  1. This so much. I had hoped that Quinn was just coming off as an unreliable narrator (50s housewife, tied up in the kitchen in full view of windows, bucket in the basement, show your allegiance by killing the GF) because all of that was just soooooooo bad. I knew something was off with the other FBI team because they were all really creeper when talking with the team in the bullpen - but killer cult?? Oh wow. And, at Rossi's house, they still thought the unsub was Quinn, not the "helpful" FBI agent, right?? And to top off the awful, they even had an end scene with Garcia kidnapped (of course) complete with palms against the back window = the universal signal of being kidnapped. Ugh.
  2. Agree with your entire post - especially the last two. I can't believe that Kirkman apologized to her after she basically threw him under the bus by not giving him a heads up before the meeting took place. I guess one chess game later and you are ready to take over the presidency. I just hated her in that moment. And, yeah, I'm trying to figure out what her motivation is to get Kirkman removed by Frost. He promised her company a ton of government contracts for helping them during the E/W Whatevercountry negotiations and now she basically has full access to the White House. She wants him out to what end? I don't get it....
  3. Ah, another local corruption story. I know this takes place in NOLA, but geez. Also, they may want to rethink Halliday, considering she could not help herself and went rogue (although, that does seem to be the type Pride likes....) Definitely missed Percy.
  4. Agree. E/S give more of the brother-sister vibe and at least E/A were interesting in trying to out ambition each other for Kirkman's attention. Much more interesting to have that friction then the Lyor is pissing everyone off friction (I did appreciate Aaron's question to Lyor of what he actually did at the WH, since I was unsure as well....)
  5. So is this the family that supposedly died in the house explosion?
  6. HA HA HA!!! Amazingly dumb scene except for the absolutely creepy kid who handed off the pamphlet or whatever it was. Yes, the Taliban would not have picked up on them standing stupidly in front of random graves talking into earpieces in a snow covered graveyard when scoping out a drop off of $10 million worth of diamonds. I had the same reaction. The battle of dads and daughters would have made more sense. However, my impression is that this girl is the real Red daughter and Lizzie is not. Also, I didn't like how Liz didn't have one moment of WTF hesitation when NotGarvey Daughter revealed her parentage. She instantly responds with, "I am too!" Blech.
  7. I agree. It's probably difficult to have any sympathetic ear in a family where conformity is the norm. I had always speculated that she was in the THs during "...And Counting" with her older sisters because they wanted her to be more girly-girl (and, from what I recall, she never seemed to be pleased to be a part of the THs), but I'm wondering if it was instead about this "doubtful" time...interesting.
  8. Count me in on this disappointment. Couldn't have had at least one on camera (I like to believe that they hooked up on the DL at some point) kiss?? Just ONE good bye kiss?? Sigh.
  9. Totally agree. I'm sure she doesn't believe she has much of a purpose - all of the attention she got only because of the amount of kids she had and a TV show that now focuses on her kids, not her and her babies. She doesn't know what to do with herself.
  10. Otherwise, it would be a HUGELY BIG coincidence that the random case that Garcia just happened to be assigned in Cyber Crimes was actually connected to a case that Barnes worked on as a field officer (and closed, by the way). I mean, what are the odds!??!? Eye roll.
  11. Agree completely. Since they did not explain it in this episode, any future attempt to do so would not feel genuine. And, is this the first time they've presented the BAU as the "public face" or whatever of the FBI? I've never heard of public imaging to be of such importance of the BAU on the show before.... M&S reference: that was a welcome tangent, but weird. Aren't these shows on different networks?? Exactly. It is something they should have done at the end of this episode. Otherwise, it will be like a giant eye roll from me on trying to explain the terribleness of this arc away at some point in the future.... And re: the going rogue - I was surprised that, when it appears JJ and Simmons are the primary breadwinners in their families (at least, I think so), they would be so cavalier about their jobs and risk getting fired without any sort of acknowledgement that their families were like: go for it!
  12. Agreed! Also, I didn't think they did West Wing tours while the President was in office - only East Wing? And, are the press corps really allowed to walk wherever in the White House? And, can a private party really file an injunction on an Executive Order? That was one eye-rolling worthy episode.
  13. HA! What could go wrong with one SUV with just Aram and two FBI red shirts protecting him?
  14. Completely agree. I would have loved it if, instead, these cracker jack profilers used their skills against her instead of stomping their feet and talking down to her (I mean, I don't know about you all, but when I yell and talk down to my supervisor's supervisor, I always get my way). Now that at least would have been entertaining - I do love a good Jedi mind trick or two.
  15. @ottoDbusdriver and @Dowel Jones - agree!!. She's a Blacklister? Come on. The IRS/private school shenanigans? Boring. And Singleton drops a bombshell about Navarro to Ian Garvey (who, in my opinion, is super scary) and he only sends one guy to check out the safe house and has no one tail Singleton? I find that hard to believe since he seems to be one step ahead of everyone else at any time. Also, what was the point of having that weird scene with Aram and his weird smile at Keen? I don't get why they make him out to be so odd sometimes....
  16. You're welcome! When we got the glimpse of her locking the door I thought - oh, that's a nice surprise to have had him try to reach out to her in some way before introducing himself.
  17. I thought it was nice that his daughter ended up being the postal worker that he would chat with, and would have preferred the episode end with a longer scene between them (it was so short - like what did he say in those 5 seconds?? "Hey, hello. I know I'm here after the office has closed and that could be considered stalkerish. But, I'm your bio dad and here's a picture of me and your mom." Ugh) rather the one with Jack and her patches. I get that they were trying to give Jack more back story...BUT who keeps something that important to them in the glove box of their car??
  18. That's because it was distracting him from performing his patented LOOK OF SERIOUSNESS that he does so well (also known as shark eyes in the distance). :-)
  19. Ugh. I did notice a casting call link at the bottom of the screen last night. Geez - how many more of these shows?? I mean, don't we already have to deal with "3 Wives, 1 Husband" that is premiering like next week?
  20. I immediately thought of this too when Christine said on one of the THs that she couldn't believe she didn't notice it before it was checked out at school. Good God, her shoulders were totally off! How do you not notice that?!? Also, agree completely with earlier posters about Maddie and Caleb obviously not giving two shits about what the adults were discussing. Kudos to Robin for actually showing emotion during the X ray discussion. Made me sick when Janelle started in on "well, when it's not your kid, you don't really get that emotionally invested in the situation" during one of the THs. What the fuck??? Absent Robin's first three kids, all of those kids grew up together. Shouldn't Janelle feel something when viewing those X rays?? I mean, DAMN!
  21. ABSOLUTELY! As soon as she walked in - his immediate response was about her weight. I didn't think he could disgust me more with his fakeness, but there it was. And, I completely agree - there will be no one that is "compatible" because Ashley will always want someone a little less attractive than her (see: fiasco with Joselyn) and Dmitri wants a model. No one will ever be right for them and...thank God for that. And, AGREE about the Brineys!! I could not believe how nasty Drew was in his THs on April. Damn, if she sees that, I would not be surprised if she was like: f*ck you all, I'm going back to Utah. And, after watching multiple episodes of Auralee and Angela bad mouthing the hell out of April, it was so pathetic to see them practically begging her to come with them to Oregon. Holy hell. I thought at least one of them would be like: hey, this is our chance to get rid of her! Yippee!!
  22. I never did. The entire episode I kept waiting for him to shout about Crane and/or Abby.
  23. The only part I liked was when Percy stood up for herself with Isler insisting that he go along undercover after he had gotten his CI shot because, give me a break, he does look like a cop. I suppose that they were working on a back story because he needed to believe it...not that he would actually say those words to the guys who hired them...right??
  24. Wow. This one was pretty terrible. Why do these types of shows take an interesting plotline and then tie it up with the most lame bow ever? The arc started off with so much potential, but then tries to sell us that a charming, creepy, highly intelligent serial killer suddenly decides to blow his former attorney up in a car bomb, do some weird kidnapping with an old lady that instantly identified him, and then kidnap a former FBI agent? To what end?? Then have his former cellmate of 6 months from 10 years ago who just so happened to be the former owner of Megee/Tony's apartment channel Hannibal Lector and feed a bunch of idiotic acting NCIS agents tidbits about Hicks? And manage to unlock the cage he was in (by the way, I hate things like that. I mean, how in the hell was the guy supposed to go to the bathroom? Come on) luckily after Megee was left alone and opened the fucking door to the apartment after knowing that Hicks was on the run with Fornell. Sweet Jebus.
  25. Did you all like the FU Internet moment with Sobbyn crying because, according to Kody, when she gets passionate about something...well...she CRIES. On the TH, he's all, "just let it out - no one is going to make fun of you here." Well, maybe not in that room...but this board sure as hell will!!
