike the Vancouver series there's less forced or scripted drama in the Australian series and they actually tell you whether the clients ended up buying other homes or not. Like Todd on some of his tours will literally be showing clients the junk room of people's homes (which most people have mind you) where as Jillian she makes beautiful rooms but she never really offers that much storage options for the clients and the amount of stuff you see them have at the beginning of the episode that I just know their beautiful clean well designed rooms won't stay like that haha. But all the clients see is this magazine ready designed room and they're won over. It's the same with the Australian version to. Beautiful sophisticated classy rooms but considering 90% of the time the clients problem is not enough storage that never seems to be really fixed.
  12. I've decided I feel sorry for Todd on Love it or List it Vancouver. The deck is stacked against him. Like he takes them around to all these houses and the people selling them have all their crap and clutter lying around that it takes away from the buyers ability to to see the homes potential. Then when they come home Jillians renovation is beautiful and clean and perfectly staged to get the owners to emotionally pull to keep their house (even though they will probably clutter up those spaces three weeks later themselves). Like I don't know which real estate agency the show uses to source these houses but they need to employ professional real estate stagers.
  13. Some guys stand out side in the rain with a boom box some guys walk around the city in a gas mask and beat the crap out of three dudes. ?
  14. Why do The Flash always interpret Felicity's quirks as Felicity being an air head. I'm still cringing over the sex line from The Flash 1x18 but the fact that wrote Felicity as not being able to read the context that the so obviously creepy and villainy guy was not a stripper is annoying when the same woman threw a party just so she could offer Fake Laurel a choice between water and wine for a toast because she knew Fake Laurel wasn't on the level. Ugh Flash.
  15. Agreed. That one episode they had GA/BC have sex- even though she technically wasn't Black Canary at the time- back in season one before promptly dropping the relationship forever has definitely hurt Arrow 6 years later. I'm surprised it's made it this far to be honest. But to bring the topic back to the episode, I'm still not over how amazing this episode was and how balanced they can make everyone's roles now that they aren't burdened by the flash backs. It's freed them up so much. Also underrated moment of the episode I'm giving to this: I love Oliver's I'm watching you b***h in his inflection when he says they sure are back together. Plus Alena was so cute in that moment. It's like Oliver why you want to fight such a cute face? Ha.
  16. Yeah I'm thinking Oliver is going to be the sagely yoda type to Kara. I mean I'd have to see the tone of the clip but I feel like DR would sell it as something more shocking or surprise twisty if it was a Oliver/Kara nazi hookup. In print the tone more reads like nice bonding moments.
  17. I've heard that theory floating around but I'm not seeing the correlation between 'you'll like their scenes' to they are totally going to hook up and have nazi babies guys....like at all? It feels the same as Tinah and Oliver are totes going to be in love speccing that went no where.
  18. Emily has filmed Flash crossovers before and it not impacted on her Arrow appearances. I mean in season 3 she filmed three Flash crossovers and her Arrow time was only impacted in 1 episode. So I don't think Slade being in two episodes means Felicity won't be. I'm sure she'll have something to do.
  19. Interesting. But there's far to many variables when comparing shows in different seasons, diffferent time slots different days etc. that's it's not truly comparable.
  20. I'm guessing learning the meaning of true love just means he decides he wants to be married and doesn't want to wait life is short yada yada but again ... he came to that decision in season 4 like two or three times haha. I don't need them to have kids on the show. I can live with right at the end It's revealed in a flash forward they do or something. I mean it'd be nice if it happens in a sustained storyline way but I'm not expecting it unless Emily gets pregnant in real life. But I do think with William in the picture they should at least be having the conversation of do you want more kids/kids with me?
  21. All this talk about Emily's contract makes me think of the time CanadaGraphs insisted that Emily only gets paid on a day by day basis and that her working on other shows isn't a sign of how much they think of her usefulness in the Arrowverse but of them getting her to work for free. Lol.
  22. Seeing as I only recall that line being said once- yeah it does.
